    Sal once again ordered the Jake Paul fight and once again is left somewhat disappointed; while Dave refuses to acknowledge the fight. Notre Dame legend and college football analyst Brady Quinn joins the show and wonders if Sal has any relation to his favorite pizza place.  Brady discusses his excitement over the Notre Dame/Florida State opener and explains to Dave why Notre Dame doesn't need to join a conference even with the expanded playoff format. A blushing Eddie Spaghetti tells Brady how much he's meant to him then tells Brady about the time he was with the Browns and threw him the beanie he was wearing at Giants Stadium.  Brady then gives his prediction for the National Championship in college football and why we might have a rematch of last season. Sal gives his Crown Royal Crown on the Court to Jrue Holiday as his big series continues and how he's been able to frustrate Chris Paul. Dave and Sal discuss Finals MVP odds. Cousin Sal gives Suns Coach Monty Williams advice to put Chris Paul and Devin Booker on the court at the same time more often and the Suns should be fouling Giannis more at the end of games, sending him to the free throw line. Plus, the Yankees get a big win behind Gerrit Cole only to blow a big lead the following day and lost to the Astros on a Jose Altuve walk-off homerun. Cousin Sal doesn't understand Shirtless Altuve?   It's the MLB All-Star Break and Dave is furious about the uniforms plus Sal suggests an event between angry managers and umpires.     The guys react to the news that the Dallas Cowboys will be featured on this season of HBO's Hard Knocks. Sal has come around on the idea of his team being on it and is optimistic, Dave loves that Jerry Jones knows he's the real star of the team.   Sal and Dave then react to Game 1 of the NBA Finals and how Giannis' status made it difficult for gamblers. Chris Paul continues to be the MVP favorite but Dave is surprised CP3 is getting the John Elway treatment.   Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau defeat Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson in The Match- Dave is frustrated that Rodgers avoided questions about football and wants this to be resolved already while Sal thinks he either plays for the Packers or doesn't play this season. Then the guys discuss Deshaun Watson's future – could he be suspended, traded or play in Houston this season?  In honor of today being 7.7, Dave gives his favorite number 7, Big Ben Roethlisberger a pep talk. Plus, the guys discuss the NFC East and how much improved it will be, Sal doesn't think there will be a wild card team from that division. Dave takes issue with the Phoenix Suns “Valley” jerseys and hopes they go back to their traditional white or purple for the rest of the series.   Cousin Sal has a big futures bet with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Fox Bet Live and is nervous after Montreal won Game 4. Over the weekend, Sal won a Golden Globe presented by Tracy Morgan and Dave discovered his family is hiding Valentine’s Day chocolate from him.    The guys discuss the idea of Kobe Bryant being the new NBA logo and who else deserves to be considered. The Uniformant weighs in on Oklahoma City and Atlanta having to switch jerseys at halftime because of similar color schemes. Dave wonders if shirts and skins still exists in school sanctioned games.    Dave and Sal give their NBA best bets and discuss the Knicks resurgence as they go above .500 this far into the season in nearly a decade. Sal can’t believe a Luka Doncic autographed rookie card sells for $4.6 million dollars and Dave considers selling his treasured Mario Lemieux rookie card. The new NHL schedule is boring to Sal but Dave loves the geographic rivalries, they argue over who is more curmudgeon?       The NFL is likely to add a 17th regular season game – and Dave makes the case that Julian Edelman is a Pro Football Hall of Famer because of his clutch catches in the Super Bowl despite his mediocre regular season statistics. Then it’s time to award our Crown Royal Athletes of the Week and Sal recommends the pink pineapple as an early contender for fruit of the year.
