Ray says Max was watching practice and it wasn't serious enough for him to leave the facility completely but he did not return to practice. Ray says that Allar has been fine but is also a rookie that has made some mistakes. McCarthy has praised Mason Ruduolph as well. Does that mean he will be the backup? Ray says he does not know. Aaron Rodgers had some choice words for Roman Wilson after he might have run the wrong route leading to an almost interception. Brandin Echols also left practice with an injury today.

Mike McCarthy had some high praise for third-round pick quarterback Drew Allar. A CBS report suggests that some plays Allar has made in camp looked better than the actual result. Allar vs Howard debate continues. Some reports also suggest Allar is clearly outplaying Howard.
