Pastor Jim Osman explores how finding refuge in Christ requires submission to His divine kingship. Through an analysis of Psalm 2:10-12, he explains how rulers and all people must give attention to God's warning, offer proper worship, and pledge allegiance to the Son. Finding refuge in Christ means embracing His authority and turning from rebellion to reconciliation, understanding that true blessing comes through submission to God's appointed King. ★ Support this podcast ★

Did you know that the Book of Daniel mentions the presence of a powerful demon that has been reigning over Iran for thousands of years? This revelation has profound implications for our understanding of spiritual warfare. As we pray for Jews and Arabs to accept Jesus as their Savior, it becomes crucial for us to delve deeper into this topic.
A new MP3 sermon from The Bible Provocateur is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Navigating Divine Sovereignty and Human Will: The Intricacies of Christian Salvation Speaker: Jonathan Eubanks Broadcaster: The Bible Provocateur Event: Teaching Date: 4/27/2024 Length: 89 min.
Discover the depths of divine intervention in our salvation as we navigate the complex relationship between God's sovereignty and human will. This episode is an enlightening odyssey into the heart of Christian theology, where the ideas of free will, predestination, and the necessity of grace are not just debated but truly unpacked. Prepare to be challenged and inspired as we address the historical and biblical perspectives on how one's eternal destiny is not a matter of personal choice but a divine orchestration that underscores our need for God's enabling grace. Is it possible for humanity, steeped in sin, to seek righteousness on its own? We grapple with this question, examining the doctrine of total depravity and its implications on the human condition. Through scriptural insights, including the powerful narrative of Lazarus, we illuminate the stark parallels between physical and spiritual death, proposing that just as Lazarus needed Christ to speak life into his dead body, so too do we require God's intervention to experience the regeneration necessary for salvation. This episode isn't just a theological treatise; it's a heartfelt exploration into the transformative power of God's grace. As we conclude, we delve into the intricate doctrines shaping the Christian understanding of salvation—unconditional election, irresistible grace, and the perseverance of the saints. These tenets are not mere religious jargon but pivotal truths that can bring comfort and assurance to the believer's heart. Our journey through the scriptures and theology is more than an intellectual exercise; it's a call to marvel at the majesty of God's mercy and to rest in the security of a salvation that is not fragile, but firmly held in the hand of the Almighty. Join us and be renewed in faith, reveling in the glory of God's sovereign choice, and the profound beauty of His plan for redemption.Ashley T Lee PodcastAshley T. The spiritual discourse encourages Christians to understand their 'position' in Christ and how it doesn't change regardless of one conditioning. The speaker clarifies that salvation and acceptance before God, depend upon our 'position', not 'condition'. Using scriptural references, he emphasizes how believers are saved, accepted, and justified through faith in Christ, not by their works. The video concludes with a prayer and a message of gratitude to the viewers for their partnership in spreading the Christian faith. 00:00 Introduction and Invitation to Christianity 00:49 Understanding the Bible: Romans Chapter Eight 01:36 The Song of Daniel Whitley and Its Meaning 02:07 The Struggle of Faith and Assurance in Christ 02:33 The Difference Between Our Position and Condition in Christ 03:22 The Importance of Our Position in Salvation 04:19 Understanding Salvation and Acceptance in Christ 06:45 Justification and Peace Through Faith 07:54 Our Position in Christ: Saved, Accepted, and Justified 09:41 The Unchanging Fact: We Are in Christ 10:07 Closing Prayer and Gratitude 10:47 Partnership in Ministry and Final Remarks --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gnbc/message

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Psalms 107:35-38 — What is unique about the Bible's teaching on salvation? Many religions and philosophies present ways that people can be saved from death and enjoy everlasting peace. In this sermon on Psalm 107:35–38 titled “The Great Christian Salvation,” Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones teaches that the Christian's faith stands apart from all these other worldly teachings because in the holy Scriptures is found a salvation that is wholly miraculous. Becoming a Christian is a miracle of God in that He transforms what is dead and lifeless into a living and breathing new spiritual being. This new birth is impossible according to nature, but with God all things are possible. This message of salvation as an act of God means that it is only by grace that anyone can be saved. Salvation is wholly of God, and therefore it is wholly of His grace. Christians are not called to understand the miraculous nature of God's acts, but are called to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who has come and died for sinners. They are called to believe so that they may be saved. This is the most important message that anyone can hear because it is the only true message of salvation.
Christian Salvation in Less Than 150 WordsI have written over 300 articles and responded to nearly 4,000 comments over the last two years on BCWorldview and Medium.com. There is much I could say about the experience, however my reason for investing the time has been, and continues to be, to use it as a frail way of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Yes, there is much more than the gospel offered in my writing. However, the intent has always been to attract an audience in order to share the greatest gift one can offer another person, an eternal, personal relationship with the Creator of the universe. It is with that thought that I've been boiling down all my core theology over the last few weeks, using the question “What Makes a Christian, a Christian?” as a catalyst. Ironically, that ridiculously long 2500+ word essay, (probably the most important post I have written), can be boiled down to less than 150 words. A Christian is someone who has been saved and will, consequently, spend eternal life in Heaven. So, if salvation (fellowship with Him) is the ultimate intent of God, the singular question of life becomes, how does one “get saved”? To that, I would like to humbly offer a short answer. Salvation, in Two Bible Verses and Less than 150 WordsFor by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9 ESVSalvation, comes through God's grace alone, exclusively through our faith in Jesus Christ, alone. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. - Romans 10:9-10 ESVWe must profess that faith, stated above, by openly acknowledging Jesus Christ as both our Savior and our Lord. Further, we need to believe in our heart (not just our head) that He died and rose again as a payment for our past, present, and future sins. 146 words to be exact. We can all spend our days talking about the latest election results or the theology of speaking in tongues, and everything in between. In the end, we will either go to Heaven or Hell for eternity, regardless of all that we say or all that we do. Solomon, the wisest man (beyond Jesus) that ever lived, said life is “vanity of vanities”. Shakespeare made the same point by saying, “we strut and fret our hour upon the stage and then are no more”. Salvation brings infinitely more to man than anything we can possibly acquire through our own efforts. And, if it can be explained in less than 150 words, how amazing is that!
Salvation often gets reduced down to an insurance plan, to being bailed out of trouble and whatever consequences that we may have coming. However, Christian Salvation is much more than that. Our salvation is a redeeming work of God. Redemption evokes buying something back that has been lost. In Christ, God has bought us all back from sin and desires to bring us back to life. Like with some things for sale in this world, we often question our own worth. In the eyes of God, we are worth a great price - and in the hands of God, we gain a great purpose. In this message, we consider the true nature of our salvation and discuss the hope and beauty of redemption. Our God doesn't waste anything and He is looking to redeem every aspect of our lives. What we may think has been a waste, God is able and willing to turn around for His glory. Like He promised Ancient Israel, He has a better plan than to simply keep bailing us out. He has a redemption plan. From Him, we can receive a new heart, a new spirit, and a new life.
What does it mean to be a Christian? What is Christian salvation all about? I created this podcast to tell you about an infographic with verses included explaining the meaning of what Christian salvation is all about. CLICK HERE to download the graphic or if the link doesn't work, go to https://www.Bible805.com. I put it together as part of a series of lessons I was doing in my Sunday School class on why you can trust the Bible. We were looking at other religions and comparing them to the Christian faith and one of the most important differences is their view of salvation compared to the Christian view. In all other religions, people have to do things to make themselves acceptable to God. The Christian faith recognizes that we can't ever do that and that Jesus died to cancel the debt of our sins. He is the link, the bridge between us and God, and that is what the chart on this video illustrates. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yvon-prehn8/support

KEY TAKEAWAYS:Ignoring Jesus has horrible consequences, including drifting awayWe have such a great salvation. Let us thank God for that salvation and His amazing planIt is easy to drift with the current, but it is difficult to return against the stream. Our salvation is a “great salvation,” purchased at a great price. It brings with it great promises and blessings, and it leads to a great inheritance in glory. How can we neglect it?Too many of us take the Bible for granted and neglect it. When we neglect the Bible and prayer, we can easily drift and get out of step with God. Our dependence on God starts to go away. For more information about this show, includes additional notes and details, please visit the show page here or visit our home page at SeekingourGod.comMusicLife of Riley by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/3976-life-of-rileyLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Conclusion of the Life changing Message of THE LORD, (Part 5) by the Messenger of Eternity, ELIJAH, THE TWO WITNESSES OF REVELATION 11, on how the church extinguished the flames of revival from Pentecost that should still be burning this day, and how the church needs to repent and reignite revival. This Message instructs the church to truly appreciate the tremendous election of GOD over her life that HE choose you before you appeared in your mothers womb-- place gravity upon Christian Salvation.
