I LOVE exploring different healing modalities and this is one I stumbled upon at a water park of all places! Halotherapy is a therapy that uses salt (in most cases, Himalayan salt) and something called a halogenerator that puts tiny, almost microscopic pieces of salt into the air to breathe. When you breath it in, the trace minerals that are found in the salt can help heal your body of a variety of ailments. Since I'm far from an expert on the topic, I brought in Jess Oltman, owner of "The Cedar House," a new healing center that's opening up in the Cedar Falls, IA area. Jess is a wealth of knowledge on this topic and does a great job of covering the ins & outs of halotherapy. Here's what we cover in this episode:How does halo therapy work? What are the benefits to halo therapy? What conditions can halo therapy help with? What does a typical session look like?To learn more about The Cedar House, visit: https://www.thecedarhouse.us/To learn more about Mindy CLICK HERE
