Tricia's Bio: From Newtown Connecticut, at the age of 22 I met a musician from Los Angeles and felt the desire to move to California in search of success myself, I struggled with modeling and finding a legit fashion scene at the time as runway was my thing. I then picked up a job as a messenger and driver while I went to college seeking a degree in law. Then I met another guy who got me involved in event promotions and my life took a wild turn after we broke up, I started my own event in a Hollywood nightclub in 1998 called Bar Sinister that is a world renowned alternative club today I ended up buying the club and today own Dave's on Broadway in Glendale, Boardners of Hollywood, Bar Sinister, Bon Vivant Market & Cafe in Atwater Village and The Sportsman's Saloon in Kernville and place that I have been coming to for its epic beauty, white water rafting, hiking, camping and star gazing. I sat as president of the Kern River Conservancy for 5 years and am continually proud of what KRC has done for this magnificent river! As a business owner with over 150 employees I am also actively involved in the communities I serve, I sit on the Kernville Chamber, president of The Greater Los Angeles Hospitality Association, Cal Nightlife and I once served on the Hollywood Central Park Board and Hollywood Central Neighborhood council. My businesses, my incredible staff and my customers are my passion along with my two cavapoos Whisky & Disco, I love to ski, raft, hike, travel, cook and eat food, drink beverages made with love! We were wondering what a SETLIST for that tour would look like so we each came up with 1!! Check it out!
Led Zeppelin wowed the world in December 2007 with a reunion show at London's O2 Arena. Yet while Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham's son Jason wanted to keep the winning streak going, Robert Plant made it immediately clear he had no interest in performing more shows. That led the remaining members to hold secret auditions throughout 2008 for a singer. Not much is actually known about these sessions (Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy are the only singers to have publicly confirmed their participation, and it was never confirmed what Page and co's intentions actually were), but ultimately nothing came to fruition… but what if those 2008 sessions actually did lead to something? What if Led Zeppelin followed their massively successful O2 Arena reunion with a tour sans Robert Plant? That's what Matt and Zach discuss during a new episode of "What If?" In this podcast series, we analyze hypothetical scenarios surrounding moments in music history that nearly happened, and hypothesize what the outcomes could've been if that “what if” became a reality. Also listen to a ton of other episodes where Led Zeppelin is heavily discussed: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMDTLLqaGPtjRfjO-Ar1fKCXhAMVS02K8 Want to buy some exclusive Epic Footnote merch, or listen to our episodes on another streaming platform? From - Brent James Ain't nobody got time to read this shit but here we go anyway. Started playing music in front of people in high school. Sophomore year to be exact. Had a few beers and let it fly. Felt like magic. Got addicted to hands clapping and whistles. Been screwed with the songwriter bug ever since. Played in a couple bands after high school. Moved to NYC from my hometown of Frankenmuth Michigan when I was 23. Sang in a band. Toured many years in a van and trailer up and down the east coast. Got into another band. Did a record that Eddie Kramer mixed. It rocked. We broke up. Started doing a solo songwriter/rock and roll thing. Signed a publishing deal with Primary Wave/BMG/Skiddco. Did the record in Nashville with Skidd Mills and the Contraband boys. Had a single. Called it “Moment of Silence”. Went to #51 on Billboard. Kept playing shows the whole way. Toured/played shows with Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Daughtry, Cadillac Three, Candlebox, Uncle Kracker, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Huey Lewis and countless others. Moved to Cincinnati. met the Vintage Youth boys. Put out a few EP's and a full length. Finishing another now. Out soon in 2020. Never stopped playing shows. Thanks for getting this far. Until next time folks! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

LinkedIn Power Jill never thought she'd be a LinkedIn Power broker! In fact, she used to have a real hate for social media. She started life as an actress. Trod the boards, did musicals, Shakespeare, Toured the country. But, when Jill had children, this came to an end. So, Jill started in business. Her business grew and she topped out at 17 staff. Impressive. On top of that, she started coaching people. It dawned on Jill, that LinkedIn was a hotbed of potential. Jazz/Rock Fusion greats Blood, Sweat & Tears were on top of their game in 1970, winning grammies, headlining Woodstock and racking up hit after hit with Spinning Wheel, And When I Die, and You've Made Me So Very Happy. And then they ventured behind the Iron Curtain. It was not their idea. Nixon was President. The Viet Nam War raged on and BS & T were blackmailed into acting as emissaries on behalf of the U.S. State Department, touring the Soviet Bloc countries of Yugoslavia, Romania and Poland. This precarious adventure and the ensuing stateside fallout are chronicled in the new doc, What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat and Tears? Director John Scheinfeld and BS&T Drummer Bobby Colomby join us to discuss this remarkable film, the newly unearthed tour footage, The State Departments' and the Soviet Bloc countries' respective agendas, and how America's response in 1970 reflects a nation as fractured and polarized as the one we see today. Plus, we learn about the jazz and soul origins of BS&T, Bobby's foggy Woodstock memories, John's story-telling principles and how the making of this documentary allowed Bobby, at long last, to recognize his own skill as a drummer! All that and Fritz and Weezy are recommending Sin Eater: The Crimes of Anthony Pellicano on Hulu & HBO's doc series, The Anarchists.Path Points of Interest:What The Hell Happened To Blood Sweat and TearsDirector John Scheinfeld John Scheinfeld on InstagramBobby Colomby Memorandum From the President's Assistant for National Security Affairs (Kissinger) to President NixonL.A.
