Do you get an uncomfortable flutter when you know you need to have a tricky chat with someone on your team? Managing people - whether employees, contractors, or VAs - often means facing difficult conversations. It's easy to worry you'll get it wrong, or that conflict will brew. But what if you could handle these chats with confidence, clarity, and kindness… and actually strengthen your business in the process? This week, I'm joined by Amy Christopherson, the brains behind Grounded HR, with over 15 years' experience in people management and HR. Amy's passion is supporting small business owners to build thriving, connected teams, even if you're starting with just one hire. Amy brings practical advice, plenty of real-world stories, and a whole lot of common sense. In this episode we're tackling some of the questions that can keep business owners up at night: Why does one underperforming team member have such a big impact on small businesses? What makes hiring so scary… and how can you reframe those worries to take action? How do you spot the difference between a great team member who needs time to get up to speed, and someone who just isn't the right fit? What can you do to stop small problems from turning into big ones, especially when it comes to communication? How do you approach those difficult conversations, so everyone walks away feeling respected - and your business actually gets stronger? If you've ever hesitated to delegate, or struggled with giving feedback, you're going to get loads of actionable ideas and reassurance here. Amy's advice proves that managing people doesn't have to be something we dread. Tune in to learn how to lead your team with more ease and fewer headaches! In The Ten Commandments: Do Not Steal, Aaron Christopherson teaches that stealing goes far beyond possessions—it's taking what God didn't give. Drawing from Joshua 7, Malachi 3, and John 10, he reveals how we can steal from God, others, and ourselves by robbing trust, time, worship, and obedience. Every act of theft reflects a lack of trust in God's provision. To radically love God is to trust Him fully and refuse to take what isn't ours—choosing repentance over repetition.

In today's message, Aaron Christopherson, a staff member at Mercy Culture Church, delivers a powerful teaching focused on one of the Ten Commandments: “Do Not Steal.” Drawing his primary text from Joshua 7:2–13, Christopherson unpacks not only the biblical definition of stealing but also its spiritual and relational implications. He explains that stealing goes beyond simply taking physical possessions; it includes robbing others—or God—of what is rightfully theirs, whether it's time, honor, trust, or worship. Throughout the message, he breaks down the topic into three key areas: Three Ways People Steal from God: Ten Ways We Steal from Each Other: Three Characteristics of a Thief: This message serves as both a convicting reminder and a call to repentance, urging believers to examine their lives in light of God's standard and to walk in honesty, integrity, and reverence toward God and others.

For over 50 years, For the Strength of Youth has been a guide for generations of Latter-day Saint youth. I always keep a copy in my pocket, and I share it with people who are curious about our standards. It has been updated and refreshed to better cope with the challenges and temptations of our day. The new version of For the Strength of Youth is available online in 50 different languages and will also be available in print. It will be a significant help for making choices in your life. Please embrace it as your own and share it with your friends. This new version of For the Strength of Youth is subtitled A Guide for Making Choices. To be very clear, the best guide you can possibly have for making choices is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the strength of youth. So the purpose of For the Strength of Youth is to point you to Him. It teaches you eternal truths of His restored gospel—truths about who you are, who He is, and what you can accomplish with His strength. It teaches you how to make righteous choices based on those eternal truths.13 It's also important to know what For the Strength of Youth does not do. It doesn't make decisions for you. It doesn't give you a “yes” or “no” about every choice you might ever face. For the Strength of Youth focuses on the foundation for your choices. It focuses on values, principles, and doctrine instead of every specific behavior. The Lord, through His prophets, has always been guiding us in that direction. He is pleading with us to “increase [our] spiritual capacity to receive revelation.”14 He is inviting us to “hear Him.”15 He is calling us to follow Him in higher and holier ways.16 And we are learning in a similar way every week in Come, Follow Me. What do you get when 800 billionaires hoard more wealth than half the U.S. population combined? A rigged tax system and a society that leaves millions behind. In this episode, longtime tax and budget expert Sarah Christopherson joins us to expose the political and moral cost of extreme wealth inequality. She explains how billionaires use loopholes, lobbying, and misleading populist messaging to avoid paying taxes and how those choices fuel poverty, hunger, housing shortages, and underfunded schools. We also explore why promises like “no tax on tips” often do more harm than good and how slick messaging masks a dangerous reality: Tax cuts for the rich are often paid for by service cuts for the rest of us. Alongside Sarah, we're joined by Jarrett Smith, Senior Tax Lobbyist at NETWORK, who adds key context on upcoming legislation, policy threats, and what advocates need to know right now. If you've ever wondered why billionaires pay less in taxes than you—or why it feels like everything is underfunded except for corporations—this conversation is for you. Aaron Christopherson's sermon, "The Love of Money," warns against prioritizing wealth over God. Using scripture, he highlights how loving money leads to spiritual struggles like greed, anxiety, and lack of generosity. Key signs include not tithing, obsessing over wealth, and withholding from God. True faith is shown through radical generosity, trusting that God provides. The message challenges believers to ask: Is money keeping me from fully following God?
