The guys kick things off with a look at the bad blood between Go Shiozaki and Pro Wrestling NOAH over the ZERO1 Title – a messy situation that All Japan Pro Wrestling could benefit from a lot. From there, it's over to All Japan, where STRIGGA brings up the point of production values in contrast to NOAH or NJPW. They'll also talk about HAVOC being over with the crowd and how Shiozaki fits into the group and the promotion. From there, they take it to NOAH's Wrestle Odyssey from Sumo Hall that featured some strong junior matches but plenty of disjointed storytelling. Another question raised and tackled is where New Japan goes next with Konosuke Takeshita as new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Is Okada going to be his Wrestle Kingdom opponent? Is It Tsuji? This could also interfere with possible Tanahashi retirement opponents. Other topics on NJPW include the hit Tag Team Title match, thoughts on the IWGP Women's Championship, a ridiculous Super Jr. Tag League lineup. The final topic includes early speculations about DRAGONGATE's King of Gate winner. Ten years in, the Eastern Lariat remains your go-to source for all things puroresu – insightful, opinionated, and always unscripted!

A cult that feeds a “snake god,” a child ghost with a world-ending grudge, and a mecha built out of a nanotech house—Dandadan season two refuses to color inside the lines, and we're here for every chaotic, heartfelt turn. We trace the Keto family arc from creepy hospitality to the Kurigare reveal, then sit with Evil Eye's devastating backstory and the uneasy pact that turns rage into a weekly “Tuesday duel.” Along the way, Turbo Granny steals every scene, Momo weaponizes real-world worm lore to dry a monster in sunlight, and a rock band proves music can cross the spirit border. The midseason stretch shifts gears without losing tempo: training with exploding notes, a sly maid-café setup that tests chemistry, and razor-sharp banter that keeps the love triangle breathing. Ira doesn't just hover; she plays to win, and Momo's hesitations finally cost her when a space kaiju shrinks to reveal an alien girl who plants a kiss on Okaroon at the worst possible moment. We talk about Kenta's bumpy arrival and why his mecha-nerd toolbox ends up mattering, the nano-skin rebuild that turns a home into a weapon, and how Dandadan blends yokai folklore, sci-fi escalation, and teen longing without losing its voice. We don't let the finale off the hook—there's a difference between a good tease and a cheap panic, and implying Ira's fate in a blast feels like the latter. But the season's core holds: playful, genre-bending, and surprisingly thoughtful about trauma, consent, and control. If you love anime that swings for the fences—yokai battles, space monsters, cursed relics, and ships you can actually root for—you'll feel right at home. Welcome to Wrestling Tonight, your weekly deep dive into everything happening across WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA, and more. This is Episode 134, and we're coming off one of the most eventful weekends of the summer. We start with the fallout from TNA Slammiversary 2025, where AJ Styles returned to the company he helped build. While the Phenomenal One didn't compete, his appearance marked a symbolic homecoming — and perhaps the beginning of something bigger. We break down what his involvement means for the WWE–TNA partnership, what's next for Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne after defending their titles, and how TNA continues to evolve as a major player in the current wrestling landscape. Then — Goldberg is done staying quiet. The Hall of Famer is furious over how WWE handled his final match, venting on the Ariel Helwani Show about being cut off, ignored, and given no real send-off. With his NDA reportedly set to expire in two weeks, we dig into what Goldberg hinted at — and whether WWE might be bracing for a scorched-earth response. Meanwhile in AEW, Tony Khan opens up about feeling double-crossed by AAA during the infamous 2022 tag title switch involving FTR and Dragon Lee. We revisit the moment, what really happened behind the scenes, and why this revelation — combined with AEW's growing relationship with CMLL — signals a full pivot away from AAA in the wake of WWE's pending acquisition. Also on the show: G1 Climax 35 is underway, and early results have already flipped expectations. We've got upsets, injuries, and surprise leaders in both blocks. Seth Rollins' knee injury raises more questions — is it legit or storyline misdirection ahead of a surprise cash-in? Jelly Roll slams Logan Paul through a desk on Jimmy Kimmel Live as SummerSlam hype hits a new level CM Punk praises Triple H, reflects on creative freedom, and previews his title clash with Gunther Roman Reigns returns to Raw, but what's really motivating the One True Chief? KENTA wins the GHC Heavyweight Title at NOAH's 25th Anniversary, setting up a legacy rematch with Marufuji Plus: Omega & Ospreay's time off, WWE's new severance policy, and more

This was an extra special time with the legendary Japanese bass hammer, Kenta Kimura, and Bassmaster Opens Pro, Brad Leuthner. As a fisherman and tackle junkie, I've always wanted to pick Kenta's brain. He's been a major influence in the industry, designing tackle, and being a bridge for many techniques we now know today. It's really cool when you get 3 fishing/tackle crackheads in a room together and mix cultures and perspectives. Brad Leuthner is a master chef in the kitchen when it comes to tackle, especially hair jigs. Not only that, he lines this whole podcast up (knowing I'm a huge Kenta & JDM fan!) Thank you Brad & thank you Kenta! Enjoy as we talk everything bass fishing, including JDM vs. US fishing culture, JDM techniques like the Hideup Coike Field Side Dice and more...hair jigs, crawfish, steak, and eating horse.
