February 15, 2026Judges 13:1-5, 14:1-9And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord gave them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years. There was a certain man of Zorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Manoah. And his wife was barren and had no children. And the angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold, you are barren and have not borne children, but you shall conceive and bear a son. Therefore be careful and drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean, for behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. No razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb, and he shall begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.”Samson went down to Timnah, and at Timnah he saw one of the daughters of the Philistines. Then he came up and told his father and mother, “I saw one of the daughters of the Philistines at Timnah. Now get her for me as my wife.” But his father and mother said to him, “Is there not a woman among the daughters of your relatives, or among all our people, that you must go to take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” But Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she is right in my eyes.” His father and mother did not know that it was from the Lord, for he was seeking an opportunity against the Philistines. At that time the Philistines ruled over Israel. Then Samson went down with his father and mother to Timnah, and they came to the vineyards of Timnah. And behold, a young lion came toward him roaring. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done. Then he went down and talked with the woman, and she was right in Samson's eyes. After some days he returned to take her. And he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion, and behold, there was a swarm of bees in the body of the lion, and honey. He scraped it out into his hands and went on, eating as he went. And he came to his father and mother and gave some to them, and they ate. But he did not tell them that he had scraped the honey from the carcass of the lion.Big Idea: God's story of deliverance doesn't end with defeat or death, so we must live into our powerless posture to reveal the grace of God.

Main Idea: God protects us from pride by placing us in weakness, so we learn to rely solely upon Him.1. God gives you STRENGTH by making you weak. (vs.1-8)2. God gives you ASSURANCE when you are afraid. (vs. 9-15)3. God gives the VICTORY in Him. (vs. 19-23)

January 18, 2026 Acts 2:36-47“Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”

Colossians 3:1-14If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.*Please note: This week's sermon podcast had a few technical hiccups, so the audio quality isn't our usual standard. We still felt it was important to share, as we continue to seek the Lord in 2026! We hope it encourages you.

November 9, 2025Big Idea: Our response to suffering is out of love for others, taking every opportunity to point them to Jesus. This courage under fire is born within us when we exchange the fear of man for the fear of God.

November 2, 20251 Peter 2:13-25Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

October 12, 2025Main Idea: We worship Christ alone no matter what we may face because The Lord God reigns forever.

September 14, 2025Question of the day: How do we remain faithful in Babylon?

September 7, 2025Romans 10:14-17 ESV“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”Big Idea: The all-powerful, all-wise God has called each one of us to actively participate in His eternal plans. His Holy Spirit transforms our speech to reveal Christ Jesus to others.

August 31, 2025Main Idea: The gospel is the proclamation of hope to the broken and a challenge to the forces that oppress.

August 24, 2025Big Idea: Sometimes the wisest thing to do is be silent and trust God to do His work.

August 17, 2025Ephesians 4:29-32 ESV“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”Big Idea: Even though we are a sinful people, God has invited us to participate in extending His kingdom. Our primary tool for this Divine mandate is the spoken word. The words that we speak not only reveal the condition of our hearts, but we also use them to affirm or corrupt one another.

August 10, 2025Big Idea: The human tongue is a terrible monster that no human can tame. James wisely brings us to the end of ourselves, by offering us only one choice – surrender to the One who alone can tame the tongue - Jesus. This is a key to spiritual maturity

July 20, 2025Sermon in a Sentence: God makes us righteous not by what we achieve but by what we receive: His mercy. Application:-Believe the Gospel – You are accepted not because of what you do, but because of God's mercy.-Watch Your Heart – Ask God to root out contempt for others.-Be Humble and Needy in Prayer – Pray prayers of honesty, humility, and mercy. Encourage short prayers filled with truth over long ones filled with self.

July 13, 2025Main Idea: Prayer is the tool that invites God to fight your battles. So, pray and pray some more.

June 29, 2025

June 15, 2025Main Idea: God delights when sinners repent—so be quick to repent and eager to rejoice when others do.

June 8, 2025Main Idea: Because Jesus is more glorious than fame, wealth, comfort, or anything else, we must examine our lives to ensure that we remove anything that prevents us from experiencing God's Kingdom.

June 1, 2025Luke 13:18-21The Mustard Seed and the LeavenHe said therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.”And again he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”

May 18, 2025Big Idea: Because God has come to redemptively satisfy all our needs we must center our hearts on the Finished Work Christ.

May 11, 2025

May 4, 2025Big Idea: Our Sovereign God uses the Gospel as a means for us to examine our own lives – our own hearts – whenever we hear it, see it in action, or even read it, to determine if we are truly surrendered to the terms of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

April 27, 2025Big Idea: A good God wants to reveal His plans and His purposes to us. Since our natural bent is always against God, He sent Jesus to us. Jesus is the self-revealing God who has brought the Kingdom of God to us. He came to teach us how to live in a manner that fulfills God's most wise and good intentions for all of us, so that many will come to experience His grace and forgiveness.

Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025Main Idea: The Resurrection of Jesus is our reason and assurance to praise and trust in God. 1. Imperishable Hope: An inheritance kept in heaven for you. Verse 4-52. Invaluable Faith: A faith more precious than gold. Verse 6-73. Inexpressible Joy: a joy found in the object of your faith, not in the cicrumstance of your life. Verse 8

April 13, 2025Big Idea: The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in every Believer. Unless we surrender to Him, we will follow Jesus for the wrong reasons, and we will worship Him in a manner that does NOT glorify God.

April 6, 2025Main Idea: Jesus meets our deepest needs and saves us from our greatest burdens.

Sunday March 31, 2025Lesson of the Day: Don't cling so tightly to your wealth that you miss out on Jesus.

March 23, 2025Main idea: Because Jesus has conquered evil and will judge evil one day, we must seek peace in a world of evil while being filled with grace.

Sunday March 16, 2025Big Idea: We are not only saved by believing the Gospel; we are made holy for God's good purposes! By His grace, we also grow and mature through the Gospel.

Sunday, March 9, 2025Main Idea: A holy God wants to be with us, and we must be prepared for God to address the sin within us. Close intimacy with God will always lead to a distancing from sin.

March 2, 2025Main Idea: God has the power to accomplish his plans through you.
