Week 12 is here. Three weeks remain in the regular season as races for both conference championships and the College Football Playoff continue to grow tighter. Currently, there are a host of teams in playoff position with one or two losses, but how many losses can certain teams afford? A couple of those teams have big matchups this weekend as #11 Oklahoma visits #4 Alabama and #10 Texas visits #5 Georgia. Texas and Oklahoma already have two losses. Can they make it into the playoff if they drop another game? The same goes for #14 Vanderbilt and #23 Tennessee. Andy Staples, Ross Dellenger and Steven Godfrey discuss if any of these SEC teams would have a chance at making the playoff with three losses. They also take a look at another big matchup as #9 Notre Dame visits #22 Pittsburgh. Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi said this week that the game against Notre Dame doesn't matter because they are not in the ACC. The guys discuss what they think of these comments and if it sends the wrong message. Also, is the CFP killing conference championship games? Then, the guys chat about some news off of the field down in Louisiana. The drama continues as Brian Kelly is now suing LSU over his buyout. LSU is trying to avoid paying the full buyout and Kelly is not going down without a fight. Ross fills us in on the latest details that seem to be pointing towards this battle going to court. He also fills the crew in about the latest news out of Ole Miss. The rumors continue to swirl about Lane Kiffin leaving Ole Miss for Florida, and that drama could provide a distraction. Especially as the Gators come to town this weekend. The guys chat about how this situation is being handled and how it could affect other coaching hires around the country.Later, the guys make their picks for this week's I've Got A Feeling. Duke, Minnesota and Notre Dame are the choices among the crew. And how do the Pitt linebackers match up with Jeremiyah Love and the Fighting Irish running game? Our duo tackles those questions and previews the Pitt-West Virginia Backyard Brawl rivalry game in basketball as well. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Pitt hosts Notre Dame in the biggest game of the season. If Pitt wins, they could be ranked top 15 in the country. Pat Narduzzi said this is "absolutely not" a must-win game! This is technically not an ACC game and if Pitt beats Georgia Tech and Miami, they have a great shot at playing in the ACC Championship Game. Mason Heintschel gives Pitt a shot in every game.
Pat Narduzzi said Notre Dame could beat Pitt 100-10 and it would be ok as long as Pitt wins the next two. Narduzzi is trying to minimize the game. Is Narduzzi trying to take pressure off his squad? Pitt believes internally it's under ranked nationally. Winning this game would put Pitt on the national map.

It doesn't sound like Pat Narduzzi is taking this matchup against Notre Dame very seriously, saying he doesn't care if they lose the game by 100 points, as long as they win the final 2 (against Georgia Tech and Miami). Why does it feel like the fans care more than the head coach? Is Narduzzi just doing a bit here in his downplay of the Fighting Irish? The guys wondered how Pitt's season could be rattled if they do get killed by Notre Dame on Saturday. Poni is worried about Desmond Reid being held out if Pat doesn't see it as a big game.

How are Pitt fans feeling going into the Notre Dame game? Is this the biggest game Pat Narduzzi has coached in Pittsburgh? Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike puts a low percentage on a Mike Tomlin trade because it would require Tomlin's want to do it, but also because the Steelers take such pride in only have 3 coaches in 50+ years. Mike said there will always be a team out there that is interested in having what the Steelers always have – being in playoff contention every year. Mike expects Tomlin to always have options, but doesn't think it would be half of the league bowing down to have his services. Are the Giants an attractive job with Jaxson Dart at QB? Mike doesn't sense any appetite in the Steelers to make a change. Jakobi Meyers is the only WR Mike heard the Steelers were in on at the deadline. Mike was confused by Tomlin saying it wasn't an ‘off night' for Aaron Rodgers, but not being concerned about his long-term performance. Mike said Asante Samuel Jr. was in-demand around the league and credited the Steelers for making a low-risk move.
