This week the guys answered some great answers on race fuel, horsepower, and more! Kate also expressed her gratefulness for prepping in the case of zombicron. Those supplies will definitely come in handy in the coming months. QUESTIONS ASKED ON THE SHOW Good afternoon from Marion NC. Who would y'all recommend to rebuild a set of Afco shocks? 602 on asphalt with a 6400rpm chip. Is it wasting power to be on the limiter before the corners? How often should you bleed brakes and clutch? Would changing the 602 valve springs to something around 120 lbs of seat pressure improve engine performance and would it be ok on the camshaft? Carb question.. engine flutters at wide open throttle halfway down the straights, floats are set correctly, everything is fine at idle, good throttle response, ect. Would the rear jets being to rich cause that issue? E85 or 110 gas what will perform better? Crank case evac system worth messing with on 604? How much preload on a 602 valve and what best on timing 34? Ordered springs for my 602 from crateinsider, can you tell me how to determine if they need to be changed using a spring checker? (On the engine not the bench tester) Is there a certain number I'm looking to be above or below? Hey Steve and Kate, 604 IMCA modified 1” open spacer or no spacer? how much gain would you expect to see going from 98 octane race gas to e85 on a 602? Steve have you built an IMCA 305 sprint motor? 1:6 rockers make a big difference on the 604? What do you think about wildwood 570? 604 1/4 carb spacer or 1” spacer for 604?
