The first KISS album was released on February 18, 1974! To help celebrate that momentous occasion, Alan is joined by good friend Matt Alschbach of the Rock and Metal Profs Podcast! We talk about the brilliance of that debut album and how it set the template for everything that followed; Matt tells us about seeing the End of the Road show twice and tells stories from last year's Creatures Fest, and then we name our favorite KISS albums from each decade. Albeit from afar, an honest take and perhaps unnecessarily angry rant, and harsh calling out of the Space Man and his management after seeing clips from 'Creatures Fest'. Kudos to the organizers for pulling it off but, man, did we get a treat. The kind of treat I'd prefer my friends / long-time KISS detractors never get a hold of, or they'd be dead on the mark when they opined yet again "I still think they suck!". As Jagger said, what a drag it is getting old. The earmark of poor management? the pure class of Bruce Kulick? the Vincent Cusano imposter? Truth hits everybody! - KISStorian.com --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kisstorian/support
This week Tom & Zeus welcome back AEW Wrestling Superstar, lead singer of Fozzy & host of the Talk is Jericho Podcast, Le Champion himself, Chris Jericho and his Non Makeup KISS inspired band, Kuarantine to Shout It Out Loudcast! Kuarantine consists of 5 awesome musicians with their own careers who joined together to celebrate their love of Non-Makeup KISS music. Jericho is joined by the killer duo guitar attack of Joe McGuinness (Klassik 78) & Charlie Parra del Riego (Kobra And The Lotus), bassist extraordinaire and funny man, PJ Farley (Trixter) and the kick ass drummer, Kent Slucher (Luke Bryan). Kuarantine was formed during the pandemic and has released 4 singles of KISS songs to date, No, No, No, Heart of Chrome, Love's A Deadly Weapon and Silver Spoon. The songs have climbed the rock charts and surpassed KISS' own charts during that era. The guys discuss all things Non-Makeup KISS, the songs, the era and the bond that connects the band because of this specific era. They breakdown their break out performance at Creatures Fest and what's in store for Kuarantine. As usual this SIOL conversation is filled with insults, laughs and more. The guys get honest about about this era of KISS and their KISStory. So don't miss this unique episode or you will skidmark your knickers! Since no other podcast has done it, we're back this week to review the recent Creatures Fest event that took place in Nashville. Yes, we're totally being sarcastic. A lot of our friends in the podcast world attended this KISS-related event over Memorial Day weekend and Aaron Camaro was no exception. This is a special free episode of The Torpedo Dudes; a KISS podcast from Decibel Geek that appears exclusively on Patreon. If you like what you here and want to hear more, subscribe to be a DBG VIP at www.patreon.com/decibelgeek. You'll get future episodes as well as over 100 hours of archived material. This event was headlined by former KISS members Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Bruce Kulick, and Vinnie Vincent. Rounding out the lineup were rock mainstays such as Enuff Z'nuff, Vixen, and Pretty Boy Floyd as well as younger talent such as Kore Rozzik and Sisters Doll. Additionally, several special events took place including performances by Kuarantine, Minefield, an All Star jam, and an Unplugged pool party. Throw in vinyl and merch vendors as well as meet and greets and it seems like a cool event for KISS fans. So, did it live up to the hype?In this episode, Aaron shares his thoughts and memories on Creatures Fest from the atmosphere to the vendors, to the guests and, especially, the performances. Ace Frehley and Peter Criss reunited on stage for one of the nights, Bruce Kulick headlined the closing ceremonies but it was Vinnie Vincent's performance that seemed to grab the most attention; for a variety of reasons. What were our thoughts? You'll have to listen to find out. You'll get the on-the-ground review from Aaron and Chris gives his take from the peanut gallery (ie. The boys are back in town after a fun Nashville TN weekend getaway! Alex, James and Chris break down the long travels and what they got into all weekend; between bar hopping, live music, running into people we never expected to see, crazy Uber driver stories, hotels charging $29,000 to Chris' card, and almost going to CREATURES FEST; this is a pretty stacked episode! And with that tease, of course Alex and James weigh in on the outsider's perspective of what went down at CREATURES FEST between Ace Frehley, Vinnie Vincent, Bruce Kulick, and Peter Criss' sets and guest spots .. was it as badass as the promoter promised?ARTIST: Hank TrillSONG: Propane Money 2Listen to other shows on the SOMETHING GOOD NETWORK: https://linktr.ee/somethinggoodnetwork Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/Ge53Nu9SGFY Spotify Music Playlist: goo.gl/XemDeL

Happy Memorial Day everybody. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the past , present and future members of our armed forces for your courageous service. We have put together a quick show today commenting on leaked reports surrounding this weekends CREATURES FEST in Nashville,Tenn. Original KISS members ACE FREHLEY and PETER CRISS were joined KISS alumni Vinnie Vincent and Bruce Kulick for a 2 day expo "CELEBRATING" KISSTORY. VINNIE VINCENT had a brief , but "LEGENDARY" run with KISS from 1983- 1984. Toured with the band on the 1983 CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour and even donned a PHAROH persona on stage. BRUCE KULICK enjoyed a more productive and respected run with KISS from 1984- 1996. Vernomatic and Ian discuss some of the bizarre leaked reports from the expo. Musicians playing to backing tracks, Strict NO CELL PHONE policy, absurd charges for auto graphs as well as other wacky reports. This is just the start of what should be a fun and exciting few days in the KISSTORY camp. This edition of The Loaded Radio Podcast features us in conversation with MISERY INDEX guitarist/vocalist Mark Kloeppel. MISERY INDEX have the pulverizing new album "Complete Control" out now via Century Media and if the bludgeoning sounds of pure, unadulterated American death metal are what you crave, then this album (and band) are exactly what you need. Also Loaded Radio's Johnny Rude returns this week in the second portion of the show live from Las Vegas where we discuss the week that was in hard rock and metal. But mostly we just talk about the recent "Creatures Fest" event in Nashville which featured a handful of former members of the band KISS.
I'm just back from the Creatures Fest weekend in Nashville, Tn and we share our thoughts about this once in a lifetime event.
