Why are Meth Damon, Dr. Strange, and Mary Jane Watson wandering around the Wild West together, and what does this all have to do with A Streetcar Named Desire? Listen to our discussion of The Power of the Dog to find out. But first, get our thoughts on the new Guardians of the Galaxy game, which already appears to be better than the Avengers game (not that it's a high bar to beat). We're really ramping up for Oscar season, and if you're ready for the biggest night in Hollywood you should be subscribed to Queer Quest to follow us on the journey to the red carpet. Find us wherever you found this episode!
Joined by returning guest Mia Sherry, the I Know That Face crew dive deep into the career of Meth Damon himself, Jesse Plemons! Beginning his career as a child actor Plemons came to attention as Landry in Friday Night Lights. He quickly followed that show's end in 2011 with a heel turn into one of Breaking Bad's most venomous villains, Todd Alquist. It's been quite a decade for Plemons with roles in Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master, Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, and Charlie Kaufman's I'm Thinking of Ending Things. His best-supporting work has come in the likes of Hostiles, Black Mass, Game Night, and Vice. Though his only lead role was in 2016's Other People he will re-team with Scorsese to play the main character in his epic western Killers of the Flower Moon which began shooting just a few days ago. Finally, a movie whose references sail above even the legendary Smax's head. Patil takes joy in pointing that out, and the bois try and make sense of a film that even the director hand-waves away as "either you get it, or you don't". ** DISCLAIMER ** Spoilers incoming. Although one might appreciate a freaking explanation even after they're finished with this movie. This week, the guys review 'The Post', a film by the inimitable Steven Spielberg. Find out why, for all it's perfection and despite the in-theater applause, it's only meh. The conversation covers everything from the cast (including Meth Damon) to political relations between governments and press. You're also in for Trailer Talk, Predictions for 'Hostiles', and a BRAND NEW section of listener comments and inquiries called Mailbag. What is it you think we do around here?

In which our heroes strip down into their tighty-whiteys, climb into an RV, call someone a bitch and cook up reasons why Breaking Bad needs their help. We look at Walt's downfall, the network being a big old baby by not killing babies and talk about the best place to do meth. Gabe wants Walt to suffer the hell of a thousand corpses, Duscher says the finale is all wrong, Zammit thinks it's too neat and Tom forgets the names of supporting characters. So sit back, wonder what happened to Huell and get haunted by Meth Damon in your nightmares as we break bad (but with words instead of drugs because we are not that cool). Want to launder some drug money? Head to http://www.patreon.com/sanspantsradio and for as little as $1 a month you can keep the DEA off your back. This episode we discuss Breaking Bad. The good and the bad. You haven't watched Breaking Bad? Where have you been? Well be warned it is spoiler heavy if you haven't watched the show. Have you watched ? Want a recap? Want to hear our opinions about it? Listen up.. Meth Damon is a creep.
Did we just watch one of the best hours of television, or The Best Ever? Jim and A.Ron debate that point as they struggle to process the absolutely incredible hour of television that was Breaking Bad episode 511, "Confessions". All the pieces were there the whole time, hidden in plain sight. But no one saw Walt's "confession" and the impact it would have. No one forsaw the consequences of a single boosted bag of weed. And what else is lurking out there, in two flash forwards and an enigmatic scene between Meth Damon and his Uncles of Anarchy? I sure as hell don't know, but can't wait to find out!
