Did your vision die because you acted too late? No one's proud that they missed an opportunity to grow with God. That's why it's a prophetic weakness. Instead of dwelling on all your “I was going to do it, I promise” moments, we give you three cures for inactivity. Where were these 10 years ago when I was a young prophet who still believed everyone wanted ministry? WRONG! The Cure for Inaction Let it go. You can't go back and fix your mistakes.

Inspiration Text: And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. *Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?*” Esther 4:13-14 NKJV
Esther 4:13-14 13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” 1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
Esther 4:13-14 [NKJV] 13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” 2 Corinthians 4:18 [NKJV] 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Leviticus 6:12 [NKJV] 12 And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Acts 6:3 [NKJV] Therefore, brethren, look ye out among you for seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
Mordechai responds to Esther: “Do not think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews by being in the king’s palace. For if you will remain silent at this time, relief and salvation will come to the Jews from another source, and you and the house of your father will be lost. And who knows if it is not for just such a time that you reached this royal position.”
"Mommy, who is the bad guy?" This is a question one of our younger members asked his mom this week. Have you figured out who the bad guy is in Esther? Do you typically look for the hero and the villain in the stories we read? This week as we read the third chapter of Esther, we see what happens when two people harden their hearts and how disastrous outcomes can follow, yet God is still in control. As you prepare for worship this today, ask yourself—have you ever had a Haman and Mordecai interaction?
Hello and lovely Saturday morning to you in the name of Jesus. I'm sure you're taking sometime to rest and reflect. We're gradually getting to the end of the month of August. Very soon we'll enter September, October, November and December and 2021 is beckoning. May our eyes that have seen the year this far see the end of the year and many more in the name of Jesus, as God crowns the year for us with His goodness and our paths drop with fatness. Esther 4 :13 -14 (TLB) This was Mordecai's reply to Esther: “Do you think you will escape there in the palace when all other Jews are killed? If you keep quiet at a time like this, God will deliver the Jews from some other source, but you and your relatives will die; what's more, who can say but that God has brought you into the palace for just such a time as this?” Do you know sometimes crisis is a call to act courageously? Most times a lot of us run from crisis, we avoid crisis but if you go through the bible in many situations, crisis was God's way of calling us to rise to a situation and change the story of our lives. This is how the life of Esther changed forever. There was a man called Haman, he was an executive in the cabinet of the King and he wanted to kill all the Jews, he had presented a law which the king had signed it unknowingly, on a certain day all the Jews had to be killed. Mordecai, Esther's uncle he sent a message to her saying "Esther there's a law that on a certain day all the Jews are to be killed I need you to talk to the king about it"; Esther said "I can't talk to the king. You know the law, you can't talk to the king except he calls the person. He's not called me in over a month. If I go into his presence without being called I will be killed." Her uncle said listen if you don't do something about this situation it's going to end up terrible for you. Your complacency will destroy you. It will not only destroy you, it will destroy your family, it will destroy everything about you and God will ultimately find a way of rescuing His people. You see, no matter the challenges we face as we go after our new start , understand that in the face of those challenges, in the midst of those crisis are seeds of miracles, seeds that transform our lives. God puts things in those challenges that make a demand on His ability on the inside of us and as we respond it just releases God's grace and rewrites the story of our lives forever. I don't know what the challenge is, I don't know what you're going through now but see it as God's invitation. See it as God's call for you to act courageously. I pray you'll not be complacent and as you act courageously watch what God will do. And like Mordecai said who knows if God has brought you into this situation to allow this thing to happen so that you can be there and release mighty abilities on the inside of you. You are here in that situation for such the time as this. May God give you this wisdom and courage to act courageously in the name of Jesus. God bless you and have a lovely day.
Het Beloved, in this episode, I'm sharing the audio from the Facebook live conversation I had with my friends. Yesterday I had a moment of sadness that led to doing a Facebook live to ask other people how they are doing. The live video and the comments that followed brought clarity, actionable solutions, and support. If you are part of the body of Christ you have a responsibility to respond to injustice no matter how uncomfortable it may make you feel and to do it with love and compassion. As God's daughters, we are to be the bridges that bring people together. Bring the solution that leads to healing and justice and do so with love as Christ witnesses. Saturday morning in prayer at 8:30 AM got to go before the King to change the edict that allows injustice to continue against Black people and for God to expose those who stand for justice and those who oppose it with silence.
