The Department of Forestry and fisheries along with its park authorities have vowed to work with law enforcement to apprehend suspects involved in the murder of Timbavati's Head game ranger.

Anton Mzimba is a ranger at the Timbavati Private Game Reserve. Timbavati is located in northeast South Africa, near Kruger National Park. In this episode, Anton takes us into the life of a ranger. He talks about what it is like to stand up to poachers and the enormous cost rangers like him must bear in doing so. We also learn about the communities near Timbavati and how all of us have a role in helping them become more prosperous for their residents.

Chad was drawn to the bush and wilderness from a young age and has found his happy place in the wild and remote Timbavati on the border of the Greater Kruger. Here he is the head guide at Tanda Tula Safari Camp - one of the only owner run safari camps in the area. The camp is luxurious, welcoming and has an extremely good reputation for a reason. The game viewing is exceptional helped by their teams of expert safari guides and trackers, many of whom have worked for Tanda for years and years. We loved hearing Chad's favourite stories of the South African wilderness.

Malgré tous les défis qu'elle affronte, Vanessa s'engage également au sein de Camwomen, une association qui soutien les femmes africaines issues de milieux défavorisés. In 2002, she founded the Global White Lion Protection Trust, an organization that works to protect not only the white lions, but also the indigenous communities and knowledge of the Tsonga and Sepedi cultures, which celebrate the white lion as a sacred living heritage.
