If you've checked out last week's episode, you'll know that it was Jeremy Burgess who first described riders as 'flickering lightbulbs'. Why? Because the moment they start to fail, you just replace them with a new one. Cruel, yes, but that's MotoGP for you. You can be one of the twenty fastest riders alive - but all that matters is that you're always just a little slower than the next guy. You've been demoted to dead wood, to borrow another term from Burgesss. Good luck, and goodbye! So maybe you're one of those riders who didn't appear last episode. Maybe you thought this meant you were safe. Bad luck, buddy: that means Mat and Peter just haven't gotten to you yet!Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. Who's got six thumbs in total and is back in their own recording booths, with audio that won't melt your ears off? That's right, it's the Oxley Bom MotoGP Podcast! Now, if your are a rider and are currently enjoying some well-deserved R&R, you might want to turn off this podcast. Because they might be off the bike, but that doesn't mean they're off the hook. This week, we're taking a page from the book of Jeremy Burgess when he said: "Really, riders are like light bulbs: if they start to flicker you screw one out, and put another one in." It's a ruthless and mean thing to say, but MotoGP can be a really ruthless and mean sport. And nobody is more ruthless and mean than your hosts Mat and Peter, right? So come join us in our first part of a two-episode rider review. We'll be doing the 'deadwood' (another Burgess-coined term!) this week, and hand out our best-of-class awards next week. So press play, and hope you're not mentioned in this episode...Want more? In this episode of the Velo Podcast, host Mike Levy sits down with tech editors Alvin Holbrook and Josh Ross to tackle one of cycling's hottest debates: how do we make professional racing safer? Jim Cotton brought up the valuable question of whether or not skills tests and rider airbags – two suggested solutions to make pro cycling safer – would actually make cycling safer for folks. Bib shorts equipped with automatically inflating airbags are proven in MotoGP to protect riders during high-speed crashes, but are they practical for the pro peloton? What about a licensing system, one that CPA president Adam Hansen has hinted at in the past? The team discusses weight penalties, comfort concerns over long stages, and whether clothing sponsors would embrace the technology. Further, they debate whether proficiency tests make sense for athletes who live on their bikes, what such courses should teach, and whether the bureaucratic hurdles are worth the potential safety gains. Finally, the crew discusses their predictions for new gravel bikes that will be predicted in 2026, as well as what gravel bike trends Alvin hopes fall by the wayside in the new year. Is there a new Specialized Crux coming, and if so, how different will it be in the future? There are nine in total, and we talk about the biggest and best of them all. Want to join Josh and Levy at their group ride? See the info here. See previous episodes of the Velo Podcast here. On the podcast this week, we discuss the 2025 season for Ducati. On the surface, they won the triple crown of Championships, but the numbers when compared to 2024 to 2025 are stark. But they do have Marc Marquez, which helped cover up a lot of the issues. How will they approach the 2026 season? Will we see a better Pecco Bagnaia? Can Alex Marquez elevate himself even further with his new Factory contract? Or is this the year that Aprilia and the rest can take the fight across the whole season to Ducati?Crash has been the global leader in terms of MotoGP news and features over the last 20 years so to expand our coverage of the sport we all love, we are now doing a weekly podcast! An in-house production brought to you by the Crash MotoGP team: Presented by Jordan Moreland (Social Media Manager) - Peter McLaren (MotoGP Journalist) - Lewis Duncan (MotoGP Journalist)#MotoGP Hosted on Acast. Colaboran: Motorbeach.com, EstoyDeRuta.com, Atlantis Moto, Casa Pipo y Asador La Nozana.

GENERALI SRBIJA I LAP 76 POKLANJAJU BESPLATAN VAUČER ZA PREGLED PROSATE
60 minutos de puro MotoGP, nuestro 'last dance' particular. Gas!

WIth another year is in the books for the Paddock Pass Podcast covering the Superbike World Championship Steve and Gordo are joined by Alex Raby to break down the campaign that saw Toprak Razgatlioglu sign off his Superbike career as a triple champion before finally getting his MotoGP chance. Nicolo Bulega impressed everyone from the start of the season and we look at the Italian's performance to become Ducati's team leader. His performance was such that he effectively relegated Alvaro Bautista to a Bologna after thought. With Toprak moving on, Bulega having had a chance in MotoGP and Jonathan Rea retiring from full-time racing what does the future hold for WorldSBK and how is the overall health of the series? Later in the week we'll have Part 2 of our WorldSBK season review where we'll look at some of the other performers through the season and debate our Top 5 riders of the season

On the show this week, we review the Valencia Test and the half day of madness with each team in a rush to get everything tested. We also look at the two rookies, Diogo Moreira and Toprak Razgatlioglu on how they performed. It's over! It's all over! Forever! What am I talking about? The 2025 MotoGP-season, of course. Layed to rest in Spain last week, gone but not forgotten, etc. We all had fun, didn't we? Okay, with that out of the way...it's on to the 2026 season! If you are part of our Patreon, you will already have heard Peter talk about the Valencia test in our special crossover episode. But there is a lot more to be said, and it's high time we did so. So, what did we see the teams testing in Spain last week? First of all: lot's of aero. There's no getting around it, but there's definitely different ways of implementing it. And let's just say that not every type is equally enjoyable for any particular rider. But it's not all just hot (and cold!) air. We've got mass dampeners, rigorous rider training regimens, Ducati's naming schemes and much, much more. So open a drink, turn up the volume, and remember: sometimes the only difference between a calm ass and a calamitous chatterbox is a mere 5 millimeter...(Oh, and thanks to everybody that showed up to our first live performance last week. We had a lot of fun. Hope you had, too! )Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. Few families embody American motorcycle racing the way the Haydens do, and in this episode Roger Hayden opens up about what it was really like growing up in one of the sport's most iconic households.Roger talks about life in Owensboro, Kentucky, where racing wasn't just a hobby, it was a lifestyle. He shares memories of riding every day, the nonstop competitive energy between the Hayden brothers, and the work ethic their parents instilled in them from the very beginning. He reflects on Nicky's exceptional talent and drive, how each brother pushed the others, and what it meant to sweep the podium together at the legendary Springfield TT. Roger also dives into his own career, the highs, the contracts, racing for factory Kawasaki and Suzuki, and even turning down a MotoGP ride to chase an AMA SuperSport Championship like his brothers achieved. The conversation takes a heartfelt turn as Roger talks about losing his brother Nicky, how that shaped his life, and how he found a new chapter as an announcer for MotoAmerica. He shares his perspective on the growth of the series, the rising talent in the U.S., and where he believes American racing is headed next. In the spirit of so many substitute riders in the Moto3 class Jim got a substitute for Rich who was traveling to help talk about MotoGP. Skyler and Jim chat about the MotoGP races and Skyler gives his take on Marc, Pecco, Liberty Media and many other things. Jim them goes solo to fill you in on the Moto3 and Moto2 races. Only the Moto2 title is left to be decided but Moreria made a statement by winning the race.
