KISS fans spend a lot of time trying to understand decisions made by members of the band. But in the past couple of months Vinnie Vincent has gone out of his way to confuse and anger some members of the KISS ARMY. This week we ask what is going on with Vinnie Vincent?

Morning crap pop pickers, it's another look at some of the worlds worst music, as we give you another episode of Trve. Crvp. Pop!On this week's show, sadly, Sam has been struck down by a malevolent being... or he's just feeling a bit poorly, and he can't be here. Luckily, what knight from yonder should cross our paths? Why it's Paul Waller of the excellent A Year in Horror podcast. He's here as we discuss Kiss' Music from "The Elder" the 9th studio album from the hard rock legends, released on the 10th of November 1981.We later 70's going into the 80's was a squiffy ol time for Kiss. They had embraced disco, gone pop, seen ticket and album sales take a nose dive and even their plans for a Kiss themed amusement park (which I'm sure you'll agree, we'd all love to have seen) were shelved.When original drummer Peter "The Cat" Criss exited the band, to be replaced by Eric Carr and his, not as good, Fox make up, Kiss knew they had to stop the slump. And what better way to do that than to write a concept album based on a short story by bassist Gene Simmons about... well... a boy...? And he... he's got to train to save...? Look, we're not really sure. But producer Bob Ezrin, fresh off the success of Pink Floyd's The Wall, was brought in to make it all hang together. In reality, all he did was get other people in to play over the members of Kiss' tracks and bump a shit load of cocaine. Guitarist Ace Frehley hated it, the rest of the band were immediately embarrassed by it, it went down in infamy as one of the worst albums in rock history. But, how bad is it really? We'll let you know.

So much happened to KISS between the years 1979 and 1981. Dynasty in 79, Unmasked in 80 and Music from the Elder and Killers in 81. Then there is lineup changes. Peter Criss is out Eric Carr is in. Ace Frehley is getting ready to leave. You could right a paper on the music changes, and even the way the band looked went through a huge change. This could be the most controversial era for the band. Fans started to think the band left the KISS ARMY behind. Let's look at this era and talk about the music the look and the attitude of the era.

This week Tom & Zeus review the 1992 Revenge Tour which was in support of their 16th studio album, Revenge. This is SIOL's 12th KISS tour reviewed. Revenge was released on May 19, 1992 and the tour began on April 23, 1992 in San Francisco in a club and ended December 20, 1992 This is known as the Revenge Era lineup. New Drummer Eric Singer joins KISS after the tragic death of beloved drummer, Eric Carr. The stage has a statute of liberty which changes during the show. KISS is now dressed in black leather and the "Demon" Gene Simmons is back! The setlist featured as many as 6 new songs from Revenge, and many of the classic songs from KISS. The setlist actually rotated ... imagine that! As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. This week Tom & Zeus review the 1992 Revenge Tour which was in support of their 16th studio album, Revenge. This is SIOL's 12th KISS tour reviewed. Revenge was released on May 19, 1992 and the tour began on April 23, 1992 in San Francisco in a club and ended December 20, 1992 This is known as the Revenge Era lineup. New Drummer Eric Singer joins KISS after the tragic death of beloved drummer, Eric Carr. The stage has a statute of liberty which changes during the show. KISS is now dressed in black leather and the "Demon" Gene Simmons is back! The setlist featured as many as 6 new songs from Revenge, and many of the classic songs from KISS. The setlist actually rotated ... imagine that! As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous tours reviewed so far. It is with heavy hearts that we present this week's episode as a tribute to Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley. The rock 'n' roll icon, legendary guitar god, and former KISS guitarist, passed away on October 16, 2025, after suffering a fall in his home studio weeks earlier. Kevin has a profound connection to KISS and Ace as a lifelong fan and proud member of the KISS Army. While not an obscure artist by any means (the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had 10 gold records, 5 multi-platinum records with KISS, and a platinum solo album), the duo tries to share some lesser-known songs, including a few crazy guest appearances. Excuse Kevin's extensive ramblings about the great Space Ace, but this loss was hard, and the tribute is necessary. Ace was a true character, who played a character, and played with character.
