Is it possible to have contentment and joy in all circumstances? Can peace and fulfillment actually be qualities marking our lives? In his letter to the church in Philippi, the Apostle Paul describes how deep-rooted joy and confidence in God's promises — through a relationship with Jesus — can lead us to the good life.

Many relationships are under constant stress and fatigue. Fortunately, Jesus provides us wisdom showing us how to rethink the way we live among — and interact with — friends, coworkers, neighbors, strangers, and even family.

The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande has confirmed the de-registering of four Educor Colleges. The department cancelled the registrations of Damelin, City-Varsity, Lyceum College and ICESA City Campus, for failure to submit annual financial reports, among other things. Nzimande addressed the media on the matter a short while ago.
Jesus gives us peace, joy, and hope. When we celebrate his arrival each year, this truth can get muddled in the intensity and insanity of the season. However, Jesus's birth inaugurated the arrival of true peace, joy, and hope in our world of conflict, sadness, and hopelessness.

A strange, and very loud generator-like sound is resonating from the SUNY Buffalo's south campus late in the evening as some people were getting ready to go to sleep. The sound is coming from a construction site at the center of the campus and was vibrating loudly at 9:11 p.m. (Yes, it was 9:11!) But... no one seems to notice or care. Wouldn't a sound that loud violate city ordinances? Perhaps it would if people were paying close enough attention to what is being done to their environment to care enough to make a complaint. But who needs to live in a pleasant environment? After all, we have our screens to keep us occupied, right? Let's just sit back and let the Powers That Be (the PTB) destroy the world around us. Who cares? Should we care about anything? Naw, it's too painful to care. Let's pretend nothing's wrong. All I need to think about is me--Number Uno! We need not notice what is happening to our environment. We need not look at people and notice how dead their eyes have become. We don't need to start a conversation, lest we are labeled as startlingly friendly, noticeably unique in our viewpoints, or, worse, as "conspiracy theorists." Do we humans need each other? Perhaps not. Now that many of us are autistic, we might relish in the social distancing, dance as we've been programmed to dance, love in the way only a robot can "love." Everything's okay. Nothing to see here. Just turn on your "smart" phone and stare at it. There. That feels good, doesn't it? No need to bother worrying about what is happening in the world around you when you have a screen to keep you tired, lonely, and distracted. Before you know it, your life will be over, and you won't even notice when it's over. No, you won't remember a thing. Ah, but take a look at that screen! Isn't that interesting! And if you still have any questions or concerns, just Google it. You'll find all your answers there. There's no need to read, write or learn anything. The Internet has all the answers. Just ask Alexa. She knows. And if you disagree with her/it, then ask Siri for a second opinion. If you still disagree, then there is something very wrong with you. Why can't you be like everyone else? Also Is democracy "mob rule"? If so, then what type of system would prevent the majority of people from having a voice in their government? Is shutting down the voice of the people a good thing? Can we ever have a system that goes against the will of the majority without it being a tyrannical system? Which would you prefer--a government run by and for the majority of people or a government run by and for a minority of people? Hint: the latter is the system under which we are currently living. The only way that a minority of people can take control over the majority is through force and/or manipulation. Now, we are seeing both of those efforts taking place. Many people were forced to take injections in order to work, to travel, to live their lives comfortably. Others were essentially brainwashed. They believe that the Powers That Be (the PTB) are looking out for their interests. Even those who were injured by the injections continue to promote them. Preoccupied with their own self interests or just too brainwashed to see outside of the matrix, such people will continue to support the so-called Covid "vaccination" program, even while they are dying from myocarditis or a fast-moving cancer caused by the injections they so slavishly imbibed. Like alcoholics who defend their choice to drink, even while they've lost their jobs, homes, relationships, and sometimes their lives, some injection takers won't see the truth even when it is slapping them in the face or (sadly) in the heart. By the way, that was the late Leo Buscaglia speaking at the end of the podcast. At the beginning of the podcast, we heard from Mel Brooks ("History of the World, Part 1"), Mike Myers (Austin Powers), the late George Carlin, and Klaus Schrubb (aspiring dictator). #BigPharma #BigTech #5G #soundfrequencies --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/occupyyourmind/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/occupyyourmind/support

You might tell yourself to never walk alone and ask for help. You might remind yourself of your identity in Christ and the dangers of finding it anywhere else. Or, you may talk about forgiveness or patience. From May 21 to June 18, 2023, Redemption will explore these varied ideas and issues in the sermon series Letters From My Future Self. Letters with titles like Don't Overthink It, Ask For Help, Find Your Identity, Please Forgive, and Embrace The Wait are all waiting for us to read together.

Episode 51: As a multi-site church, we get to minister to many different cultures of the cities around us! Our City Campus, which took ground in Minneapolis several years ago, is located in the heart of Minneapolis and sees a very different culture than some of our rural campuses. Pastor Anthony Cox is the campus pastor of our City Campus, and he sat down to break down his thoughts on pastoring an urban church, and how we can best serve the inner city communities. Whether you have a campus or church in the inner city, we encourage you to pray about how God wants to use you and your team there!
The prophet Isaiah told the people of God about the coming Messiah some 700 years before the birth of Jesus. In Isaiah 9, several names are listed describing various attributes of God. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, and the Prince of Peace are among those names give to describe Immanuel, or ‘God with us.' Nearly three centuries later, we still have much to gain from understanding what Isaiah was telling us about Jesus, why God coming down to man is such a shift from all other religions, and what this means for our lives, not only at Christmas time, but every day.

AUT is currently undergoing budget cuts due to two years of Covid impacting their profits. As such, they've had to cut costs by letting professors go, and shutting down various facilities, including their city campus childcare centre. AUT justifies this decision by highlighting that not many students use it, but parent and PHD student Courtney Basnayake doesn't like this outcome, as she appreciated the convenience of having the daycare as a resource in her studies. "Is it better to have my son closer to me on campus in the city, or do we look for something closer to home? I guess it's a bit of a process. We only have two months now to find something, so time is of the essence." LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A federal inspection of Oregon State Hospital's Junction City campus found issues relating to patient care and mismanagement. The facility is now facing threats of decertification if it remains noncompliant by Aug. 3. The state-run facility has already submitted its proposal of changes which include more training for staff and monthly drills. Joining us is senior reporter for the Lund Report, Ben Botkin. He shares details of the investigation and helps explain what decertification could mean for this institution.
This message was preached by Apostle David Mulutsi at God's Tabernacle Christian Family Church 2022 celebration at City Campus on the 16th of April 2022.
Grace changes everything… if only we would let it. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus died and rose again so that we would not only be saved, but that we would also be liberated from everything that keeps us from living in the freedom that Jesus wants us to experience. Yet whether it's staying stuck in old patterns of our past, being enslaved by our need for human approval, preferring the safety of the familiar, or chasing after the empty promises of false gods, we often forsake the freedom that could be ours in Christ. Still hope remains because there is a better path toward life in Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit. So join us in our journey through one of the most passionate New Testament letters written by the Apostle Paul as he teaches us what it means to live free and love well.
