Podcasts exploring the truth of who we are
In this month's episode, we're looking at the benefit of problems, and how they can perform an important role within the belief system in which the mind operates. We're going to look at it from two perspectives - the benefit for the identity, and the benefit for a more aligned experience of being. So we're going to understand what may be the basis of our persistent problems with relationships or with money, how to discern between different kinds of problems, and how we can shift the mind from projections into reality. What We Cover: -The same conditioning behind the problems and the identity-The “job” of our problems and why they resist solutions -What we need to ask ourselves when we have a persistent problem-How to see through problems and understand what is wanted and what is achievable-Why increasing the capacity for discomfort brings the mind into reality-Accepting that the mind actually loves problem solving Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
When we are looking to solve a problem, one of the most difficult elements of a problem can be regret. It's that thought, if only I'd done something differently when I had the chance, then this problem wouldn't be here. If I had or hadn't done something at a certain moment in time, that would have changed everything about the past from that point on, the present moment that is being experienced right now, and the future. Regret is a powerful state of mind for us to look at. In this episode, we're going to define regret, how it works, what it does, and how to free up the full power of the human mind. What is Covered: -The definition of regret-How regret functions in the mind-The benefits of regret for the ego identity-What happens when our mind resists the present moment-What happens when our mind is present in the moment-The role and value of regret for personal growth-The questions we can ask ourselves in relation to our regret Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This month's episode is an introduction to our May programme, which is all about the intelligence of the mind, how it is liberated and how it comes into its full potential as the most miraculous and capable organ on the entire planet. Basically, all our programmes are looking at how the mind becomes more sane. One of the ways in which the mind becomes more grounded in reality is through problem solving. Today, we're going to look at two kinds of problems that our mind is trying to solve, and how that contributes to grounding ourselves into the truth of what we really are. What is Covered: -How and why the mind creates projections of the reality-What identity problems are and what they get exacerbated -Problems in the world of form and of information-Why we claim that all problems in this world can be solved-What stress is telling us when we are solving a problem-The difference between the identity want and the form want-Other types of problems that we can look at Resources:-Sign Up for REAL Membership and Intelligence and Problem Solving Course at https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/650028 -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
“Let go of the outcome” is such a modern mantra, isn't it? Let go of the outcome and just focus on the process. And that mantra gets very confusing, because why would we let go of an outcome that is highly achievable and highly beneficial either to us, or to others, or to the world? Think about the work of surgeons and what would happen if they let go of the outcome. The problem is that letting go of the outcome can start to imply to not even try, not think about it, it almost becomes an opt-out from effort. So in this episode, we're going to bin “let go of the outcome” and start thinking about achievable and unachievable wants instead. What is Covered: -Why focusing on the outcome creates so much stress -Learning to understand unachievable wants -What happens when “I” is both the subject and the object of a want-How to avoid wanting outcomes that are impossible to pin down-Why sometimes the wanted outcome is unrelated to the action being taken-The impossibility of resisting or fixing certain emotion in place-The value of putting all the research, effort and hard work only into achievable outcomes Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
The direct path is a spiritual approach which considers that the content of experience is a creation of the mind. And for the mind to be in truth, we should turn away from that content to what lies behind all of the experience of being, which is consciousness, intelligence, love. The direct path is completely solid and grounded, and that's awesome. But the thing is, the mind is still operating in a world where we work, we have family, mortgages to pay or problems with our boss. So if the only truth is what is prior to the mind's creations, what do we do now with this reality? That's what we are exploring in this episode. What is Covered: -Explanation of the direct path-The problem with a lot of spiritual teachings of the direct path-How the direct path grounds us deeper into reality-Expanding the emotional capacity vs. denying the pain-How the direct path reveals itself in the midst of the confrontation-Why “What do you want?” is the crucial question to ask ourselvesResources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
“Find your why” is a very common phrase that we hear in self-help circles. It's the idea that there is a higher purpose, a bigger meaning we can find, a deeper motivation that will inspire us, and that will keep us going through tiredness and frustrations. It's a very powerful argument, and that power is incredibly problematic. Because, if our why relates to securing the ego identity, then that whole thing is completely insane. So in this episode, we're going to explore why finding our why can lead us to chaos, and how we can understand it in a way that brings joy, relief and great experiences. What is covered: -Why “Find your why” is such a compelling invite-The problem with finding your why and the belief system it relies on-How our problematic why's can lead to burnout and health problems-The risks of finding our why in being a great parent or in helping others-How we can reverse Find your why to learn more about our wants-How finding your why can be fulfilled with excitement, joy and learning Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today, we're going to explore the gift of the fun house. The title of this episode came about as I remembered how my son experienced the fun house at a yearly fair in our town. For two years in a row he was scared, running into the same mirror and getting bumps on his head, and then the third year he just thought it was boring. Boring is such a good word when it comes to what the mind creates, the enormous roller coaster that the experience of being can go on in the grip of total identification. But then it gets really interesting when that experience starts to become boring, and that's what we are going to talk about in this episode. What is Covered: -The grip that the identified mind holds over our existence-Why we almost feel possessed in the moments of a perceived survival threat -How the tension and the drama we're experiencing can become boring-What boredom signalises to our body-mind-How we can shift from focusing on securing the identity to solving problems-How boredom frees the mind to fully participate in the world Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Welcome to our 50th episode! With almost 50,000 downloads so far, inspired by those fives, today we're going to discuss five of my favourite quotes for life. Tune in to hear why I've chosen them and how they inspire and connect with the conversation around our Superpowered Mind. I hope they give you as much to reflect on as they give to me."The real you is a field of intelligence in which the person you have identified yourself with, all other persons, as well as the environment in which they exist, all co-arise and co-evolve as a result of your own self interactions." - Deepak Chopra "Our parents, our children, our spouses and our friends will continue to press every button we have, until we realise what it is that we don't want to know about ourselves yet. They will point us to our freedom every time." - Byron Katie "It is slavery to live in the mind unless it has become part of the body." - Khalil Gibran "I go down to the shore in the morningand depending on the hour the wavesare rolling in or moving out,and I say, oh, I am miserable, what shall—what should I do? And the sea saysin its lovely voice:Excuse me, I have work to do."- Mary Oliver "You believe that you live in the universe, when in reality the universe lives in you." - Steve Chandler Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we're looking at the driver to be seen. Everybody wants to be seen, to be heard, to be acknowledged. It provides the temporary feeling of validity, worth, and survival even. And that makes sense when looked at from the belief system of what we are as a separate entity, that can somehow find wholeness through attention and love, regard and respect. In the midst of this tremendous drive to be seen, we use elements at our disposal, such as our work, our body, our looks or our help and support of other people. In this episode we are going to explore the difference between being seen and seeing, and how between the two lies a freedom that sets free all of these elements that would be used in the attempt to solidify the identity, and instead just become what they are. What is Covered: -Philosophical aspects of being seen vs. seeing-What is the “I” that wants to be seen? -The relationship between individual and infinite consciousness -How consciousness operates through our body-mind form-Analysis of Descartes' “cogito ergo sum”-How the understanding of what we are sets free our relationships Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today, we're looking at the difference between a mind that is claiming doership and source accountability. We're going to take a story from a beauty salon to explore the mind's confusion about being a separate doer that's making things happen, and the state of mind that is sane, inquiring and settling back to truth about what we are and what is real. We're going to use simple messages that we can receive like compliments or insults to reveal the deeper meaning behind them about our belief systems, and to explore source accountability as the system of moving intelligence and consciousness through the world. What is Covered: -The anecdote from the beautician's about having “nice eyebrows”-Why we tend to take compliments or insults personally-The belief system behind compliments and insults-The fundamental insecurity behind the belief that we are a separate doer-The difference between avoidance through spiritual bypassing and perceiving feedback information-Source accountability and its learning cycle -How intelligence and consciousness really operate in the world-How to find peace in the constant movement of consciousness Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Last week, we looked at one horrible question to ask ourselves in the midst of resentment: What is my equivalent? This week we're looking at an even more horrible question: What is the benefit? It is a horrible question because on the surface, it has the potential to be really dangerous. We need to understand its full power when we are in situations where there's resentment towards someone or something. Is it possible that we might be benefiting directly from that situation? So in this episode, we're going to explore why exactly this is a dangerous question, and how we can start using it as a tool for liberating our superpowered mind. What is Covered: -The surface level and the deeper level of benefiting from resentment-Why resentment is an ego stabilising space-The possible hidden benefits of staying in situations of resentment-How to acknowledge choices that are being made in our present situation-Transitioning from hidden choices and unachievable wants to conscious and achievable ones-Why we should pose the question “What is the benefit?” only to ourselves Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we're looking at one of the most powerful, humbling and liberating questions that we can ever ask ourselves. It's a question that comes into its full power in the moments when we are feeling resistance or resentment to someone. The question is: What is my equivalent? It's a horrible question, because in those moments when we want someone to change their behaviour, the ego is having a field day. There's a full sense of me versus them, and it's a wonderful place for the ego identity to hang out. But then in comes this question, which completely rewires our thought patterns and takes us somewhere new. In this episode, we're going to explore that new place and become open to the possibility of changing how we experience ourselves and the reality. What is Covered:-Why our ego identity enjoys being in the state of full separation-How do we start to default to “What is my equivalent?”-What equivalent really means and how we can recognise it in different situations-How equivalent can be a direct or indirect mirror of somebody's behaviour-How to get into the space of understanding and compassion instead of separation-How the outside world starts to change when we change the concept of what we are Resources:-Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Because we're starting a new year, today we're looking at the phrase “New Year, New You.” You can see it throughout all of social media, all of the products, fitness plans, health kicks and diets - all selling the idea that you can create a new “you” through different behaviours. But is that true? Can going on a diet or giving up alcohol really make you feel like a new you? Obviously, any behaviour change, especially ending an addiction, is going to have a dramatic effect on the experience of what you are. But the most fascinating aspect of this exploration is - who is making that change and where does the change of behaviour come from? That's what we're going to consider in this episode. What is Covered: -Who is “You” in “New Year, New You”?-Considering your body mind as a sensory form where all experience is happening-Why your needs cannot be met through any external program-How you're creating a new you in every single moment -New you as a field of pure potential-How to uphold your New Year's resolutions effortlessly Resources:-Discover the Freedom of a Quiet Mind: Transform Your Mental Health in January 2025 https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/589461 -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Discover the Freedom of a Quiet Mind: Transform Your Mental Health in January 2025 https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/589461 As Christmas is approaching, let's dedicate today's conversation to the greatest gift of all. There is enormous conditioning around the holiday season. It looks like at Christmas, we want to have all of the things we are told we should have - happiness, the perfect family, the right amount of attention and praise for what we do. We want to give and receive the right gifts that show us that someone knows us and that will make us peaceful, happy and joyful. But none of this is possible to achieve. Those are the unachievable wants of our mind. So what is it that we can give and receive instead, what would be the true gift of the holidays? Let's find out in this episode. What is Covered: -What is our fundamental want and why it seems to be unachievable -Why the holiday season can be particularly stressful and what is the hidden gift of that stress-Considering holidays as the time to “up the lab” of inquiry -How each of emotional turmoils can become a field of peak experience-Observing and recognising vs. wanting and achieving -The greatest gift you can receive at the time of holidays Resources: -Discover the Freedom of a Quiet Mind: Transform Your Mental Health in January 2025 https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/589461 -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today, we're looking at the difference between peace and alignment, and the shift that happens when finding fake peace is no longer interesting. We have all experienced a strong urge and motivation to find and somehow keep our peace of mind. But if our entire experience of reality is based on our ego identity, on the idea of a separate “me”, it proves to be an impossible task. So why is that, that we try so hard to be at peace and simultaneously we end up further and further away from it? And how do we start to replace peace as a goal with alignment as an ongoing process? What is covered: -How we usually understand the state of peace and why we struggle to “find” it-How to shift our quest for peace to the understanding of alignment-What true alignment is and how to recognise it-Understanding stress as a signal of a temporary lack of alignment-Egoic reality vs. actual reality-How we can test our sense of peace and alignment-Alignment as an ongoing work of confrontation with ego and the process of a true spiritual understanding Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we're looking at the phrase you hear a lot in spiritual circles - You create your own reality. This is a really interesting one, because it all depends on what that “you” is. How we understand that “you” will determine whether this phrase sends us into complete confusion, more frustration, more insanity, more stress, or whether it's a portal to sanity and to a deep understanding of what is going on within the mind. In this episode we are going to explore the two you's that this phrase could be referring to, and why I've decided that I wouldn't ever say it to someone. What is Covered: -Why believing that that we create our own reality can send us into more self-blame and shame-The false belief that we can somehow change our inner state so that our reality changes-What is that you? What is reality? What is the relationship between the two?-Why the phrase “you don't exist” or “nothing really exists” sounds false-The shift from an identified mind to an inquiring mind-Why we need to constantly explore what the “you” really is Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Efficiency is my favourite subject to talk about, because of my upbringing and what I've seen the people in my life having to do with very limited resources. When there are situations like illness in the family, one really needs to step up and become incredibly efficient to organise and run everyday life. Because I've seen that being done so brilliantly in my family, it's a tragedy to me when we live our lives in a constant struggle and fight that is not caused by circumstances beyond our control, but is the creation of our own minds. So how do we avoid that and cut out all the craziness, the dissonance, and the wasted effort of our mind? How do we streamline and orientate attention in such a way that we are continually ending that struggle and taking the big leap of efficiency? That's what we'll explore in this episode. What is Covered: -How to draw a hard line between what is achievable and what isn't-Recognising the difference between a sane and an identified mind-The incredible capacity of our mind for mental representation-The fundamental inefficiency vs. fundamental efficiency of our lives-How to nurture the power of recognising unachievable wants-Honesty that's gained when we fully understand our wants Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
We live in a culture where we are learning all the time that our ego identity can be secured by someone else saying the right thing or doing the right thing to make us feel worthy. For example, if someone says we are beautiful or we are a great worker, it gives us a high like a drug. But the problem is that the high is temporary and it's always followed by a crash, leaving us wanting more of the same drug. Depending on these highs to find any sort of stability creates an epidemic of mental ill health. And we keep trying to heal our fragile ego identity by looking for more of the same drug to feed into this unsustainable system. So if nice words, praise and compliments aren't healing this fragile ego entity, how is it healed? This is what we are looking at in today's episode. What is Covered: -Why it is that nobody can fill the sense of lack of our vulnerable ego identity-How we can approach compliments and nice words instead-What our idea of ourselves actually represents-What true healing is and when it can start taking place-The value of emotional turmoil and the meaning of shame-Healing process as the peak experience Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Alignment is a word that we use quite a lot on this podcast and in this conversation. But what is really alignment and how can we recognise it or reach it? In this episode, we are going to look at alignment in three areas - dealing with misalignment to settle into the truth, behaviour changing as a result of understanding how our mind really operates, and the movement of intelligence and consciousness into the real world. And once we've recognised alignment and understood the perfection of the design of our superpowered mind, it's a train that goes all the way, for the rest of our lives. What is Covered: -How we can recognise misalignment in order to start moving into alignment-The design of our mind and why it believes and reacts to its own projections-How understanding of our subconscious belief system changes our behaviour-How to release our fears and replace them with freedom of expression-Inwards and outwards alignment-Alignment as an impersonal movement into the world Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
In today's episode, we're looking at how we can make better choices. But in order to even start talking about choices, we must acknowledge that there is categorically no chooser. There's no independent entity that exists to choose anything, even though it looks so obvious that “we”, as a separate identity, are choosing our actions and behaviours. What our conscious mind is actually doing is just witnessing the choices that come from the vast subconscious realm. So if there is no chooser, how can we get better at making choices at all? We're going to tackle this topic through four important points that will bring more awareness to our thoughts and behaviours. What is Covered: -Our conscious mind as the witnessing space of existence-The hidden underground subconscious realm that drives our choices-Where the beginning of mental freedom lies -Why all choices are the best available choices-The difference between choices made in real time and choices made from fear, need, shame and insecurity-How to start making better choices Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
We often find ourselves in a situation, a partnership, a friendship, or a job where we're feeling stressed, anxious and frustrated. And then we ask ourselves the question: should I stay or should I go? This is a great question for us to explore, because any situation in which there is stress is an opening space of inquiry for the superpowered mind. What often happens is that we either stay or we leave and nothing changes in our life. We stay stuck in the same situation or we replicate it in the next partnership or in the next job. So how do we get out of this confusion and how do we really decide if we should stay or we should go? This is what we're going to look at in today's episode. What is Covered: -How we can look at the stress as a valuable signal of misalignment-Using stress as a starting point for inquiry -The distinction between achievable and unachievable wants-How to understand and resolve unachievable wants-What to do after we discover an achievable want in our situation-The recipe for answering “should I stay or should I go?” Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
It's time for us to get really clear about what the Ego is. The ego definition that we usually encounter, particularly when we talk about someone having a ‘big ego' is that they think they are better than other people. But actually - they might in many respects be better at doing certain things. Recognising talent, ability and strengths of a body mind has nothing to do with ego. Ego is simply the obsessive attempt to secure the self-identity. And all of those attempts fail, because it's literally impossible to secure the idea of self that doesn't even exist. So in this episode, we're going to take a different approach and instead of measuring the feeling of self-esteem or self-enhancement, we're going to use three much more powerful measures of ego. What is Covered: -Can our ego get bigger after practicing meditation and yoga? -Fight or flight - the intensity of reactions to a perceived threat to our self-identity-How the unachievable wants of our ego can drive us to constant disappointment in life -Why the most powerful and creative minds tend to get stuck in a loop of self-belief-How we can begin liberating our mind Resources: -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/

And then, where do our intentions really come from? And how can wants and desires be the means through which the power of the mind is realised? Today we are looking at this seemingly impossible conundrum of the non-existence of free will and the complete accountability for everything that arises in experience. We are considering what happens to the self identity as the mind settles into the truth of what we are. What is Covered: -The impossibility of there being free will and an independent chooser, separate from beliefs and conditioning-How intentional and unintentional actions can be understood-Understanding impersonal accountability -Seeing the experience of separation as a temporary misalignment -Stress as an indication of a lost mind-How to understand and honour our desires Resources: -Sign up for a FREE Webinar - Introduction to Will and Intention on Wednesday, October 23rd at 20:30 GMT https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/571715 -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Sign up for a FREE Webinar - Supporting the Enquiring Mind on Wednesday, October 16th at 20:30 BST https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/571707 Today we're looking at what we can expect to happen or to change from an exploration about reality, self and identity. Right in there is the biggest irony. On one hand, it's guaranteed through this exploration that the lived experience of being will become more peaceful, more joyful, more aligned to what we truly are. The problem is that this guaranteed outcome happens in proportion to how much we stop attempting to get it. That's the cosmic joke we're about to tackle. In this episode, we're going to explore the five gains we can get by exploring reality, self and identity, and how to find a way through the irony of this search. What is Covered: -Why the search for happiness creates more separation and lack instead of less of it-How to stop searching for the sense of wholeness and what happens then-The value and health of emotional release and openness to experience-The inner check of the narrative of separation: is this true? -The increase of accountability and decrease of blame and shame-The new curiosity and joy of moving into areas of discomfort-Understanding the creative role of the mind Resources: -Sign up for a FREE Webinar - Supporting the Enquiring Mind on Wednesday, October 16th at 20:30 BST https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/571707 -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today, we're looking at the difference between cause, symptom and cure. If your role or level of responsibility involves working with other people and helping them with their problems, this episode is for you.It is so easy to override or spiritually bypass the actual cause of why someone is behaving the way they do, and keep them unintentionally in a limbo, not helping them get to what is actually going on. In this episode, we're going to make a vital distinction between root causes, symptoms and true healing, valuing symptoms for the information they provide, and pointing the way towards addressing underlying causes and starting to transform our reality. What is Covered: -Why it is vital to discern causes from symptoms-What happens when we manage symptoms without addressing the cause-What happens when we just ignore the symptom for too long-How we can recognise a dysfunction in our sense of being-Why sometimes we don't do what's curing us even if we know the cause of our problems-How to avoid the re-traumatising circle of curing a symptom with more of the same symptom-What we can do better when we identify a dysfunction in our experience of reality Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This episode is called “The Brick Wall”, because we're talking about a dead end and a complete full stop to the wants and needs to secure which cannot be secured. And that's the identity. Identity relies on the belief system of being a separate, controlling entity. It's the attempt to control the experience of being, to control what we think of ourselves and what other people think of ourselves. Every single want that relates to controlling the experience of being is a 100% unfulfillable quest. And yet, our entire lives are dedicated to fulfilling these wants, and enormous industries are dedicated to maintaining these wants in place in the guise of fulfilling them. So today we're going to unpack this wild goose chase that is securing the ego identity, and we'll see how we can go in a different direction, other than hitting the brick wall over and over again. What is Covered: -How the beauty industry and alcohol industry exploit our fundamental insecurity-Why the wants and desires that begin and end with ‘me' are completely unachievable-Why our wants attempt to control the uncontrollable and are impossible to observe and measure-How to discern if what you want is achievable and actionable-How to learn to welcome a critique and not feel threatened by it-The path to ultimate sanity Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
What does it really mean when you want to tell someone a few “home truths”? Even if you resent someone's behaviour and you feel called to put them right, does it really make you powerful or is there something else going on? Today, we're going to dive into what “home truths” are and how they drive you to actually miss true power. We're also going to look at five truly powerful questions that you can ask yourself whenever you feel triggered by someone else's behaviour. Although these questions can be very challenging, they will help you clear your perception and begin the end of separation. 5 Questions of Power: -What is really being resisted here? -What is being gained from the ego identity in this altercation?-How is this person's behaviour the exact mirror of my own behaviour?-How is my behaviour either creating, continuing or maintaining the behaviour that I am most resentful of?-What do I really want? Many of us find ourselves wanting to do something, for example to write a book, or to get fit, or to build a business, but we just can't get ourselves motivated to start on it. Where does our motivation come from? How can we get more motivation to do the things that we want to do? It's a great question that opens up the whole area of mind, desire, capacity and real world understanding that starts to make our mind the superpower asset that it really is.So in this episode, we're going to discuss and explore the three aspects of our experience of being, and how understanding them unlocks true motivation. What is Covered: -The Absolute, the Relative and the Illusory aspect of being-The prerequisite of experiencing anything as a human being-Motivation and desire to experience the world of form-Why we can never find wholeness through separation-Understanding true motivation-How to find the intrinsic motivation to do things in life-Unlocking the healthiest and the most sane kind of motivation Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This week, we are looking at healthy boundaries, and how the conversation about identity, self and reality can have an enormous effect on the sanity of our boundaries. One of the main dangers in setting healthy boundaries is that the confrontation involved in maintaining those boundaries and establishing deep relationships can be too much. If our earlier experiences taught us to avoid respecting our own space for the fear of being laughed at or shamed, we may even find ourselves spiritually bypassing boundaries, by claiming that there is no objective self and objective others. So in this episode, we're going to navigate around this confusion and learn how to enable strong and healthy boundaries that are grounded in reality. What is Covered: -Different ways in which we avoid to set healthy boundaries-Boundaries on the level of body and the overlay of boundaries within our mind-When we are most vulnerable to other people's offences -How we can start to set strong and healthy boundaries-How to resist reacting in the moment of perceived attack on our boundaries-The question to ask yourself when you're choosing how to react to someone's behaviour Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today's topic is around focus, and in order to talk about focus, let's first consider what focus is. Focus is pure attention. It is also called flow, the gap, deep presence, immersion and other names, but it is the fullness of attention given to something. So, focus has an object that our conscious mind illuminates like a spotlight. But what is the object of focus, and what controls where our attention goes? That's what we are diving into today, because it takes us directly to what conscious mind is, and answers the question how we can have more focus. What is Covered: -The dynamics of focus and attention-What controls where the spotlight of our focus goes-What happens when the object of focus is identity threat-Why our mind confuses and focus on the things that are not real-Two questions to help you clear your focus -How we can liberate our attention and our mind Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Join our FREE Webinar on CAPACITY on Wednesday, August 28th at 8:30pm BST https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/567506 In this episode, we are looking at what capacity is and why it is the foundation of all experience of being. Capacity is the availability of resources from moment to moment. Resources such as attention, energy, compassion, endurance, creativity, time and money can make an enormous difference to what is experienced, what choices are available and what actions can be taken. It is not true to say though that the expansion of capacity is always a good thing. When the stakes are very high, human endeavour can be enormous. The problem is that the stakes are not always what they seem. Often what is at stake is the protection of the self identity and the threat is simply the mirror of that insecurity. So in this episode, which is the introduction to our free webinar on capacity this week, and then a course that is starting in September, we're going to unpack and differentiate capacity as a driver of burnout and depletion versus capacity as a process of re-energising, creation and expansion. We are going to consider what aligns human capacity to human truth and why that is. What is Covered: -What we usually mean by capacity and why it is so misunderstood -How capacity can lead to burnout and exhaustion -Dysfunctional capacity and how it can create a lot of harm to society-The power of sense-checking and reflecting on capacity -Capacity as a resource for learning, feedback and creation Resources: -Join our FREE Webinar on CAPACITY on Wednesday, August 28th at 8:30pm BST https://claredimond.simplero.com/page/567506 -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/Mentioned in this episode:Join our FREE Webinar on CAPACITY, Wed 8/28 at 8:30pm BSTSign up HERE
Are constraints that we perceive real? It's a vital question to explore, because our brilliant human mind, with its capacity for creating concepts and psychological devices, can very easily exit itself from reality. Our very ego is built on constraints and limitations. However, what we want is freedom to dive deeper into reality, we want to engage with our mind, body, talents, capacities, skills and abilities on a deeper level. So that's why we need to ask the question - is there such a thing as constraints? What is Covered: -Why our identity is built on limitations and separation-Why we can't find wholeness and piece from the premise of separation-Attempting to secure the identity through constraints -Examples of constraints in real life-Spiritual bypassing of the reality by denying the actual constraints-How constraints can be used as an input to start creating something unique-Pure intelligence in action through working with constraints-How constraints can lead to liberation and bliss Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/Mentioned in this episode:Join our FREE Webinar on CAPACITY, Wed 8/28 at 8:30pm BSTSign up HERE
Welcome to our 25th episode! To celebrate 25, we'll look at maturity, because the age 25 is the year when the frontal cortex reaches full maturity. Twenty five is also celebrated in many cultures as officially marking the move into adulthood. However, spiritual maturity happens throughout our life, and is an ongoing invitation right up to moments before death. In this episode, we're going to start by looking at the ego, which is actually the inner child, a naive collection of unquestioned beliefs, seeking and resistance. We'll see how understanding this begins the process of spiritual maturing. What is Covered: -Why the ego identity represents the inner child-What it means to say that someone has a big ego-The child and the lack of responsibility or shame and guilt in place of it-Stress response as a prompt for spiritual maturity process-What the mature and healing response to stress situations is -How to step towards the ultimate freedom and ultimate spiritual maturity Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we are looking at self-esteem and why it is the end of self-reference. This flies in the face of what the entire self-help industry is telling us. From what we read and hear, self-esteem comes from a focus on me, my confidence, my sense of being, my purpose in life and what I contribute. So it looks like to have high self-esteem, everything has to be focused in on that self, that needs to be developed and that needs attention. But the highest self-esteem is something else entirely. It's actually two things, and today we're going to see what those two things are. What is Covered: -Why true self-esteem and self-reference can't exist together-The inaccurate basis of the whole wellness industry-The connection between narcissism and self-esteem-How an absence of any thought of the self can transform into self-esteem-How to avoid the bypass of bad behaviour in the absence of self-reference-What it means to have an absolute accountability for behaviour and perception-What true, highest self-esteem really is Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
What does it really mean to show up for someone? Is it being kind? No, because being kind is so fraught with what we think being kind is, which might not be what the other person has in mind at all. Is it giving them our opinion? Not really, because our opinions change all the time. Is it doing what they want? No, because doing what they want is then caught up in people pleasing and trying to get their love or their affection through manipulation. So what is showing up for someone? What is Covered: -What stress or tension in a relationship with someone is showing us-Why we keep trying to find unconditional love and acceptance in someone else-How codependency in a relationship is created-How to parent ourselves in a relationship-Can you strategise showing up for someone? -Why showing up for someone is a solo enterprise-How to set healthy boundaries in a relationship-How to really show up for another person Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This question comes from my current course on compassion, in which ‘resentment' is one of our core topics. Resentment feels so awful because it is coming from the belief system that all behaviour is personally decided on and personally directed. Our identity goes into protection overdrive, creating the full lived experience of victim-villain. In these moments when resentment is running the show, there is one ultra-powerful question which ends the stress immediately. This question is “What is my equivalent?”. In this week's podcast we are looking at how it relates to resentment, and why it is such a powerful tuning in device for the mind to come back into reality. What is Covered: -What is resentment?-Why resentment is so toxic and unproductive for the bodymind-How to deal with the blame in resentment and why it is totally unfounded in reality-What happens to our ego when we ask the question - What is my equivalent?-What happens to the resentment when we find our equivalent-The story from Dr. Edith Eger's book “The Choice” Resources:-Check out Dr. Edith Egger's book “The Choice” https://www.amazon.com/Choice-Dr-Edith-Eva-Eger/dp/150113079X -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This week, we're looking at the confusion around confidence. For decades, this was a confusion that I was completely lost in, suffering from paralysis around public speaking. It looked to me that if I could just have more confidence, then I would be okay. I read books on confidence, I went to courses on confidence, but none of it worked. And the reason it didn't work is because the understanding around what confidence is and what effect it has is completely misunderstood by our culture, our society and even by psychology itself. So in this episode, we're going to dive into what confidence really is and what it truly means to be confident. What is Covered: -Why we are so obsessed with the self, with emotions and with the regard of others-Why attempting to switch from insecure to secure self doesn't work-Where our focus should be if we want to be more confident-What confidence looks like on the outside vs. what happens on the inside-The benefits of deep attention into our passions and interests-How to resolve the confusion around the confident self Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today, we're looking at something that sounds a bit odd, but it's really the bliss of human existence, which is impersonal purpose.Last week we looked at why this is the only conversation to be in, and it's because it is the end of the powerful mind using all its resources in the attempt to secure the unsecurable - our mental construct of a separate identity. But what happens next, when the whole motivation to secure myself in separation is on its way out? How do we find our purpose from the place of the superpowered mind? What is Covered: -Why it makes no point to try to defend the idea of a separate self-Recognising when our mind is getting lost in identification-How the process of untangling the confusion of a separate identity feels in our body-mind-When we can recognise that our mind is becoming an observer of actions-What is impersonal purpose? -How we can transform the energy of defending the narrative of self into the process of constant learning, observing and revelation Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
I say very often to my clients that this is the only conversation to be in. I do say that a lot, because the understanding of what the mind is, of what reality is, what the self or the identity is, of what is true and what the mind is capable of creating - all of that is liberation for the mind. Anything else other than this conversation is going to be an attempt to secure a vulnerable identity, convinced that it is separate from everything else, which is an impossible task. In this episode, I'll explain in more detail why it's an impossible task, and what we need to talk about instead. What is Covered: -Where to start with the search for peace, freedom and bliss-Why the attempts to confirm our identity result in more stress instead of relaxation-Why opening up to emotional storms is healthy for the human body-How to start releasing the suffering and diving into the pure presence of the mind Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we're looking at the future, and how an understanding of what the mind is and does can set the future and the experience of living free. There is a tension between the obvious usefulness of a mind that can imagine, plan and prepare for the future, and the paralysis of anxiety, fear, nervousness and foreboding when the mind gets lost in its images of the future, believing that they are real.So how do we resolve this getting lost in the belief of the future, and gain freedom for our superpowered mind? What is Covered: -What is the future and why that concept is the superpower of our mind-The problem with imagining the future-Examples of the future gone wrong in my mind-The real truth of the mind-The signals that our mind got lost in its own representations-How to free the mind from identifying with the past and the future Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This week we're looking at the past, and how a new understanding can completely transform the past. We're going to look at it from the perspective of what is true and what is useful. Because what happens is that the mind is so powerful and the way it represents things is so believable, that when the mind remembers the past, it looks like it's going actually back to some event. But it's not. The past doesn't exist as something somewhere. So in this episode, we're going to look at what the past really is, and how we can change and transform it from the space of sanity and freedom. What is Covered: -What is memory and how we think about the past-How the mind organises information into past, present and future-Why one piece of information can change an entire event from the past-How to harness the mind's superpower to interpret the past-The illusion of identity and the past-Looking at the past with understanding, sanity and freedom Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Cambridge Dictionary refers to the ego as the idea or opinion that we have of ourselves. We can consider the ego as the ongoing conscious experience of existence and of what “I am” in relation to that experience of existence. But the current understanding of what we are is very individualistic and it's focused on that ego as being an entirely separate entity that is able to choose behaviour, to make independent decisions, that can be built up, can become more confident and can have more sense of worth until it becomes healthy, which is the ultimate goal. So the healthy ego is seen as an ego that has a substantial belief in itself. What we are going to consider in this episode, though, is that actually that is a completely unhealthy ego, and we are going to unpack what a really healthy ego feels like. I want to start this episode by introducing a thought that the way we've been looking at resilience is completely wrong and confusing. It's actually creating a foundation in our lives that is profoundly unhelpful. So how about we start with this: consider that resilience is there to the extent that the focus is on the activity or the situation, rather than being about the identity. Because when the whole experience is about me and my self-esteem, my worth and what other people think of me, there is zero resilience. So let's look at resilience in a different way in this episode. What is Covered: -Why it's unhelpful to search for resilience within one's identity-The power of focusing the attention on an activity or situation-The lessons on resilience we can learn from sport coaches -The key to transforming the current mental health crisis-Two reasons why securing the identity is the end of resilience-The liberation we can find in learning and failures Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Psychology could be playing an enormous role in understanding what we are. And yet it's falling short, and that fact is contributing to the mental health crisis that we are finding ourselves in.The statistics are dire: in the last 20 years, antidepressant use in the U.S. has increased fourfold. 25% of people in Europe now suffer from depression or anxiety. Worldwide, depression is now the #1 cause of disability. 300 million people suffer from anxiety and $8 billion a year are spent on mental health medication. There is clearly something wrong. It shouldn't be the case that human bodyminds need medication to live and flourish. So what's going on? In this episode, we're going to look at what psychology is, its shortcomings and ways to overcome them. What is Covered: -What psychology is and how it currently looks at identity-Why psychology is falling short of understanding how the mind works-The dangers of unquestioning identity-How securing the unquestioned identity contributes to the mental health crisis-Why the absolute focus on feelings is so unhelpful in the healing process-The role of medication in this confusion about the mind-The path to revolutionising mental health Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Free will, choice, decisions, doership, control - however we call it, the real question behind all these things is, does free will exist at all?And the answer is that the "I" that I think I am, the "I" that thinks it has free will, the "I" that thinks it should be in control, that "I" doesn't exist. I know it sounds a bit crazy, because the lived experience of being is of a separate individual, but that's the fundamental confusion of the mind. So in this episode, I'm going to explore this idea of free will and the quest for control which is completely unfulfillable, and how we can approach it with more sanity and understanding. What is Covered:-Why the idea of free will is the epicenter of the confusion of the mind -Where our behaviour really comes from-How the belief structure that gives us an idea of what we are is formed -How to settle the mind into the space of inquiry and observation instead of control-Where to find the space of actual change and genuine transformation Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
Today we're looking at the biggest question of all, the question at the heart of mental freedom and sanity. What is reality? To unpack this question, we're going to analyse some quotes about reality by Albert Einstein, Deepak Chopra and Steve Chandler. We're also going to explore the notion of “objective” reality, our self-understanding, the content of our mind and the learned beliefs of what we are. We're going to strip off the layers from these ideas in order to see what reality really is. What is Covered: -Is there an objective reality?- What makes the content of our mind - The essence of who we really are- Why we can't secure our identity and why the ego is so vulnerable- How we can manipulate and spiritually bypass our understanding of reality- What true accountability is- Exploration and co-evolving our reality as a result of self-interactions Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
What is security is an enormous question. As security is explored, we can start to see that the more the mind associates security in either external circumstances or an inner realm of experiences being a certain way, the more the mind becomes confused and our lives become disrupted when things change beyond our control. That sets up existence as being vulnerable and shaky, and our lives become smaller, more rigid and more dependent as the mind becomes lost in the grip of factors being the source of security. So in this episode, we're going to dive into security and consider that the only source of genuine security is in whatever doesn't change. So what is that that doesn't change and that helps us feel secure? What is Covered: -What we normally consider as the sources of security and why that brings us suffering -Why the bodymind system that is programmed to react to perceived threats is at the same time normal and insane-Physical survival vs. identity survival-What really doesn't change and what is there prior to life and to content?-How we can stop the blind search for security and cultivate a more open mind Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
The search for peace is at the heart of so much of what we do. Our actions, our words and relationships are all done in order to try to bring about peace and ease of emotional and situational being. It's all very understandable and logical, because as a baby, we live completely in the present, with no concept of past and future, so peace is actually what we are. Once our mind develops and starts learning, planning, and understanding, it starts creating concepts and beliefs about our identity, and so our search for peace begins from that place of belief and conviction of separation. But when we start exploring the search for peace for what it really is, it starts a transformation in everything, from our motivation to our relationships and desires. So in this episode, we're going to start unpacking what peace is and how to look at the search for peace from a place of openness and inquiry. Shame, which I also refer to as an existential wrongness, is a deep feeling of being somehow responsible for everything that we feel is messed up within us. That ongoing sense of deep wrongness comes from the most fundamental confusion about the mind, about the body, and about our behaviour. However, shame is both our greatest suffering and the point at which there can be the greatest sanity about what the mind is and what we really are. There are examples of people who'd hit rock bottom and were even on the brink of suicide, and then at the lowest point, something happens and there's a shift within the mind in which shame just cannot exist anymore. In this episode, we're going to explore why we feel shame, the confusion that creates shame in the first place, but also the accountability of our perceiving mind for everything that happens to us and how we can get rid of the shame. What is Covered: -Why shame is the ultimate confusion, why it's insane and illogical-The toxic belief system that perpetuates shame and makes our life miserable-How to see shame as a gift of an emotion-Does it really make sense to get rid of the shame? -Why we are so focused on ourselves when we feel shame-What is source accountability or impersonal accountability?-How to find the place where shame ends and clarity and openness begin Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
For all of us, in some area of our life, it might be that it feels just like a struggle, like we're pushing water uphill, and the more we try, the more the thing that we want moves away from us. Or otherwise, it might be that we want more money or more clients, but we don't even know where to begin. Maybe we want better health, we want to be stronger, fitter, more flexible, and yet there just isn't that motivation in us. So what is going on when the thing that we want just isn't coming into our lives at all? This question is a way into having a profoundly different relationship with the mind and with the behaviour that unleashes the superpowered mind. Although it might seem a million miles away, the solution is actually already there, and it is so possible for all of us. So how do we get there? What it Covered: -The #1 confusion when it comes to not getting what we want-How come that our self and the thing we want are made of the same thing-The most common problem with getting what we want in relationships -The conflicting wants inside of us that prevent us from getting what we want-How to recognise the mismatch between our different desires and start getting them into alignment Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
This week, we are looking at the origin of personality and the 'me' that thinks it has a personality. We can define personality as the tendencies, traits and preferences, the ways of being and behaving that are the result of both nature and nurture. They're our genetic inheritance and they are how those genes are activated as a result of the individual experience. So our personality arises and develops over time, but can it fundamentally change? And is our personality really ‘our fault'? This is what we're exploring in this episode. What is Covered: -How our personality is formed into identity-What the bases of introversion and extroversion are-How introverts can become extroverts and vice versa-Why personality tests are not to be taken as definite-Why is ‘is my personality my fault?' a wrong question to ask-How and why our personality can shift profoundlyResources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let's connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
