Pastor Johnson focuses on clarifying the difference between spiritual gifts and natural talents, a topic he feels he needs to revisit. He emphasizes the importance of recognizing your God-given gift to serve in the body of Christ. Key Points: Time is Short: Pastor Johnson notes that time seems to be speeding up, and God may be shortening it for the elect to better endure. Gifts are from Conversion: Spiritual gifts are given by the Holy Spirit upon conversion to Christianity. Talents are from Birth: Talents are natural abilities given at birth, while not necessarily spiritually aligned. Singing Example: Anyone can be taught to sing in key but some have a natural gift that elevates it to a different level. Five-Fold Ministry: He mentions that Jesus gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. The core idea is that if your life isn't full of success, spirituality, and happy relationships, it's time to reposition yourself with the help of God. The message uses the story of Moses, who had to reposition himself to see God's glory, and the disciples who had to cast their net on the right side of the ship to catch fish, as metaphors for the importance of repositioning. Here are some key points from the message: Repositioning is necessary for a better outcome. It's like moving a fishing net from the left side of the ship to the right side to find fish. Repeating the same actions while expecting different results is futile. If something isn't working, it's time to try a different approach. Ignoring problems you have the power to change will lead to negative consequences, and you can only blame yourself. 2025 should be a year of repositioning to achieve desired outcomes. Perception of Sin: Reposition your perception of right and wrong, good and evil, based on God's word rather than the world's standards. Do not call evil good and good evil as warned in Isaiah 5:20. Relationship: Reposition your relationship with God by reading the Bible more often. Additionally, spend more quality time with family. He provides seven quotes emphasizing the importance of family: In conclusion, the message encourages listeners to take a proactive approach to making changes in their lives by repositioning themselves in various areas with the help of God. It also emphasizes that 2025 should be a year of repositioning to achieve better outcomes and to get the blessings that people deserve from God.
