This week Tom & Zeus review KISS' 2007 "Hit 'n Run Tour" which although small was very unique. This is SIOL's 10th KISS tour reviewed. This tour was only 6 dates. However, it includes one of the most unique KISS concerts of all time, the time played as a trio and without Paul Stanley. KISS was now Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. This was beginning of KISS as a legacy act. Kiss was doing corporate gigs, casinos and other unique shows. This week we continue our series of KISS year by year as we get in to 1976. What some would say is the start of the amazing run they had as one of the biggest bands in the world!

So Paul released a tweet that says he got a new guitar and it is inspiring him to play and maybe even write? Should he and do we as fans want that?

This week we will discuss KISS from the years 1974-1975 The records they released and the ENDLESS TOUR they were on. Their 1st release KISS in 1974 was not a huge hit so Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley went back into the studio and put out Hotter than Hell and once again it was not a hit. So 3rd times a charm rightr? Nope Dressed to Kill sold ok but what it did have was Rock and roll all night! As a last chance effort KISS released KISS ALIVE which was a double live record featuring the band like they should be...LIVE! The rest is KISSTORY!!

This week Tom & Zeus discuss KISS member, lead guitarist and the current spaceman, Tommy Thayer. This is SIOL's 6th KISS member profile. This week Tom & Zeus review the 2003 "World Domination Tour" which featured KISS & Aerosmith. This is SIOL's 7th KISS tour reviewed. This tour was unique because it featured two of the premier hard rock bands from the United States of all time. Both bands were huge in the 1970's and both had major comebacks, Aerosmith in the 1980's and KISS in the 1990's. The tour also was known for Aerosmith insisting that at least three original members of KISS be in the band. With Ace Frehley definitely out of the picture, the original catman, Peter Criss returned to join Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and the new spaceman, Tommy Thayer. The tour had KISS opening up and Aerosmith finishing. Some fans were disappointed because both legendary bands had to shorten their setlist too accommodate the other band. The band at this point was 5 years removed from their last album and would play a setlitst of mostly classic makeup hits. The tour was a success and Tom & Zeus did get to see the tour when they visited Mansfield, Massachusetts. As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous 6 tours reviewed so far. This tour was unique because it featured two of the premier hard rock bands from the United States of all time. Both bands were huge in the 1970's and both had major comebacks, Aerosmith in the 1980's and KISS in the 1990's. The tour also was known for Aerosmith insisting that at least three original members of KISS be in the band. With Ace Frehley definitely out of the picture, the original catman, Peter Criss returned to join Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and the new spaceman, Tommy Thayer. The tour had KISS opening up and Aerosmith finishing. Some fans were disappointed because both legendary bands had to shorten their setlist too accommodate the other band. The band at this point was 5 years removed from their last album and would play a setlitst of mostly classic makeup hits. The tour was a success and Tom & Zeus did get to see the tour when they visited Mansfield, Massachusetts. As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour.
