In Part 2, the spotlight shifts to the dramatic succession struggle that followed the final days of Dovid Hamelech. The episode begins with Adoniyahu's attempt to seize the throne and the efforts of Beniyahu and other loyalists who remained faithful to Dovid's chosen successor. As the crisis unfolds, Dovid acts decisively, ordering that Shlomo be publicly anointed as king. The podcast explores this historic coronation and the final instructions Dovid delivers to his son, providing guidance on leadership, justice, and the unfinished matters that would shape the future of the kingdom. The second half follows the challenges facing the newly crowned King Shlomo. When Adoniyahu launches another bid for power, Beniyahu is entrusted with carrying out the king's judgment, demonstrating both his loyalty and his willingness to enforce difficult decisions. The episode also examines the banishment of Evyasar HaKohen, marking the end of a priestly dynasty and the fulfillment of earlier prophecies. Finally, attention turns to Yoav, who realizes that his past actions have left him vulnerable under the new regime. Fearing retribution, he flees to the altar seeking refuge, setting the stage for one of the most consequential confrontations of Shlomo's reign and further cementing Beniyahu's role as both guardian of the kingdom and servant of justice.00:00 - Intro00:27 - Rebellion of Adoniyahu08:03 - Beniyahu Ben Yehoyadah and the Loyalists10:08 - Dovid Hamelech has Shlomo Annointed as King18:36 - King Dovid's Final Instructions to King Shlomo21:37 - Adoniyahu Rebels Again26:07 - Adoniyahu is Punished by Beniyahu29:24 - King Shlomo Banishes Evyasar HaKohen35:02 - Yoav Fears King Shlomo and Flees to the Altar

Hiring the Best Hand: Why You Need the Spirit on Your Outfit In this deep dive into John 16, Kevin Weatherby explores the Final Instructions of Jesus and the true role of the Holy Spirit. If your faith feels like a field of thorns, it's time to look at the blueprints. This isn't about a mystical force; it's about a Person—the Master Instructor assigned to help you survive the winter and grow what God has planted in you. The Blueprints for a Firm Foundation: Belief vs. Faith: Belief is what you think between your ears; Faith is what you do with your hands. God saves the believer, but He rewards the faithful. The Holy Spirit's Three Roles: Learn how the Spirit convicts the world of sin, guides us into righteousness, and warns us of the judgment to come. Building Your Inner Church: Your only true purpose is to grow the "mustard seed" God gave you. We discuss how to clear the thorns of repentance and replace them with a foundation built on Christ. Spiritual Gifts: Understanding that your gifts aren't for your benefit—they are the tools you use to help others build their church. Whether you are a cowboy on the ranch or a business owner in the city, understanding biblical repentance and the difference between "worldly Christianity" and an abiding relationship with Jesus is critical. The closing verses of Paul's letter to Titus emphasize the vital importance of practical Christian service, communal accountability, and enduring spiritual unity within the church. Paul, writing from Nicopolis as a strategic base for future missions, urges Titus to prioritize good works, hospitality, and mutual support—especially for traveling missionaries like Apollos and Zenos—reflecting the church's mission to embody Christ's love in tangible ways. Central to this call is the principle that genuine faith produces action: caring for one another, bearing burdens, and serving the least as if serving Christ Himself, as illustrated in Matthew 25. The epistle concludes with a powerful benediction, underscoring that grace—God's unmerited favor—is the foundation and goal of all Christian endeavor, calling believers to live not for self but for the glory of God and the flourishing of His kingdom.
Pastor Danny Long speaks on Paul's final instructions to the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28, which provide essential guidelines for living a life that honors God while awaiting Jesus' return. He addresses three key relationships: spiritual leaders, each other, and God.
The Letter of Jude E6 — In the final nine verses of his letter, Jude transitions from warning about corrupt members to instructing the faithful. In so many words, he encourages them to keep pressing on as the living temple of God's Spirit and love. Jude also guides them in how to care for the doubting and deceived in their community, while taking necessary caution for their own holiness. And he concludes with confidence in God's ability to protect the Church and make them stand as blameless priests, all to the praise, honor, and majesty of God. The Holy Spirit working through the church is the restrainer of the Beast system today. When the church is gone they will have their utopian dream……. that will turn out to be their greatest nightmare. But how do we live in light of Christ in these days? Paul left us some instructions.

In the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Judge Arun Subramanian delivered final jury instructions that laid out the legal framework the jurors must follow as they deliberate on the charges. He emphasized the presumption of innocence, reminding jurors that the burden of proof rests entirely on the government and that Combs is not required to prove anything or call any witnesses. The judge explained that the prosecution must prove each element of every charged crime beyond a reasonable doubt, and that speculation, bias, or media narratives have no place in the jury room. He cautioned jurors to evaluate the evidence objectively, including the credibility of witnesses, and warned against letting emotions, celebrity, or public opinion sway their verdict.Subramanian also gave detailed explanations of the legal definitions behind each charge Combs faces, including the alleged predicate acts tied to sex trafficking, conspiracy, and obstruction. He clarified that even if jurors find certain behavior distasteful or immoral, it is not criminal unless it meets the specific legal thresholds outlined. Jurors were instructed to consider each count separately, and not to infer guilt on one charge simply because they believe guilt on another. Additionally, he reiterated the importance of unanimous agreement for any verdict and instructed them not to discuss the case with anyone outside the jury room, nor consume any media coverage about it. The instructions closed with a reminder that the rule of law—not fame, wealth, or notoriety—governs the courtroom.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.628425.424.0.pdf

Woodland Campus | Pastor Jonathan explains foundational beliefs that we must have as Christians with all of the events going on in this current time.
Welcome to our final lesson in the Book of Malachi! We explore the myriad questions posed in the book, that feel a bit like a courtroom-like dialogue between God and the Israelites. The timeless nature of Malachi's message resonates across eras by highlighting Israel's pattern of unfaithfulness and connecting it to our own lives. The dense concentration of questions throughout Malachi, up to chapter 3, starkly contrasts with chapter 4 which contains no questions, signaling a shift from inquiry to God's final judgment. Acknowledging God's love, as outlined in Malachi, encourages us to see the ongoing work of God in our lives and the world around us. The Israelites questioned God's love and justice, despised worship practices, and failed to honor God in their daily lives. The answers to the questions in the book of Malachi reveal their shortcomings and guide us towards a faithful relationship with God. The book of Malachi further explores the theme of justice versus grace; as Scripture teaches us, true justice is met only through the grace offered by Jesus. Repentance and confession are essential to understand God's grace. Justice is found through Jesus. The crucial question “How shall we return to You, Lord?” encapsulates the hope of returning to God by recognizing His unchanging nature and engaging with scripture. Stephanie discusses the path to God through spiritual disciplines, offering a free video course, "Pathways to God's Presence,” to deepen this understanding. Make sure to grab your full video course at https://www.gospelspice.com/pathways In the context of the intertestamental period, Malachi's teachings reverberated through four hundred years until John the Baptist's emergence. Stephanie reminds us of historical insights, drawing parallels with significant events and figures like Alexander the Great and the Roman conquest, to contextualize Malachi's message within the fabric of time. Through Malachi 4, God promises ultimate justice and restoration, symbolized by the "sun of righteousness." Here, the imagery of wings is a protective symbol throughout Scripture, which we will compare it to Jesus' teachings. The notion of God's impending judgment is juxtaposed with the promise of protection and healing for those who revere God's name. In the context of the upcoming silence of four hundred years, God's last words offer a solemn warning blended with hope. Through Jesus, who embodied the curse and offered grace, our path was paved for redemption. Malachi invites us to ponder whether we stand beneath the protective wings of the Savior, or risk facing the blazing sun of righteousness without His grace. Malachi today challenges us to live as messengers of faith, rooted in grace through Christ, and eager to spread God's love. Prayer is a mystery. Why would a conversation with a human have any influence on God's eternal, sovereign plan? It defies logic, and beckons love. How can God, the Almighty Lord of Hosts, be this close, this personal? It defies understanding, and beckons involvement. But, lack of time, inspiration, and discipline, combined with the ruthless tyranny of our busy lives, push prayer to the periphery, to the “one day I'll get to it” pile. And yet, we can excel at what we endeavor to undertake. So, why isn't prayer more of a spiritual priority? Could we develop a mindset around prayer that made it attractive, inspiring, even maybe delightful? What if we attuned our spiritual ears to listen to God, and our spiritual eyes to see His provision? As an unassuming student, I'm going to humbly offer to share the little I have learned from others about the joy of prayer. I will give us theology, practical tips, and useful resources, sharing what works for me as we, together, learn to pray. If you find prayer intimidating, or if your lack of prayer makes you feel guilty or “less than,” then this is the place for you! If you have been a student of prayer for many years, this is the place for you too! If you have breath in your lungs, then prayer can become one of the deepest joys of your day. Don't miss out! A PERSPECTIVE ABOUT PRAYER To pray is to believe that God not only hears, but that He responds. It is to stand in the gap for a broken world, wielding the authority of Christ, empowered by the Spirit, and trusting in the goodness of the Father. The question is not whether prayer works, but whether we are willing to pray the kinds of prayers that invite God's Kingdom into the darkest places of the earth—and of our own hearts. We may never fully understand the mechanics of prayer, or how it intersects with God's sovereignty, but we are not called to understand everything. We are called to be faithful. And faithfulness means showing up—in prayer, in persistence, in expectation. So today, let us pray not only for the comfort of our hearts, but for the transformation of the world. Let us take our place as image-bearers, co-laborers, and co-heirs. Let us believe that God is still listening—and still acting. Because He is. There's only one way to find out what might happen when we truly pray like this. Let's begin. THE MINDSET BEHIND THIS COURSE Before we begin, let me tell you the obvious: I don't really know how to pray. I'm a humble student and absolute beginner at the holy endeavor that is prayer. So, this course isn't really about what I've learned, or any wisdom I might have gathered. But, I've sat at the feet of many prayer warriors over the decades, through books and teachings. So, I'll share what I learned from them. Humility is going to be our primary heart posture! With each lesson, I will offer a few thoughts, practices, and ideas – with much humility, and not taking myself too seriously. I will also share her favorite books and resources about prayer. FInally, I will introduce you to some of the most influential prayer warriors of our history as the Body of Christ. Most importantly, I will invite YOU to pray! Learning to pray comes from praying. Our humble ambition is to inspire you to pray, and to give you a few tips on how to do that. Then, it's up to you! Prayer is a lifelong endeavor. Let's make it delightful together! So, let's get started. You are invited to join us on the Gospel Spice Prayer Bible Study, titled "The heart behind prayer" starting September 20, 2025!
