This week Drew Miles and the Tricer Podcast host Dane Williams, co-founder of the Hard Side Hydration product. Drew has confessed many times the Hard Side bottle is one of his favorite pieces of gear from the last season. Dane recounts the idea originated during their own hunting experiences when they faced issues with water bladders. The product was developed after collaborations and brainstorming sessions, utilizing 3D printing to create a practical solution for hunters. On this show Drew, explains how this product combines the advantages of traditional water bottles and bladders, which is particularly useful for hunters in arid regions. Drew recounted his positive experience using the adapter, especially when a fellow hunter needed to borrow water during a trip. If you have ever had a water bladder bust on you then you understand the “why”, if you haven't experienced a busted bladder, you will. This interview is number 51 for Key Exchanges in the 901 and with 50 interviews in the books it seems like now is as good a time as any to formally introduce myself and share a little bit of my story with some of the loyal listeners of the show. In this episode we have the first ever return of a previous guest as our very first person to sit across the table from me (Shannan McWaters) is back but this time she gets to ask the questions and I have to sit uncomfortably without control of my own show. I could give you a write-up of who I am and why you should be interested, but at this point in the description, you're probably in or out anyways. If you need to reach Dane to help you or a client with any of your insurance needs or if you need to reach the show for any reason, you can email him at dwilliams@shoemakerins.com or call or text his cell at 901-831-5991.
