I'm going to list off 4 or 5 games and everyone has to guess how much the lot is worth in total. Whoever is closest to the actual value wins that round! Everyone has a list and everyone guesses on each other's list. At the end, the player that won the most rounds wins the episode! But watch out for for our trio of automated competitors: The Ghost (Polterguest), the Robot (Deus Guess Machina), and the Dinosaur (???Retrosaurus???) They each make their own guess as well! While this softens the blow of the 360 marketplace's closure there are still a massive amount of games being left behind. Physical copies of these games will and in some cases already have seen an increase in value. Digital only games like Rush ‘N Attack Expatriot, Rez HD, Vigilante 8 Arcade, and all of the Arcade Kinect games will be largely left to time, piracy notwithstanding. Here's hoping that the recently rumored renewed focus on backwards compatibility from Microsoft comes to fruition. - PS3 -While Sony had previously announced in 2021 that it was shutting down its PS3 digital storefront, the company reversed its decision after a backlash from fans. Both the PS3 servers and store remain in operation in 2024. Thoughts - Community Couch JosiahP. — 04/22/2024 10:21 AM Super Mario Maker for the Wii u hit me hard- do you think that revival services like RiiConnect24 or PriiTendo are a good option for revival projects? Eric Plunk — 04/22/2024 10:40 AM I wish I had the foresight to download the Konami Rebirth series of games from WiiWare before the Wii Shop closed down. Every company should make a better effort to preserve and make these games available on future hardware. adam — 04/22/2024 2:21 PM don't have a story to tell, but instead a meme to share! but it's wild to me that games like the crew can get delisted. Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the whole crew in the house once again and a whole bunch of video game goodies to discuss, so let's get right into the action! We get things started off with a bunch of the online multiplayer gaming that we've all been doing lately, both together and independently. From there, Kevin takes some time to revisit the Super Mario Bros. 3 remake on the Game Boy Advance, before diving into a whole bunch of the Sega Genesis classics (and hidden gems) that are available via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass. Finally, Randall closes things out with some various thoughts on Nintendo's recent closure of both the 3DS + Wii U eShops, including a handful of snags he made at the last minute... Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is Nintendo's 3DS "free-to-start" experiment that gave us fun baseball minigames, an interesting haggling mechanic and introduced us to maybe the most fleshed-out character in the 130+ year history of the company. Patrick Ehlers and Mark Mitchell from Nintendo Cartridge Society are joining me to break down what makes this game so special - and how this could very well be Rusty Slugger's last dance. ⚾ ★☆★☆★☆ ► Listen to Nintendo Cartridge Society: https://anchor.fm/nin-cart-society ► Follow NCS on Twitter: https://twitter.com/NinCartSociety ★☆★☆★☆ ► Support this show on Patreon: https://patreon.com/allnpodcast ► Get KNW merch: https://bit.ly/allnmerch ► Follow Keep Nintendo Weird on Twitter: https://twitter.com/knwpodcast ► Follow me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/twodollarhero ► Email: keepnintendoweird@gmail.com ♠️ Keep Nintendo Weird is proudly part of the All N media network! ♠️ ► Join the All N Discord server: https://discord.gg/HhS2yjZaQN ► Listen to All N: https://linktr.ee/allnpodcast ★☆★☆★☆ Huge thanks as always to Lucas Pucas for the use of our theme song, "Blur Bridge"! Though Nintendo hasn't oiled its mitt and strapped on some cleats since 2013's Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, the company is no stranger to America's pastime and has a wealth of prospects in its franchise farm system. As such, its only natural that the NXpress would eventually do a baseball draft of Nintendo characters, and that time is now. This week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast, Tim and Patrick fill their rosters from the deep stable of Nintendo games, stacking their lineups with speed and power, while trying not to sacrifice fundamental defense. Will they be drawn to traditional ‘eye-test' scouting, or will sabermetrics lead to that championship team? You'll have to tune in to find out who made which surprising picks! Before that, the two catch up on what they've been playing recently. Having finally played through all that Fire Emblem: Three Houses has to offer (and taking over 250 hours to do so), Patrick sends the game off on one last spate of praise. Meanwhile, Tim fills him in on what's been going on in Animal Crossing New Horizons, including describing his island's spooky setup, as well as the new additions coming via DLC. For all this and more, have a listen!

There were a few points this episode where we forgot we were recording a podcast, and just reminisced for a while. Then again if you aren't expecting that by now, I don't know why you are still listening... On this episode... We Played... Euan finds The Castle Doctrine lacking slightly, but not as much as The Last of Us DLC, Left Behind. He might be the only person in the world who really didn't like it. Calum has adventures in hardware with the trials and tribulations of PC upgrading. Turns out 3mm can make all the difference. No jokes. Please. We recount our adventures in the Titanfall beta. It's great, but remember it's still a FPS almost exclusively populated by horrible internet denizens. The Threes soundtrack is really great. You should listen to it In News... There is a new Sonic game, and they have already lost us at the trailer. yourself[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0a7-1wdDuw] The Xbox One is getting a price drop to £399 in the UK only. Smart move with Titanfall on the horizon Irrational Games, makers of Bioshock Infinite, downsized to just 15 people and Ken Levine. The rest of the video game industry swoops in to help those layed off Square-Enix missed the point of Free to Play, and completely butchers the Tales of Fantasia mobile remake The "Year of Luigi" ends on March 18. Pity, it's been such a great year for Nintendo *cough* Harmonix are making a music based FPS called Chroma. Sure, why not. Assassins Creed is getting a Mega Bloks set. Yeah I said "huh?" too... The Evil Within will attempt to scare your nuts off on current and next gen on the 26th August Nintendo continues to be crazy in the best way with Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, a free download where you can haggle with an in game character to reduce the real world price of more minigames.
