We then compared Solomon's temple and Zerubbabel's temple to God's ultimate plan for His temple - to dwell amongst His people.

It's easy to be overwhelmed by these situations. They are real and sometimes extremely painful and we often let the externals determine our internal season. Song of Solomon is an invitation from God to his beloved, us, to come away. It's a promise that in Him everything has the possibility for new growth, colour and life. He is offering an eternal spring in our spirit.
