Dougy goes to Phil for some relationship advice at the beginning of the episode. After he refused to let his girl bring her under-aged friend into the bar he works at, they get into a fight and Phil gives him his advice. They then transition into Phil's life after college and how the system lied to him after he followed the program and rules. He opens up about his love life and how his friends pushed him out over the years. Phil then talks about the passion he once had for science and how Dougy was a spoiled child.
