Here's a sobering reality: China could bring America's military to its knees — without firing a single shot. The weapon? Rare earth minerals. These hidden elements power everything from fighter jets and submarines to missiles and drones. If Beijing pulled the plug tomorrow, Western stockpiles would run dry within weeks — and rebuilding them wouldn't be easy. Now, with China tightening export controls and Trump hitting back with 100% tariffs, the global standoff is escalating fast. This week on Battle Lines, Samuel Olsen from Sibylline and Neha Mukherjee from Benchmark Minerals expose the fight beneath the surface — the battle for the world's rare earths.► Sign up to our most popular newsletter, From the Editor. In pickup artist culture, men see women's natural defenses as tests and shields. Pass these “shit tests” and break through her “bitch shields,” and you win her love and affection. But women aren't sitting around scheming elaborate tests or plotting shields. They're responding to lived experiences, not imagined battle plans. That's why these pickup artist tricks, while they can work in the short-term, never result in lasting love and connection. They're based on lies, drenched in sexual shame, and actively work against your goals of lasting connection. The solution is much harder - it means reframing her defenses as your projections. It means taking ownership of how shame makes you react. And it's about seeing her defenses as invitations for patience, curiosity, and compassion. This path is much harder. But it's the only path towards real connection. In today's show, you'll discover why pickup artist culture is consumed with shame, how to reframe her defenses as invitations, and how to choose a different, more effective response that's not based in your neediness. Listen now. Show Highlights Include: How labeling a woman's action as “tests” or “shields” exposes your insecurity and fear (and how to conquer these feelings that deprive you of connection) (3:50) Why following pickup artist advice, while it might get you dates, will never forge a strong and healthy long-term relationship (5:31) The "Psychoanalytic Lens” secret that allows you to strip away your neediness when she pulls back or acts distant (12:42) How to build your emotional muscles and prevent her defensive parts from triggering you (13:15) Why “seeing the shame on both sides” allows men and women to connect with and understand each other on a deeper level (19:14) The “Battle Within” mindset shift you must make if you want a long and fulfilling relationship (20:33) For more about David Tian, go here: https://www.davidtianphd.com/about/ Feeling like success in one area of life has come at the expense of another? TYRION ARRESTED BY LADY STARK!! Game of Thrones Full Episode Reaction Watch Along / thereelrejects Game of Thrones Season 1, Episodes 1 & 2 Reaction: • GAME OF THRONES Season 1, Episodes 1 & 2 R... Support The Channel By Getting Some REEL REJECTS Apparel! https://www.rejectnationshop.com/ With Season 3 of House of the Dragon on the Horizon, Tara & Andrew are back to continue their Game of Thrones Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Breakdown, & Spoiler Review! Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon return to Westeros as they react to and review Game of Thrones Season 1, Episodes 3 (“Lord Snow”) & 4 (“Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things”). Based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels, HBO's hit fantasy drama takes viewers deep into the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, where power, betrayal, and family honor shape the game of thrones itself. In Episode 3, “Lord Snow,” Ned Stark (Sean Bean – The Lord of the Rings, Troy) arrives in King's Landing to serve as Hand of the King, meeting the cunning Small Council including Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish (Aidan Gillen – The Wire), Lord Varys (Conleth Hill – Suits), and Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony). Jon Snow (Kit Harington – Pompeii, Eternals) struggles to find his place at the Wall, but with Tyrion Lannister's (Peter Dinklage – X-Men: Days of Future Past, Cyrano) guidance, begins to show compassion toward fellow recruits like Samwell Tarly (John Bradley). Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke – Terminator Genisys, Me Before You) asserts her strength in Essos as tensions rise with her brother Viserys (Harry Lloyd). Episode 4, “Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things,” expands the world further as Tyrion bonds with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) after his fall, and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) shows his conflicted loyalty to House Stark. At the Eyrie, we learn more of the Lannisters' political machinations, while Daenerys takes her first true steps toward independence as a Khaleesi. The famous “broken things” speech between Tyrion and Bran highlights one of the show's recurring themes: outsiders finding strength in their differences. From Ned Stark's honorable path in a city of liars, to Daenerys' growing confidence and Jon Snow's evolution on the Wall, these episodes set the stage for many of the epic arcs that would define the entire series. About this episode (#406): In this episode, Jack and Jeremy revisit the question: should AI be trusted to write and send first-line personalization in cold outreach? It's late Q2 2025, and AI tools are smarter than ever. But are they smart enough to handle something as nuanced (and reputation-sensitive) as email intros without human review? The guys go deep on how far the tech has come, what's still risky, and where it might actually make sense in your workflow. Key topics discussed in this episode: Why letting AI send unchecked intro lines is still a risky move How the quality of personalization has improved and where it still breaks Why buyer awareness of AI is making personalization harder, not easier The evolving role of the first line (and why the PS line might be safer) What makes a smart AI prompt and how to reduce hallucination risk Testing AI-generated personalization vs. handcrafted lines When AI might make sense for high-volume outbound vs. niche campaigns This episode is a no-fluff look at what AI can and can't do for outbound personalization in 2025. Jack and Jeremy break down the tradeoffs, the risks, and where smart filters and prompts can actually help without wrecking your reply rates. It appears that the government is headed toward a shutdown, and the media is hard at work to spin the shutdown as the Republicans' fault. Glenn and Stu explain why Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) needs a government shutdown. Glenn theorizes as to why Secretary of War Pete Hegseth called up all the top generals to Washington, D.C. Hegseth made it clear that wokeness is leaving the U.S. military, as everybody who enters the military will do so under the same metrics. Glenn gets personal about his faith and beliefs after seeing an offensive post on X. BlazeTV host of “Fearless” Jason Whitlock joins to discuss why he believes the NFL choosing Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny to headline the next Super Bowl halftime show is an attack on Christianity. According to Joy Reid, fascism is now just basic conservative principles like cutting back on government regulations and your family inheriting your wealth. Glenn's chief researcher, Jason Buttrill, joins to break down Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's meeting with top military officials. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The other night, I told you the Democratic Socialists of America are “salting” workplaces by getting their members jobs so they can agitate to form unions. Watch the clip here.In this clip, the Democratic Socialists of America are planning to use the teachers unions to cripple the economy by going on strike. Of course, they also want to indoctrinate the next generation of socialists activists. Decode The Left with Karlyn Borysenko is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. For the last three weeks, I embedded myself inside the Democratic Socialists of America's SALT training. What I discovered is one of the most dangerous strategies the far left is running right now, and no one is talking about it.Salting is when socialists deliberately take jobs at places like Amazon, Starbucks, grocery stores, airlines, auto plants, and even schools, not because they care about the work, but because their entire purpose is to organize and build unions from the inside. I sat through their sessions. I watched as they laid out networks of jobs across the country, mentoring and training their people to infiltrate strategic industries. And it's all leading somewhere: May Day 2028. That's the date they're planning a massive general strike — a coordinated walkout across education, logistics, service industries, airlines, and auto manufacturing. The goal is simple: cripple society and prove they have the power to do it.This isn't a joke. Too many on the right still believe socialists don't work or are lazy. The truth is the opposite: they've captured the unions, they're expanding their reach, and they are building a revolutionary infrastructure years in advance.I'm sounding the alarm now, because if no one pays attention, we're going to wake up to a crisis that has been in plain sight all along. That's why I'm covering this at DecodeTheLeft.com and on my Substack — so you know what's coming before it hits. This is a public episode.
