He reminisced about going into his 20th season on the beat and working with the recently retired Jim Hughson. He talked about the news of the day and how expensive those preseason tickets are going to be. Dan talked about the pressures the OEL will face when there aren’t many that compare to players his age or contract size. Thinks the Canucks can’t afford another anchor contract to go south. He thinks the OEL hook is at the forefront of the Sedin impact in their new role. They will be a very valuable piece as a conduit between management and players. Talked about how Travis Green feels going into the season and that he would have liked a lot of players GM JB brought in.
