In Episode Three I sit down with Mike Dorbyk in the lovely Bracebridge Hall Music and Events Space to talk all things live music. Mike is the owner of Bracebridge Hall and also the famous Monarch Tavern in Toronto's Little Italy hood, one of the cities oldest and most revered bars. Mike has been ingrained in the Toronto music scene for over 20 years having been an underground house promoter at the turn of the millennium on Queen Street West, a set up which lasted for 12 years before getting involved with The Monarch Tavern and most recently setting up Bracebridge Hall in May 2019.We talked about his love for going to shows at the CNE, his very fortunate Glastonbury experience, why he doesn't like amps turned up too high and the challenges that have faced the live music and events scene this year. Big thanks to Mike for his time and generosity. You can follow The Monarch Tavern @ http://www.instagram.com/monarchtavern and Bracebridge Hall @ http://www.instagram.com/bracebridgehall for all their updates, and if you're in either area you can always pop in for a pinthttp:www.instagram.com/onermoretunepodcast Cheers!Podcast Music by Slim GoodyPodcast Artwork and Audio Editing by Peter DoyleProduced by Ian ByrneSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/onemoretune)

ICYMI // Sportsfeld Announces A Live Show at The Monarch Tavern with special guests Blake Murphy, Sarah Jenkins, Resting on Pretty and Steve Sladkowski // TICKETSZubes and Jake are back just as the Toronto Maple Leafs put on a heck of a performance against the Lightning, but before we talk about that, let's talk about a Zamboni driver (08:30)! Over in Raptors land, Toronto's favourite team couldn't quite pull the trigger in a loss to the Bucks (25:15), but should we really care? Transitioning to more of the 'FELD' part of the program, we ask ourselves how great is Alphonso Davies (55:00) and what Fruit or Vegetable can be thrown the farthest (1:04:00) and finish off with our iconic, Sad or Not Sad. Thank you to Saulter Street Brewery for another great beer: It's About Bloody Time.

First, Big Announcement - Sportsfeld Announces A Live Show at The Monarch Tavern. On today's episode we chat about the Toronto Raptors and their 15 & 0 run and who they are projected to get in the first round of the playoffs. Speaking of playoffs, Zubes dreams of crushing frauds all the way to a second Larry O'Brien trophy. Over in Leafs land they found themselves a goalie to back up Freddie and Jake suggests making cap space by using LTIR again. The guys then turn the page and open up the mailbag and are asked who their favourite play-by-play announces are and rank the provinces. And of course we end off with everybody's favourite closer, Sad/Not Sad.
