Golf talk live from Dirty Martin's Place in Austin, Texas with hosts Ed Clements & Scotty Sayers. Guests this week are Skratch Golf and Full Swing's Dan Rapaport, UT head golf coach John Fields, former PGA Champion Mark Brooks, UT players Tommy Morrison, Christiaan Mass and Luke Potter.
With regular host – and temporary Michigan State fan – Burko off this week, Brentley seeks out former Alabama golfer Canon Claycomb as a fill-in for the annual March Madness episode. They first get into a myriad of results, from LSU's statement win at Pauma Valley to Wake Forest's 3-0 performance at Old Barnwell in a premier women's match-play event. Luke Potter's incident with Rory McIlroy is discussed, as is PGA Tour University Accelerated – specifically why Brentley doesn't see another 20-point guy after Jackson Koivun for some time. Then Duke's Ethan Evans, fresh off a runner-up at the General Hackler, joins from the team van (apologies on the audio, but it gives us character!). He fields a few golf questions before we get into the important business. Ethan is a ball-knower, and he certainly shows off his knowledge of college hoops. Canon carries McNeese's water as a potential Cinderella. And Brentley goes chalk (unsurprisingly). If you need some help filling out your brackets, there's some decent nuggets in here (starting at the 47-minute mark). Enjoy!
Fresh off the course at TPC Sawgrass after following Rory McIlroy for his three-hole playoff victory, Smylie Kaufman joins Charlie Hulme on his car ride home while recapping the 2025 PLAYERS Championship. Smylie covers everything from the wildly shifting weather conditions in Ponte Vedra Beach to what he saw from Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas as we look ahead to the first major of the year in less than a month.Smylie and Charlie also discuss some off-the-course storylines, including the back-and-forth between Collin Morikawa and the media, and bizarre exchange between Rory and Texas junior Luke Potter during a Tuesday practice round. This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features Arizona State University golfer Luke Potter. The game of golf was always something young Luke Potter was interested in because everything was on him. He was able to have a very successful junior career playing in local junior tours in the San Diego area to AJGA events as well as high level amateur events. He had a very impressive win at the 2020 Maridoe Amateur when he was only 16 years-old which Potter says is his most memorable moment from his junior career. With all his success came the west coast D1 universities wanting him badly and he committed to Arizona State before he started high school and is now in his freshmen year as a Sun Devil. He's off to a very solid start and has big goals of being one of the better players to come out of the program. Potter and the rest of the Sun Devils are looking forward to this coming semester as they contend for a National Championship and get revenge after last year. Enjoy the show!

The new single, ‘Should I Stay’ by Luke Potter will be released at the end of January 2016 (date TBC) “Should I Stay’ was written by Luke and his good friend, Casey Abrams (American Idol), during Casey’s visit to the UK in the spring of 2016. It was then recorded in LA and produced by Bleu (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert…). Casey provides backing vocals and ‘chanting’ on the song, which also features Joe Seiders (New ographers, Beat Club) playing keyboards and drums It’s a classic song and has already been selected to be the Record of the Day by the prestigious taste-making ROTD team The single will be preceded by a new video that is being filmed in London shortly. Luke will be releasing further new music and will be playing shows through much of next year including a major US tour…
UK-based singer/songwriter who plays guitar. He has gotten radio airplay on both coasts here in the United States, with video rotation at Hard Rock Cafes around the world. He has performed in the U.S., notably at the House of Blues in Orlando. He released a single approximately two months ago after having released another in June of this year and has another coming out in January. He has been writing in London and Sweden. I like to tell a story that sends a message often this is about being the person you want to be. I hope people will listen to my songs and be able to relate to them.Luke is a young artist / songwriter from the UK who’s starting to make a buzz with his songs. He cites “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls as the song that, the moment he heard it playing, made him realize he wanted to be a songwriter.Shortly after, at the age of 17, Luke picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time and started writing songs not only about love but also about growing up. Other artists that have influenced Luke include the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Jason Mraz, Fountains of Wayne, Goo Goo Dolls and the music of his father who played in bands way back when. “exciting hearing such a fresh new and exciting talent like Luke.I was thrilled with the reaction to my last single, ‘Do You Love Me (Yet)’. Aside from being Record of the Day here in the UK it got quite a bit of radio play out there and feedback to the video was amazing! Over 40k views and still getting plays! And it’s time for the follow-up so I’m releasing my new single, ‘Ready or Not’ on October 30th, 2015 through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc. It’s a song that I co-wrote and recorded in my home studio with my good friends from Stockholm, Marcus and Hjalmar, just a few months ago. The video was all shot in my home too! Anyway, it’s a bit different in that it’s pop rock with a bit of funk too. The video for the single will be out on October 26th. It’s a fun homage to my film adventure heroes. We had a lot of fun shooting it and thanks to all my friends that helped out and to Ross Dixon who directed it.I’m keeping pretty busy with lots of writing sessions in London for a new project, which I hope to tell you more about soon. And there’ll be another single out early in the New Year when I’ll be doing shows too!
