Namaskar.In this episode, Lord Krishna responds to Arjun's question about what compels a person to sin and deviate from the path of salvation. Krishna explains that the root cause is either Kāma—desire or lust for anything—or Krodha—anger. Of the two, Kāma is the primary culprit, as unfulfilled desire inevitably gives rise to anger, which clouds judgment and destroys discernment.Krishna describes how these forces overpower the senses, the mind, and the intellect, and advises Arjun that true mastery begins with control over the senses.Krishna then reveals that this wisdom was first narrated to Surya, the Sun God. When Arjun questions how this is possible—since Surya predates Krishna—Krishna unveils the true nature of his being, transcending space and time, having manifested across all Yugas through various Avatars. This is where the iconic verse “Yadā Yadā Hi Dharmasya” is explained—whenever Dharma declines, the Divine takes form to restore it.The episode concludes with Krishna introducing the path of complete surrender, explaining that the fruit one receives aligns with the intent one approaches him with. In this interview, Dylan talks to professional runner, Hayden Hawks (HOKA). Hayden lives in Utah, but spends much of his summer with his family training in France. Injury took Hayden out of the Western States 100 in June, but he's feeling strong heading into UTMB. After two wins at CCC including the 2024 CCC, Hayden has performed better than almost anyone on these trails. He DNF'd at the 2019 UTMB, but has spent the past 6 years learning how to train and race here. Can he take the win on the full loop around the mountain this year? You may assume it's all about speed and pressure. Not this time. Norwegian runner, Abelone Lyng, put her own spin on the legend that is the DNT MASSIV TRAIL: 364 km, and just under 13,000 m vertical gain across four national parks in Norway: Breheimen, Jotunheimen, Skarvheimen, and Hardangervidda. In just 10-days, Abelone moved fast and light, unbroken, solo, yet utterly connected. She didn't chase a formal FKT. She chased what she coined a “Funnest Known Time.”
