When it comes to running a Restoration Business few things are more important than sales. But a crucial element that is oftentimes missed with a lot of business owners is fully understanding WHO it is you are selling to in order to properly craft your messaging and approach to offer solutions to your target client's problems. The interruptive "candy and smile" type of marketing of the past just won't cut it. In this episode I am joined by past guests Chris Nordyke and Brandon Reese of the Floodlight Group and The Head Hearts and Boots Podcast to discuss solutions based sales tactics and how they altered their sales approach in their Restoration Business to a solutions based style and how they help Restoration Business owners rethink their approach to sales and marketing. Buckle up because this is a loaded episode!

Today's episode is with two exceptional gentlemen, Daniel Blum and Brandon Reese. I met these gentlemen when I was a guest on their show and have been fascinated with their mission of building a culture of outliers since then. They are the co-hosts of On the Bus.Daniel Blum is an ex-athlete, entrepreneur, poker player, pedantic, and eternal optimizer. He hails from sunny South Florida where his upbringing had him swinging between the vines of a plethora of hobbies on a regular basis. He graduated University of Florida with a degree in Food & Resource Economics. Award winning at nothing and above average at everything, Daniel is a risk taker and constantly challenging the status quo. He believes that boundaries are meant to be pushed, redefined and then shared. You can find him in Miami incubating businesses and playing online poker whilst pondering life's non-trivial aspects of anthropology, evolution, futurism, nutrition and logistics.Brandon is definition of free-spirited. He is on a never ending quest for peak optimization of the human experience. Brandon is an avid human enthusiast and doesn't see himself changing teams unless the robots let him adopt robot ears. He is also a former collegiate and professional basketball player who finds comforts and confusion in science, space, fitness, humans, and travel.Resources Mentioned In The EpisodePodcast: https://www.onthebuspodcast.com/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXoetq2a4umDNtEZDeT4eJQInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/onthebuspodcast/ See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
