Genesis 15 | Greater Than We Can Imagine - Abram had doubts about the goodness of God's promises, but God assured him that His promises were better than Abram could even imagine.Message by Anthony Webb, Pastor Ariah Park Baptist Church
This summer, we're journeying through the life of Abrahamβone of the most significant and human stories in all of Scripture. Through divine encounters, setbacks, and slow formation, God shapes Abraham not just into a man of faith, but into a partner in His redemptive mission. At the heart of this series is a question:What does it mean to be discipled into partnership with God?From leaving comfort behind to learning trustβ¦From receiving promises to waiting on themβ¦From faltering in fear to walking in faithβ¦Abraham's story shows us that true discipleship isn't about perfectionβit's about transformation. Each week, we'll explore a different chapter in his journeyβhighlighting not only the tests and triumphs of Abraham, but the faithfulness of a God who draws near, forms His people, and invites them to participate in His purposes. This week, Pastor Warren Williams teaches out of Genesis 15.WEBSITETo learn more about Redemption Tempe, find ways to get involved,Β or opportunities to serve, visit our website: https://tempe.redemptionaz.com.OUR APPDownload our app https://pushpay.com/get?handle=redemp...OR text "tempe app" to 77977STAY CONNECTEDFacebook:Β Β / redemptiontempe.Β .Twitter:Β Β / redemptiontem Β Instagram:Β Β / redemptiontempe..Β .GIVINGEverything we have is a gift from the Lord because He owns it all. Genesis 15 - Pastor John Wilkerson - Sunday Morning, June 15, 2025 by First Baptist Church of Hammond
We all experience doubts at different stages in our lives. Our doubts may change our perceptions of God, but they don't change who God is. God is bigger than our doubts, God is better than our doubts, and He will always remain faithful to us. He is deserving of our faith and trust.Β We upload our message only version to our church app. If you would like to view this week's entire worship service you can find it by clicking the available link.

In Hebrews 6:12 we read that "faith and patience inherit the promisesββor in other words, trusting in God means waiting. In this message Jake Chambers, pastor of Local Church, looks to the story of Abram and Sarah in Genesis 16 to unpack the messy and frequently painful fallout of taking matters into our own hands when we feel God isn't coming through for usβbut also God's incredible patience with us even when we're impatient with him.

One of the most significant moments of Abraham's life happens in Genesis 15. God made an agreement with Abraham called a covenantβand He promised him He would fulfill it no matter what. In this message, Conner Dill, a member of Thrive Harbor, explains why the covenant with Abraham is so earth-shaking and how it reveals to us the character of God.
Abram stared upward, into the endless expanse of the night sky.Β He was still childless and feeling the weight of doubt pressing harder than ever. Had God forgotten him? Had the promise slipped away? And then, in the darkness, the voice returnedβnot with rebuke, but reassurance: βFear not, Abram. I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.β Abram believed, and God counted it to him as righteousness.Β Β The Rev. Nate Hill, pastor of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Winchester, TX, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Genesis 15.Β Genesis isn't just the start of the Bible; it's the foundation of everything. Creation, sin, judgment, grace, covenant, and promise all take root in this remarkable book. The stories are ancient, but their truths are eternal. In this new series from Thy Strong Word, Pastor Phil Booe and his guests walk verse by verse through Genesis, exploring how God reveals Himself as Creator, Judge, and Redeemer. From the grandeur of the cosmos to the struggles of ordinary families, Genesis introduces us to a God who speaks, acts, and keeps His promises. So, whether you've read it a hundred times or are just now cracking it open for a serious look, this series will help you see Genesis with fresh eyesβand a deeper faith. Thy Strong Word, hosted by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Luverne, MN, reveals the light of our salvation in Christ through study of God's Word, breaking our darkness with His redeeming light. Each weekday, two pastors fix our eyes on Jesus by considering Holy Scripture, verse by verse, in order to be strengthened in the Word and be equipped to faithfully serve in our daily vocations. It started with petty rulers battling for control of trade routes and cities. Four kings from the east swept into the land, crushing everyone in their path. Five local kings rose to resist and lost. Abram's nephew Lot was caught up and carried away like plunder. Abram, armed with his 318 servants and a steadfast faith in God, sought to redeem his nephew, thus serving as a type of Christ. What followed was a story of battle, victory against impossible odds, and a meeting with the mysterious priest-king, Melchizedek, who brings bread, wine, and blessing and makes for the second Christ-type in the chapter.Β The Rev.
