Sat down with a couple of wonderful guys that have a lot to share and to more importantly help others. Coach Dave Ruekert is someone that you know through my show for sure. He's got a longtime good friend in Coach Ryan Mills and Ryan reached out to Dave a while back, wanting some way of telling his story in order to help others. Ryan has many things he is dealing with and he wants to share some insights, thoughts and ideas as to how we can handle the things we have going on in our lives. Now, remember, this in no way is meant to be professional help. In fact, Ryan and Dave remind us all that we need to reach out to professionals if we find ourselves needing help with our mental health for sure. A couple of things I was reminded about in our talk - everyone has battles that we are fighting with and dealing with AND there are good people out there that want to help. Understanding others is key, all throughout life and since life is all about relationships, listening to stories that Ryan shares can help us all become better people for ourselves and for others. If you want to reach out to Coach Dave - (davidruekert@gmail.com) or Coach Ryan - (ryanpaulmills23@gmail.com). This is something that I found very interesting and very true! Again, something I need to work on in a bigtime way! It's a great way to remember not to let someone's brief negative thought or action towards us, and let it ruin an entire day (or even longer). This is something that I have let bother me overnight at times, and ruin a decent night's sleep. That can't happen any more. Let me know if you have ways of dealing with this better than I do. Another home run by Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) and I think this is someone you should look up to find more about. Thanks for listening. Starting a new leap of faith here as I've been talking about getting guests back onto my show for awhile now & due to many people and things being tossed in my face and telling me to get going on this, here we go! My first guest in this new format is a friend of a friend who is now a friend of mine. Craig Lindeman begins to share his impactful and powerful story about addiction and how he's dealing with it. Craig goes down some paths of emotions, anger, redemption; a real authentic and raw conversation with someone who is battling things in his life, every single day! We as humans all have battles and even though our battles might be a bit different than Craig's, all of us can learn from him and others and apply those lessons into our own lives. This hopefully helps us to live our best lives! So many impactful lessons here. One for sure, is the fact that we all need to understand that ALL OF US have battles and we need to have our eyes, ears & hearts a bit more open to understand others, help others and also try to have these lessons help ourselves. Remember, I am in no way a professional counselor. I'm simply an educator / coach who is looking to make a difference with others. That's what my show is all about & always will be. Big time Thank You to Craig for reaching out and taking this leap of faith to be on my show and for reaching out for help. If you want to reach out to Craig, find him at his email: Linde1cr@gmail.com and on TikTok: craiglindeman (CraigelstheClown) Thanks for listening.
