The response was so positive, and they enjoyed it so much, they decided to continue booking shows and writing songs. They recorded and released a homemade CD titled Rise Up; which sold over 1,000 copies at local shows. Shortly after, friend and local musician, Sawyer Rikard, joined the band on bass guitar in 2015, bringing their stage sound and performance to another level. In March of 2016, they released a follow-up EP, All Fall Down, which debuted #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. They soon began touring and being invited to festivals such as Rocklahoma, SXSW, Rockfest, Dirtfest, Loud in Lima, etc.In 2018, they joined forces with Legend Recordings, and released another EP, Ascension, which became their biggest release yet with singles “Back to Life” and “Killer Queen” landing on the radio. Shortly after, they added local powerhouse drummer (and childhood friend of Sawyer), Dakota Watson, to form the rhythm section Casandra, Paul, and Sawyer had always dreamed of. In 2019, they recorded standalone single “Love Will Win” with producer/videographer, Jake Jones, which gained even more radio play, and placed them on numerous national tours; supporting artists such as Tantric, Saliva, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dokken, and being added to the KISS Kruise and NAMM Show. The band continued to write, record, livestream, and perform wherever they could during the 2020 pandemic, and only continued to gain traction and fans from all over the world. Reaching out on a whim, they won over the attention of renowned producer/songwriter, Elvis Baskette, and shortly thereafter, entered the studio to record their first professionally made, full length album, Street Magic, in 2021. This release proved to be a monumental success, skyrocketing their audience with over 5 million views and streams across all platforms. Radio singles from this release alone include “For the Record”, “Despicable”, “Repeat Offender”, “Can't Quench the Fire”, and “Only Human”.Paralandra has since toured the country on multiple headlining runs, and is constantly supporting iconic bands such as Warrant, Lita Ford, Firehouse, Last in Line, and countless others with no end in sight. They reentered the studio with Elvis Baskette in 2023 and recorded their 2nd studio album, which is due April 4, 2024. They plan for this release to be just as big, if not bigger than the last, as they continue to record, write, tour, and work tirelessly to build their brand, and change the direction of rock music to be a force for good in this world.

It was during this time that he stumbled upon a band called Y&T. Drawn in by their captivating cover art, he purchased their album "Black Tiger" without even hearing a single note. When he finally dropped the needle on the record, Y&T's music resonated with him like no other, instantly becoming his favorite band.In a remarkable twist of fate, Aaron Leigh joined Y&T as their bass player in April of 2016, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Reflecting on this incredible opportunity, Aaron humbly acknowledges, "Being a lifelong fan of Y&T and then ending up as the bass player in one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE bands is an incredible blessing... I'm VERY lucky."While thriving as a member of Y&T, Aaron Leigh's creative spirit extends beyond the band. He is also a solo artist, songwriter, recording engineer, and producer. Today's guest on the podcast is Scott Stevens. Scott catches up with us coming off of a radio tour to promote his single 'Missin' You' off of his latest album 'Every Hat is a Cowboy Hat.' Check out the links below the press release for his latest album.Press Release:Country rocker Scott Stevens is releasing a modern take on the 1995 John Michael Montgomery smash “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” today on all platforms. Listen to the song and pre-save the album HERE. “Sold” is one of 16 tracks featured on Every Hat Is a Cowboy Hat…, Stevens' debut album for Verge Records, due out May 13. Stevens will also release “Missin' You”—a moving tribute to his grandfather—to radio next month. This album is the culmination of years of effort for Stevens. The East Tennessee native has long found himself walking two very different paths, making the decision more than a decade ago to attend law school while also envisioning a career in the music business. “Though I'm blessed to suit up and do my thing as a civil rights attorney, my dream has always been to support my family with my music,” Stevens says. Each of the 16 tracks on Every Hat Is a Cowboy Hat… reveals a little more of Stevens' multifaceted artistry. From the quirky, up-tempo “New Boots,” the sultry “Neon on Ya,” and the catchy “I Feel Good” to the poignant “Missin' You” and sweetly romantic “Come Home to Me,” Stevens confidently explores country, southern rock, rap and R&B to develop his signature style. After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law, Stevens hit a turning point: “I remember starting a job right after graduation and thinking that it was just the most boring thing ever,” he muses. “I looked at the girl I was dating (who is now my wife, Katie), and I said, ‘Look, I don't want to lose you. But I've got to go to Nashville.'” Seven years of marriage and three kids later, Stevens finds himself successfully multitasking while balancing two careers and a family of five.Listen to Scott on Spotify: Click HereScott's Website: Click HereBuy Merch from Scott: Click HereContent JefeA podcast that helps online business owners make better content and more money.Listen on: Apple Podcasts Spotify
Dominick Muzio is the guest on the podcast today. Dominick is the frontman of Las Vegas' most popular alternative rockers, Wicked Garden. He has momentarily struck out on his own to record his first solo mini-album, 'Candy at a Funeral.' Setting up that solo outing is today's release of first single, “Special Thing,” a high caliber alt pop number written when Dominick was just 18 years old. “It was initially an acoustic song,” Muzio muses, “but when Jason and I played around with the arrangement, we came a across a Cure-type vibe and went with it. I made some lyrical changes, which made the subject matter much darker than originally written. It started as a song about infatuation with someone who's unattainable, but after the changes, it morphed into a song of possession and control.”“Special Thing” – along with the rest of the mini-album - was produced by Jason Constantine at Constantine Studios in Las Vegas and is available on the ToneHouse label, which Jason co-owns with Armored Saint guitarist, Jeff Duncan. “I decided to go in and record some demos that really didn't fit the Wicked Garden mold,” Muzio says. “There are a few songs here I've kicked around for years along with some I wrote quite recently that I felt I just needed to record to get them out of my head. When we were finished recording, Jason and Jeff asked if I'd be interested in releasing them through ToneHouse. We discussed it and it was a no-brainer."Candy at a Funeral is set for release in August and will feature five songs in total. “Special Thing” hit digital platforms earlier this month and can be purchased on iTunes and streamed on Spotify. Buckcherry's Billy Rowe is the guest on today's podcast. In addition to his recent work in Buckcherry, Billy played rhythm and slide guitar in Jetboy, one of the pioneer acts of the incredible scene that spawned Guns N'Roses and Poison. Bad timing and plain bad luck meant that despite major label albums, Jetboy never scaled the heights of their peers. But stadium rock's loss is the guitar player's gain. After decades as a touring musician and tech, Billy Rowe had shredded guitars and rebuilt them over and over. Recognizing that he had plenty to offer the world of guitar making, Billy launched Rock N Roll Relics in 2005, driven by a passion to hand-build nothing less than all-round amazing guitars. His guitars are seen around the necks of Green Day's Billy Joe Armstrong, Gilby Clarke (Guns N Roses), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), and Bruce Kulick, just to name a few.Check out Buckcherry on Tour next year in 2022: https://buckcherry.com/tour/Rock N Roll Relics Guitars: http://www.rocknrollrelics.net/Don't forget to take your good time with you!
