In this week's episode we're answering one of YOUR questions with a combination of expert tips and personal experience.  The Question: "I'm a 35yo woman who's been married to a really good guy for the last seven years. He never pressures me or anything, but every time I don't want sex, I instantly feel like i'm being a shitty wife. I know that's some leftover ‘good girl / keep your man happy' garbage, but the guilt is still really loud. How do I stop feeling like I'm failing him every time I'm not horny?" What We Cover in This Episode: Why you never owe anyone sex. Why consent and desire are required every single time, even in a loving and committed marriage. Where the guilt comes from. How “good girl conditioning” teaches us to prioritize a partner's pleasure over our own boundaries. Obligation sex vs wanted sex. Why a supportive partner should only want intimacy you are genuinely excited about, not sex given out of pressure. How guilt impacts pleasure and connection. How anxiety, obligation, and performance mindset shut down arousal and make sex feel high stakes. What happens when you keep overriding your no's. Why ignoring your boundaries leads to resentment, disconnect, and a shrinking desire for sex. Rewriting what it means to be a good partner. Why your value is not based on a penis ejaculating, and how honoring your needs strengthens intimacy. How to support your own desire and autonomy. Tools and mindset shifts to release pressure, protect your no's, and show up with real desire when it is there. Learn more about 1:1 coaching HERE! Get Honeydew Me Merch HERE! Join our Patreon and access exclusive content HERE! Delegation is one of the most important — and most misunderstood — leadership skills. In this episode, Andy sits down with Phyllis Collins and Teresa Schwab for a lively, honest conversation about why delegation is hard, what keeps leaders holding on too tightly, and how reframing the act of “letting go” can transform both people and organizations.Together, we explore the internal barriers that make delegation feel risky, the identity shifts that come with moving from “super performer” to leader, and the power of trust, coaching, and influence in helping others grow. You'll hear real stories, practical strategies, and a reframing of delegation that moves it from something burdensome to something energizing — for leaders and their teams. What We Cover in This EpisodeWhat delegation really is — and what it isn'tWhy high performers often struggle the most when moving into leadershipThe hidden fears behind holding on to tasksHow identity, trust, and control influence delegation habitsMisconceptions that keep leaders from sharing meaningful workHow delegation increases engagement, motivation, and organizational capacityReframing delegation for individual contributors (leading through influence)Why “dumping” and “abdication” are NOT delegationCoach-like techniques for supporting others without taking the work backHow teams and organizations change when leaders truly let goAndy's Rules of DelegationThese three rules offer a simple and powerful framework for transforming how leaders think about and practice delegation.Rule #1 — When we don't delegate, we rob our people of the opportunity for growth.Holding tightly to work that others could learn prevents your team from building skills, confidence, and engagement. Delegation is development.Rule #2 — There is no task too big to delegate.Believing “I'm the only one who can do this” is usually more about identity, control, or habit than reality. Others may perform the work differently — and sometimes even better. Real delegation includes meaningful, high-profile, high-impact work.Rule #3 — Delegation is not abdication.Delegation doesn't mean disappearing. Leaders shift from doing the work to supporting the work — setting clear expectations, checking in without taking over, and creating the conditions for others to succeed.Key Takeaways✨ Delegation is a strategic leadership move — not a chore.✨ Reframing the work through coaching and partnership builds trust and influence.✨ Letting go helps leaders stop drowning in tasks and start leading people.✨ Delegation fuels engagement. When people feel trusted and challenged, they lean in.✨ Doing everything yourself is not sustainable — and not what leadership requires.Connect With UsIf this conversation sparked something for you, share the episode with a colleague or leader who might appreciate a fresh way of thinking about delegation. Learn more at https://adastracoachalliance.com#AdAstraCoachAllianceTag us @AdAstraCoachAlliance and share your thoughts or takeaways from this episode!Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):License code: 1AF9FYKW2TNQNGG1

What happens when you live with a severe eating disorder in a larger body yet the medical system refuses to see it? In this powerful conversation, Sharon Maxwell (she/they) shares her story of surviving anorexia in a fat body, advocating for herself inside medical systems that consistently denied her care, and reclaiming joy, autonomy, and embodiment after years of harm. Sharon is an educator, speaker, and fat activist who dedicates her work to dismantling anti fat bias and eradicating weight stigma in healthcare and society. Their story and activism have been featured in the New York Times Magazine, The Tamron Hall Show, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, 60 Minutes, and more. Together, we explore the realities of receiving medical care while fat, why compassionate providers save lives, how weight stigma shaped Sharon's early life and nearly cost her her life, and why reclaiming joy becomes an act of resistance. This episode holds so much wisdom, solidarity, and truth telling for anyone in eating disorder recovery, anyone harmed by medical weight stigma, and anyone committed to building a safer world for people in larger bodies. What We Cover in This Episode Sharon's Early Story and Reclaiming Joy Sharon shares a surprising fun fact about being a lifelong pianist and how taking jazz lessons helped them reclaim creativity after growing up in a restrictive religious cult that controlled every aspect of music, expression, and embodied joy. They describe how jazz has become part of their healing and identity reconstruction. Growing Up Fat, Undiagnosed, and Unseen Sharon lived in a fat body their entire life and struggled with anorexia for nineteen years. They went undiagnosed because medical providers only saw their body size. When Sharon arrived with obvious symptoms of an eating disorder, providers dismissed the symptoms and blamed their body. They describe how weight stigma prevented treatment and reinforced eating disorder patterns. The Doctor Who Changed Everything Sharon describes the first doctor who recognized the eating disorder and offered real compassion. That moment shifted the trajectory of their life. We discuss how rare this experience is and why truly compassionate medical care can be lifesaving for people living in larger bodies. Medical Trauma and the Cost of Weight Stigma Sharon shares painful stories about: Being denied necessary medical procedures because of body size. Experiencing trauma at gynecological appointments. Nearly dying from untreated tonsillitis because providers assumed weight was the cause rather than treating the actual condition. The emotional and financial toll of weight stigma across childhood and adulthood. We discuss how the healthcare system misattributes the financial cost of weight stigma to the O-word and how this distorts public health narratives and patient care. Eating Disorders in Larger Bodies Sharon explains how anti fat bias prevents providers from seeing eating disorders in fat patients. They highlight how common anorexia is in larger bodies and how life threatening it becomes when medical systems refuse to diagnose or treat it. How Anti Fat Bias Harms Everyone Sharon and I talk about how dismantling anti fat bias supports every person in eating disorder recovery. Recovery requires divesting from anti fat bias, reconnecting with the body, and understanding how these biases shape thoughts and behaviors across all sizes. Intersectionality and Medical Harm We explore how harms escalate for people with multiple marginalized identities, including Black patients, Indigenous patients, trans patients, and fat patients who also face racism, transphobia, or medical gatekeeping. Advocacy, Boundaries, and Medical Self Protection Sharon shares concrete strategies for preparing for medical appointments, including: Bringing notes to stay grounded when hyperarousal hits. Recording appointments for recall and safety. Bringing a support person. Taking intentional rest time afterward. Establishing boundaries and walking out when providers violate consent. We discuss how exhausting it is to prepare for appointments that should be safe and how necessary these strategies become for survival. Why Sharon Became a Fat Activist After nearly dying because of weight stigma, Sharon left the classroom to educate clinicians, providers, and communities about anti fat bias. They now work with medical systems and general audiences to deconstruct bias, build safer care practices, and illuminate the threads of anti fat culture that harm everyone. Imagining an Ideal World Sharon answers the signature Dr. Marianne Land question. Their ideal world includes accessible spaces for play, joy, rest, and creativity for all bodies. It includes medical care rooted in compassion, humanity, and dignity, and it includes ice cream for everyone with options for all bodies and needs. Who This Episode Is For This episode supports: People in fat bodies who have experienced medical trauma. Listeners who lived with eating disorders in larger bodies without diagnosis or care. Providers wanting to unlearn weight stigma and offer safer treatment. Clinicians seeking to understand the intersection of eating disorders and anti fat bias. Anyone navigating healthcare systems that dismiss or harm them. People exploring intersectionality, fat liberation, and neurodivergent affirming care. Key Themes Eating disorders in larger bodies are real, severe, and often missed. Anti fat bias in healthcare prevents accurate diagnosis and lifesaving treatment. Medical trauma compounds over years and affects every modality of care. Compassionate providers save lives. Medical self advocacy is necessary but exhausting. Intersectionality affects both access to and quality of care. Joy and play become powerful acts of resistance. People in larger bodies deserve safety, dignity, and accurate medical treatment. In this week's episode we're answering one of YOUR questions with a combination of expert tips and personal experience.  The Question: "My question is about breaking a negative habit. My long-term boyfriend is wonderful, patient, and always makes sure I finish, but sometimes I find myself not wanting to have sex at all because I don't feel like giving myself the time. It's like, “ugh, it takes too long and who has time for that?” How can I change that mindset, stop rushing my pleasure, and actually enjoy the process?" What We Cover in This Episode: Why it's so hard to give yourself permission to take the time. And how guilt or pressure shows up even with a loving partner. Where the “too much work” mindset comes from. We trace it back to messages about sex, bodies, and being “easy.” Why it's normal to feel impatient with your own pleasure. And how to shift out of that without forcing it. When pipeline starts slipping and targets go up, most revenue leaders do the same thing: they panic. They launch new experiments, adopt the latest AI tools, and try to do more, faster, harder. But what if that's exactly what's keeping you stuck? This episode is part of a 5-part series exploring the journey B2B revenue leaders take from reactive chaos to understanding and measuring their full revenue factory, and transforming their careers in the process. Each stage represents a critical transformation moment that separates leaders who consistently hit their targets and drive real results from those who scramble every quarter wondering why nothing's working. This episode explores Stage 1: The Panic Response, and it represents the first stage in revenue transformation. You're likely in Stage 1 if you're asking questions like, "What experiments should I try next?", "What are other companies doing that I should copy?", or "What AI tool is going to save my pipeline?".What We Cover in This Episode:Why the question "What experiments should I try next?" is fundamentally wrongHow to recognize if you're trapped in The Panic ResponseThe uncomfortable truth about why transformation only happens outside your comfort zoneWhat it actually takes to move from reactive scrambling to strategic confidenceWhy adding more tactics to a broken foundation only creates more noise in an already chaotic systemThe real reason you can't measure the impact of your investments, and what that means for your ability to drive growthWhat fundamental questions you're NOT asking because you don't have the data model to answer themThe moment of decision that separates leaders who transform from leaders who stay stuckHow to stop copying what other companies are doing and start building what actually works for YOUR revenue factoryIf you've ever felt like you're working harder than ever but can't prove you're moving the needle, this episode is for you.—This episode is powered by Passetto. If you're tired of staring at dashboards that don't tell you what you need to know, you're not alone. Most revenue leaders are flying blind because of the Pipeline Black Box™, a critical data gap that keeps you from understanding what's actually driving results. Passetto transforms how you run your revenue engine, so you can finally see what's working, fix what's not, and scale with precision.Tired of guessing what's generating pipeline and what's draining your resources? Dr. E here with another asynchronous episode of Untold Physio Stories, featuring the great Dr. Wells! We're diving deep into the trenches of chronic elbow tendinopathies, specifically lateral epicondylalgia, and the surprising speed of response in a couple of recent patient cases. What We Cover in This Episode:The Power of Length and Load: We revisit the concept of using isometric contractions in a lengthened position (70-80% MVC) for superior tendon loading, inspired by Dr Michaud's excellent tendinopathy article.Dr. E shares a recent article on LinkedIn by Dr. Malliaras showing that this position creates significantly higher tensile force in the tendon compared to concentric/eccentric exercises, making it ideal for remodeling and managing inflammation.Case 1: The WFH Warrior (Lateral Epicondylalgia): A work-from-home patient with bilateral elbow pain from excessive arm raises found complete symptom resolution in just two weeks using the lengthened isometric contraction technique (wrist flexion, pronation, resisting extension). We discuss why this response was so much faster than typically expected for tendinopathy. Was it pain modulation, a true strength issue, or something else?Case 2: The Chronic Tennis Coach: A long-term case of lateral epicondylalgia that didn't respond to the initial lengthened isometric program or even repeated cervical retractions. We explore the eventual success with a Mulligan Mobilization with Movement (MWM) technique (lateral ulnar glide with gripping/wrist extension), highlighting the sometimes-necessary shift from exercise to pain-modulating manual therapy before resuming loading. The Big Question: Dr. Wells and Dr. E debate the varying patient responses, the balance between mid-range vs. lengthened loading, and why these tendinopathy cases can be so unpredictable. Dr. Wells also shares a cautionary tale about an athlete who didn't respond to conservative care, ultimately revealing a significant tear.
