Nick Sirianni had to answer questions about his team being offside on the tush push. Dabo Swinney said if they're tired of winning, they can let him go. Hour 1 We started the show with the Mets, who had a big first inning and beat the Padres. We have 11 more games to go and the Diamondbacks are right on their heels. Gio is encouraged by last night. Boomer thought he gave up on the Mets. Gio thinks the Yankees should want to play the Astros so they can pay them back. The NFL came out and said Tom Brady is allowed to be in the Raiders' coaches' booth. Boomer has a cold already, so we set the over/under for illnesses for the show this Fall/Winter. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with something strange Al did on Monday that involves him being a ‘penis hypochondriac'. The Mets scored 5 in the first. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and barely hung on to beat the Twins. Cal Raleigh hit his 55th and 56th home runs of the season. In the final segment of the hour, Gio has an odd story involving multiple men in a Penn Station bathroom. Gio has so many questions. Hour 2 The Giants play the Chiefs this week and Boomer said the Giants are going to be in for a rude awakening on offense as the Chiefs have a very good defense. The Chiefs have struggled offensively for the last 3 games. Boomer also said Brian Daboll is not getting fired during the season no matter what happens. In the final segment of the hour, country singer Zach Bryan tried to fight another country artist, Gavin Adcock, at a festival. Hour 3 We started the hour talking about the Yankees and whether their fans want to face the Astros in the playoffs or if they are trying to avoid them. Two of our Yankees fans called and neither thought they could make it to the World Series. Boomer said the AL & NL are wide open for any playoff team to make it to the World Series. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees barely beating the Twins even though they had a 10-1 lead. Francisco Lindor's wife played the National Anthem on the violin before the game. Lindor himself homered a little while later. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs to make it 56 on the year. Jerry Jones was asked about the phrase, ‘glory hole'. Stephen A. Smith talked about Molly Qerim leaving ESPN. In the final segment of the hour, Gio's wife had to go into the city last night for a friend's birthday and that sounds like a nightmare. A Tuesday night Broadway show. Hour 4 Gio talked about taking a flight out of JFK and how expensive it cost to park but we still pay it because we want to get out of there. We also talked about choosing self-checkout over going to a cashier and how valet parking people are sometimes in cahoots with criminals. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first we hear from Cardi B as she said she and Stefon Diggs are having a baby. We heard from Pete Carroll on his relationship with Tom Brady. Brady is playing in some flag football game in Saudi Arabia. The Mets scored 5 runs in the first and beat the Padres. Evan Cedric Mullins homered. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and then barely beat the Twins, 10-9. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs making it 56 on the season. The Moment of The Day: Al had pain down there and used a mirror to find out what was wrong. In the final segment of the show, Mike Hill from Boomer's Foundation stopped by and told us about going to Burning Man.

BT and Sal discuss the mounting pressure on Giants head coach Brian Daboll following the team's 0-2 start. While Sal doubts the Giants' ownership would fire Daboll mid-season, even with a continued losing streak, BT points out that Daboll's overall losing record is a major concern. The conversation highlights the struggle between the team's improved offensive performance and their inability to secure a win, with both hosts questioning if a change at quarterback to Jaxson Dart would be enough to save Daboll's job. They conclude that the team's struggles run deeper than a single player or coach, but that Daboll's position is still very much in jeopardy due to the team's abysmal start to the season.

In a fiery segment, BT and Sal debate whether Giants head coach Brian Daboll's slow start could cost him his job in season, a move Sal thinks is a "bald-faced lie" while BT acknowledges it's a real concern given Daboll's poor record. The conversation shifts to a lighter, yet equally passionate, topic as Sal expresses his intense desire to win a local Emmy, a prize he's been nominated for but has yet to claim, hoping to avoid being the "Buffalo Bills of the damn local Emmys." The hosts then wrap up with their "Bald-Faced Lie, Bald-Faced Truth" segment, providing bold predictions on everything from the Jets' quarterback situation to the Mets' playoff hopes, a "bald-faced truth" that their fans will be tortured regardless.

Sal and BT's show was a rollercoaster of fiery takes on New York sports, anchored by the Yankees' disappointing season and the Giants' grim start under Brian Daboll. The hosts fiercely debated the Yankees' ability to win in the postseason without a division title and with a struggling lineup, while also clashing over the very real possibility of Daboll's job being on the line. The conversation took a lighter, yet equally passionate turn with Sal's personal quest for an Emmy, a dream he is determined to achieve despite past losses. This was all tied together with analysis from NFL insider Brian Baldinger, a sharp takedown of Tom Brady's new dual roles as an owner and broadcaster, and the hosts' signature "Bald-Faced Lie, Bald-Faced Truth" segment, offering unapologetic and often brutal predictions on the state of local sports.

Hour 1 Here we are again, 2 weeks into the NFL season and the Giants and Jets are both 0-2. The Giants played prevent defense which didn't make any sense with the Cowboys having one of the best kickers in the league. Cowboys fans should be concerned that they gave up all that offense to a Giants team that normally can't seem to score. Gio wonders why they put Jaxson Dart in for a few plays when Russell Wilson was having a career game. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and we heard the TD from Wilson to Nabers with :25 seconds to play. We also heard the call of the Cowboys game winning FG. We then heard the sounds of the Jets losing to the Bills as they couldn't stop James Cook. We heard Joe Burrow go down with a serious turf toe injury. Aaron Judge homered again, but the Yankees lost to the Red Sox. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer has a stat-pack stat regarding Daniel Jones and the Colts. "How do you scheme a pass rush when your best weapon is gone and your defense looks lost?"In this electric episode of The Ben and Skin Show, Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray dive deep into the Dallas Cowboys' chaotic win over the Giants — a game that left fans scratching their heads despite the victory. From a 21-play, 110-yard opening drive that felt like a slow-motion car crash to the emergency signing of Jedeveon Clowney mid-game, the crew breaks down the bizarre decisions, questionable coaching, and defensive breakdowns that defined the matchup. KT hilariously dubs Giants head coach Brian Daboll as “Mr. Banana Bread,” questioning his authority as his team spirals with penalties and poor execution. One of the funniest moments? The gang's disappointment that Jerry Jones didn't attempt to pronounce “Jadavian”, robbing listeners of what could've been an all-time Jerry-ism. “We love Josephine Clowney,” KT jokes, imagining Jerry's version of the name. The hosts also dissect the Cowboys' defensive woes — from Micah Parsons' absence exposing the lack of depth, to Donovan Wilson playing out of position, and Matt Eberflus' questionable scheme.

This "Call of the Day" features two passionate callers who are fired up about the New York Giants' recent performance. The first caller, a construction worker, angrily states that if he performed as poorly as Giants offensive lineman James Hudson, he would be fired. The second caller, a longtime Giants fan, pinpoints the team's biggest problem as a lack of defensive aggression, especially in crucial moments. He specifically highlights the defense's passive approach at the end of regulation against the Cowboys, arguing that it's a stark departure from the aggressive, blitz-heavy style that defined their identity under former defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, and a clear failure on the part of Brian Daboll.

BT and Sal break down the Giants' heartbreaking loss to the Cowboys, placing the blame squarely on the shoulders of the entire organization, with a specific focus on head coach Brian Daboll. BT initially targeted the defense, citing their failure to make crucial stops despite a roster built for disruption. However, Sal argued the blame was "all encompassing," pointing to a multitude of issues including stupid penalties, offensive miscues, and poor coaching decisions. They agreed that the loss was a microcosm of a much larger, systemic problem within the Giants organization—a lack of accountability and a "disgraceful" culture that has plagued the franchise for years.

Hour 1 We started the show with reaction to the assassination of talk show host Charlie Kirk and the 24th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of Detroit smacking the Yankees around. The Mets relief pitching stunk again as they lost again to the Phillies. Carlos Mendoza was asked if the team was demoralized. The Packers host the Commanders tonight and Dan Quinn was asked about the Packers. Malik Nabers was asked about always looking annoyed on the sideline. He said he has a ‘natural bitch face' and needs to smile more. In the final segment of the hour, Gio is excited about a documentary coming out called ‘Cocaine Quarterback'. A caller was happy Aaron Glenn cut Xavier Gipson after his costly fumble. Hour 2 We started the hour talking about the Giants as they head to Dallas this week. We wondered when we might see Jaxson Dart. If they have another bad half, they might throw him out there in the second half. Both Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones played great in week 1, which was just awesome for Jets and Giants fans. As much as we were impressed with the Jets, they did blow the game and let Rodgers stand up there as the victor at the podium. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Mets losing to the Phillies for their fifth straight loss. The Mets are not looking like a playoff team. Boomer said the Giants must get the ball in the hands of Malik Nabers at least 10 times this week. Richie Incognito said of Tua's performance: ‘Tua is ass. He looks bad'. In the final segment of the hour, we took a look at week 2 in the NFL and looked at some good teams that could start out 0-2 and whether those teams would go into panic mode. Hour 3 Is this a shot at Garrett Wilson & the Jets? It was a comment from Aaron Rodgers regarding DK Metcalf. Boomer said it sounded like a shot. A caller details how his Giants fandom made him late for work in the Twin Towers on 9/11. A caller said teams like the Saints should look at the Giants as a win. Gio said Jaxson Dart is the final life preserver for Brian Daboll. Jerry returns for an update, but first we talked about Boomer's golf tournament coming up on October 6th. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about drunk Boomer at Boomer & Gio Live, and a caller needs advice on where to eat in Bayshore, Long Island. Hour 4 We started with the 24th anniversary of 9/11. The Phillies ‘Karen' has still not been identified which is amazing in this day and age. We don't want anything to happen to her, it's just strange that they don't know who it is. Gio said kids have finally figured out that going to college in the South is a great idea. Jerry returned for his final update of the day and previewed Giants/Cowboys with comments from Brian Daboll. Russell Wilson talked about ‘being really freaking great today'. The Yankees bullpen was terrible last night. The Moment of The Day: Malik Nabers has a ‘natural bitch face'. In the final segment of the show, Gio said he heard NASA say there was ancient life on Mars.
