As we can imagine from the dramatic reading of Matthew 6:9-13. God can and does listen to our prayers. People sometimes ask … What does the Bible say about God listening to our prayers? 1 Peter 3:12 comes to mind "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer..." And in John 5:14-15 - " 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: 15 And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we ask God to help us surrender our will and completely rely on Him. We let go of our control when we want God's will over our own. After all, we're more ourselves once we surrender.Well, that's it for today.
