Confira os destaques do Jornal da Manhã desta terça-feira (27): O Irã advertiu os Estados Unidos de que responderá “com força” e de maneira “enérgica” a qualquer agressão, após a chegada de um porta-aviões americano ao Oriente Médio. Em comunicado oficial, o Ministério das Relações Exteriores iraniano afirmou que o país confia em suas próprias capacidades militares e que a presença do navio de guerra não afetará sua determinação. Autoridades iranianas instalaram um painel mostrando um porta-aviões destruído com a mensagem de que “quem semeia vento, colhe tempestade”. A Polícia Federal e a Controladoria-Geral da União deflagraram uma operação para desarticular um esquema criminoso suspeito de desvio de recursos públicos e fraudes em licitações na área da saúde. Ao todo, são cumpridos 35 mandados de busca e apreensão no Rio Grande do Norte, além de medidas cautelares e patrimoniais. As investigações apontam irregularidades em contratos de fornecimento de insumos para a rede pública, com indícios de não entrega de materiais, fornecimento inadequado e sobrepreço, envolvendo empresas que atuavam junto a administrações municipais de diversos estados. O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) participou, em dezembro de 2024, de uma reunião fora da agenda oficial com o banqueiro Daniel Vorcaro, dono do Banco Master, e com Gabriel Galípolo, então indicado à presidência do Banco Central. O encontro teria sido articulado pelo ex-ministro da Fazenda Guido Mantega, que levou Vorcaro e o ex-CEO do banco, Augusto Lima, ao Palácio. Em um telefonema classificado como "altamente produtivo", o presidente Lula e o presidente dos EUA, Donald Trump, estabeleceram as bases para uma nova parceria de segurança. O foco central é o asfixiamento financeiro de facções criminosas, com ênfase na repressão à lavagem de dinheiro e ao tráfico de armas. O INSS decidiu prorrogar até 20 de março o prazo para beneficiários contestarem descontos indevidos em seus benefícios. Bolsonaro havia sido mantido anteriormente na Superintendência da Polícia Federal, em Brasília, e foi transferido em 15 de janeiro. O deputado estadual Paulo Fiorilo (PT-SP) enviou ofícios ao Ministério Público de São Paulo (MPSP) e ao Tribunal de Contas do Estado (TCE-SP) solicitando informações sobre possíveis prejuízos em fundos de Previdência municipais que aplicaram recursos no Banco Master. Segundo o parlamentar, cidades paulistas teriam investido cerca de R$ 218 milhões em títulos que ficaram indisponíveis após a liquidação extrajudicial da instituição pelo Banco Central.
