The double-Olympian and multiple-time Commonwealth medallist came into the life of this show back in 2022 when the swimmer chose to open up about his sexual orientation for the first time on our podcast. In the time since then, there've been some downs and a load of ups for Dan – including the mammoth achievement of a second Olympics for the Welshman in Paris – and so it only seems right that Dan joins us to talk about his announcement today that he's retired as a professional athlete. And really, more than ever, this is a chat with one of the many guests we're privileged to have become friends with on this podcast – a reflection on his career, his legacy, the significance of his coming out, what comes next and his highlights from his time inside and outside of the pool.
