It's road trip time as Tariq recalls his memorable but completely hellacious trip to Detroit with three people he would rather not have gone with.  On top of that we talk about the booking nightmare that Halloween Havoc 1994 turned out to be.  In a nutshell, Hogan, Flair, Mr. T., Arn Anderson or Brutus Beefs in a mask, Muhammad Ali, Sting, and Jimmy Hart all get involved in this singles cage match.  What an absolute shit show.  With all that said, Sherri stole the show, watch and you will understand why. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sixmantagpodcast/support

When you talk about parodies there should be one name that comes to mind for everyone, Weird Al Yankovich.  In this week's intro we talk about the greatness of Weird Al and which one of his works we liked most.  Tariq talks about how he credits Weird Al for providing his children a fundamental understanding of English grammar. With regards to wrestling parodies, one of the greatest of the 1990's and maybe of all time is the bWo.  We start of the core of this episode by seeing how many bWo members Jim can recall and then get into a brief look back at the debut match of the leader of the bWo, Big Stevie Cool.  At the end of this episode you will head a funny anecdote between Tariq and his daughter. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sixmantagpodcast/support

Have you ever wanted to beat up your dad?  How many people on earth can actually say that got paid to beat up their dad?  Well, Dominik Mysterio can, and that's one of the reasons why you hate him.   In our intro this week Jim and Tariq talk about their kids challenging them and getting put in their place.  Jim's kids actually tried to physically challenge him which is ridiculous because he's 6'8 and Tariq's daughter actually punched him square in the face!   This match from Wrestlemania 39's first day of events was definitely one of the most memorable matches of the night and undoubtedly will be remembered for years to come as this match clearly established Dominik's place in WWE and today his position as one of the greatest heels in the company is absolutely unquestioned. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sixmantagpodcast/support

Coincidentally this episode was recorded a day prior to Terry Funk's passing so Tariq and Jim didn't provide a career overview of Terry Funk and what he meant to Pro Wrestling.  Quite frankly such a discussion would need at least a month of discussion to do it justice. This week the episode began by discussing moments when Pro Wrestling seemed real to both Jim and Tariq.  Jim and Tariq discuss angles involving Dr. D, Randy Savage, Andy Kaufman and more.   The match itself might quite possibly be one of the greatest in ring debuts ever.  Terry Funk not only establishes himself as a heel but he does so in a unique fashion and is well worth watching.  Some time in the future Tariq and Jim will pay tribute to Terry Funk in a much more appropriate fashion.    --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sixmantagpodcast/support

Jim takes the lead on the play by play this week as we talk about how great the action is in this week's match. Following that we get into our memories of the first exploding bomb matches we ever saw and a good internet list of the greatest bomb matches ever. This week's bomb match classic has plenty of intrigue, story telling and drama but the highlight of this match has to be how absurdly far Mr. Pogo took things in this match. If you have never seen a bomb match before there is no better place to start than this match but be warned this is absolutely not for the faint at heart. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sixmantagpodcast/support

In this week's episode Maku joins the episode to give his own hilarious review of the match (In Japanese). In addition to that, Jim and Tariq talk about their childhood memories of McDonald's and what ever kid born in the 1970's dreamed of. We also focus on some of the differences between McDonald's as you know it and McDonald's Japan. Jim was salivating for most of that segment. The match this week left both of us speechless, shocking, funny, entertaining, no words did this match any justice. In this week's intro you will get to know all about Jim and Tariq's favorite childhood cartoons. In somewhat of a big surprise, Tariq puts a cartoon on his list that Jim totally buries. Is Tariq able to get Jim to change his opinion after his justification? The reason for this week's intro is that this is the first time that we have featured a real life character in one of our matches. This week, Pokotan, a Japanese “Yuru-Kara”, faces off against Chris Brooks in DDT in a match from Korakuen Hall and this match has one of the greatest modern finishes for a comedy match that both Jim and Tariq have nothing but praise for. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sixmantagpodcast/support

This week's match is an incredibly famous historical cage match from Starrcade 1985 but Tariq has a ton of reasons to explain why you should not waste your time watching this match. This week you are in for a treat! For those of you who don't know, Jim, at one time, might have been the world's foremost authority of Firepro Wrestling and today we are talking about Gamerant's list of the greatest wrestling video games ever. Does Firepro get ranked? What does Jim think about this list and what wrestling game will be ranked as number one of all time? For any of you hardcore wrestling gamers out there, you will not believe what was ranked number 1! The reason we talked about video games in our intro this week was because TNA was promoting their video game and used it in Kurt Angle's intro video. So Jim will also provide his thoughts on that game. As far as a match goes, you couldn't have asked for more out of these two guys, but ultimately ridiculous stipulations and nonsensical post match booking ruined what was otherwise an absolutely outstanding match. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sixmantagpodcast/support
