With their plan to kill the Anarchs in tatters, Val could not break free of Amy's control, even as her former coterie stabbed Cross with silver daggers. Fortuitously, Cross had planned for the worst, and officers Marcus Safe and Elizabeth Maddox barged in with silver bullets and brought Amy down. Val and Vincent's beasts faced off in a brutal brawl, but once again Cross came to the rescue. Before Val succumbed to her injuries, Cross fed her his own blood. But will Val survive the Camarilla's justice? Featuring our Storyteller Ryan LaPlante (@theryanlaplante) alongside Tyler Hewitt (@Tyler_Hewitt) and Del Borovic (@deltastic). With three nights to find Cross before Amy and Vincent do, Val drove to Calgary and booked a room at the Blue Rose Hotel, unaware of its significance. She awoke to find herself confined, was interrogated by Cross, and learned that Amy and Vincent were the two most dangerous Anarchs in Canada. To avoid Camarilla justice, Val would have to kill them and deny any involvement with them, so she and Cross set out to face them. But how can Val be the backup when she can't even willingly pull the trigger on Amy? Part One of Who Killed The King? Nestled on the western edge of Port Phillip Bay, an hour and a half's drive from the deadly intrigues of Melbourne, lies the state's second most populous city, the sprawling coastal gateway to regional Victoria known as Geelong – G-Town. For the last four decades, an uneasy peace has existed between the Anarchs and Camarilla in G-Town, but vampire intrigues can never really be suppressed. In January of 2021, five young vampires are called together to by an influential ancilla to investigate a Masquerade breach that threatens to destroy the truce that has held since 1983 and bring the city to the brink of war. They have three nights to solve the mystery, or they must choose one of their own to face Final Death. The Coterie calls a meeting of Chicago's Anarch movement and makes a deal they can't refuse, eagrly helping to take care of the incursion of everyone's least favorite vampire sect. “Discovering witnesses is just as important as catching criminals.”– Simon Wiesenthal The coterie remains hard at work as the last nights before a Primogen’s trial tick away. Rebecca, having fled the human horrors residing temporarily in her haven, seeks out a sympathetic ear among Chicago’s Anarchs (1:12) while Maya lures a powerful Ventrue ally to their side with a promise of revenge (24:23). Meanwhile, Schmendrick is left to care for the victims of Lakeshore Hospital — a hungry Gangrel among them — and wait for Khalid to make good on his promise of rescue (39:38). Only after the human casualties of their investigation have been dealt with can she secure the final piece of the puzzle. Schmendrick and Maya, with the help of a new friend, finally confront the would-be assassins captured at the Sky Hotel (58:30).
“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” -H.L. Mencken Kindred do not believe in self-governance. The Camarilla has its Princes, Justicars, and Inner Council. The Sabbat has its Prisci, Cardinals, and Regent. Even the Anarchs, for all their brow-beating about the wisdom of the masses, still rely on their Barons and folk heroes. To be Kindred is to be subject to hierarchy. But not tonight. Prince Jackson has called Chicago’s Kindred together for a vote of singular importance: will the Lasombra be admitted into the city, and by extension, the Camarilla? The coterie assembles in advance of the night’s gathering for a private meeting with an unusually nervous Prince Jackson (10:30) before he begins this singular convocation in earnest (20:14). As the crowd breaks into heated debate, the coterie sets about the difficult work of swaying the vote in their favor. Schemes of all sorts unfold, with Schmendrick enlisting the Nosferatu (25:52) while Joshua and Ivy add a democratic twist to the tabulation process (48:59), Gengis decides to call in a boon (57:16), and Ivy attempts to sway the Tremere out from under DuSable’s grip (1:12:33). The final vote will reveal the fruits of their plotting (1:32:48), but no matter which side wins? Chicago is going to change. Forever.

“A great man is different from an eminent one in that he is ready to be the servant of society.”– B. R. Amdbedkar What are Kindred without politics? Clans and cities alike are held together by centuries-old treaties, the occasional promise, and an ever-shifting web of boons and debts. As much as any one vampire might prefer to live independent of these obligations, they can no more ignore political intrigue than a ship can ignore the wind. The current still nudges the vessel along, whether or not you choose to acknowledge it. No doubt, our four Kindred have yet to realize the gravity of their errand. Chicago’s Prince offers little more than orders, even as he casts the coterie into the grandest of Kindred tides; the kind that shape sects and histories. What starts with a list of names passed via courier in a greasy diner (9:36) will see Ivy, Joshua, Schmendrick, and Rebecca wringing favors from the thin-blood lord of O’Hare Airport (49:16), trading secrets with an infamous Nosferatu broker (1:13:47), and making promises to one of Chicago’s most notorious Anarchs (1:37:44). Welcome to The All Night Society. a Vampire: the Masquerade Camarilla chronicle.

PART 1 of our special Gen Con editions of Vampires of Pittsburgh! The powder keg between the Anarchs and the Camarilla of Pittsburgh has finally reached its apex and our war-band of Gen Con attendees will be the spark that brings the whole thing crashing down.
Come join us for another episode of Show Some Initiative's Nickepedia! Today Nick, our resident Vampire the Masquerade lore expert, walks us through the different sects and clans that make up Kindred Society. This includes the values of the Camarilla, Sabbat, Anarchs, and the relationship between Clan, Sire, and Childe. And most importantly, Nick gives us a breakdown of the Masquerade itself, and why it's so important to uphold... Miles Vanderbuck was recently heard to shout; "I'm here to cause chaos!" and boy-oh-boy did he mean it. As we return to the action with Miles facing down an elder enemy and surrounded by dozens of bloodthirsty Anarchs, let's see if they're his final words.
Meta-Nomad is the host of Hermitix podcast and a writer. In this episode we discuss: trends that the mainstream academy follows - and that it ignores; the popularity of Marxist materialism and the obscurity of mysticism and occultism; subjective and objective ways of knowing; precognitive dreams; technocapitalism as an intelligence; collapse theory and accelerationism; genius and how ideas have people; opening self to the outside; how fantasies are immanentized as fictions, which then inspire reality; how democracy shortens human time horizons, and the implications for civilisation; virtue signalling; tokenism in contemporary culture; Junger's idea of the anarch; how capitalism recuperates attempts to change it because it thrives off unfulfilled desires; accepting defeat; nonlinear time and eschatology; purpose and meaning; avoiding hypocrisy by staring the monstrosity of humanity in the face. Welcome to Episode 8 of New Moon Rising. In this episode, we return to Phyl, Audrey, Elliot and Felix as they dig deeper into the mysteries of Gary and the Anarchs. As day turns to night once again, the gang finds out there's been another attack on an allied anarch coterie. The hunt for information leads them to a mysterious Nosferatu who calls himself, "Picker." He claims to have all the right info to give… for a price. From an odd Elysium to a suburban safehouse, the night grows cold for the dead of Chicago.
Part two of Jamie’s session takes him from the quiet conflict of the Camarilla Elysium to the darkness of Edgewater Hospital. Jamie contemplates his future with the Anarchs as he moves forward in search of an elusive doctor named Rustin. How will his actions impact his coterie, and what secrets will divide them?
in this episode of New Moon Rising, we are finally introduced to Venture Anarch, Jamie. This young Ventrue faces a unique struggle existing around Chicago. This evening, Jamie finds a strange guest waiting for him when he rises for the evening and an invitation he has no choice but to accept. How will clan and tradition impact the Anarchs of Chicago, and how deep do personal loyalties run?

In this episode, our Anarchs go back to the club to recuperate after their conversation with the local Ministry doesn’t go how everyone wants it. The coterie regroups, gets a new vehicle, and heads back to Club Synn the Next evening to do more investigating and hopefully talk to Mama Polari as well.

Ever the popular theme for Vampire: the Masquerade, we review the V20 update to the Anarch Movement with Anarchs Unbound. This book takes a look at how the Anarchs have evolved and exploded (Pun) in the modern age with the growth of technology, political awareness and that one important question, “Why do you obey?” This book was written by Justin Achilli, Alan Alexander, Jason Andrew, Sarah Roark, and Matthew Sanderson for Onyx Path Publishing and released June 23, 2014

A month has passed since our troupe has become one of the Kindred and this episode covers their downtime activities in the interim as well as setting the scene for the racial tension brewing in the city over several unarmed black citizens getting shot and killed for very basic traffic violations. In my version of Chicago By Night, I changed the gangs featured in the Chicago By Night books from the Crips and Bloods to the Mickey Cobras and the Gang Disciples because, if you do any research into gangs in Chicago, the Crips and Bloods actually weren't as prominent in this area as were these other gangs, institutions in the city since the late 40's. Also, we find out what Lodin does to retaliate against the Anarchs and we find out that there may be a mole within the group who tipped the Sheriff off to the location of their meeting. Our chat continues as we talk about some people's favorite faction - the Anarchs.
On our Agenda: Jesse and his lovable bioroid sidekick Wilfy are joined by their old friend and long-time TWA panellist, Hollis Eacho! The panel dives headfirst into Core 2.0 - what does it mean for the game? Is it a good thing? Is the sky falling? Can you still score/steal agendas without your favourite card that is now no longer available for play *cue tears*? Runner side changes - we run through all of the ins and outs for Anarchs, Criminals and Shapers. Have Anarchs been unfairly targeted with the loss of so many key cards, or will they still rise out of the ashes to play a key role in the metagame going forward? Look out for the second instalment of our Core 2.0 review in the coming weeks, highlighting all of the corp changes and what they mean for the metagame. As always, get in touch! The rotation situation continues to evolve, and Nels and Jesse dig into what this means for the Anarchs and Criminals. Are DLR going to be missed? Probably not, but what about everyone's favourite maybe-or-maybe-not bioroid son?
In the third pack of the Red Sands cycle, we see Jinteki has bamboo wackiness, Weyland has shipping locked down, the Anarchs love to keep on punchin' and, apparently, you can never trust the cleaners on Mars.
In this episode, we discuss the the third major Vampire sect: The Anarchs. Released in 1993, this book serves as an introduction for both players and storytellers to the world of Anarch rebellion.
In Episode 14 Pete and BK cover the Anarch Movement and review the book Anarchs Unbound. After Star Wars, Ultron, and Pete's brush with security guards (whilst trying to fulfil a Kickstarter achievement), the duo discuss the role of Anarchs and how they can be used in any oWoD chronicle. We also debut a new segment and talk a little about the Anarchs VTES expansion. As always, you can join us over at the forum, the Facebook page, or drop us a line at midnightexpresspodcast@gmail.com. Continuing to the Anarch half of Order & Chaos, Quinns from Shut Up & Sit Down returns to throw caution to the wind and live like there's no tomorrow! Little unifies the Anarchs beyond their proclivity for destruction and oh boy, does Order & Chaos ever offer up destruction. Between Kim's hammer, Valencia's truth-at-any-cost and MaxX's two finger salute, Anarchs have never been more varied or more vibrant.
Order & Chaos has finally been released! Netrunner's newest deluxe expansion focusing exclusively on the Weyland consortium and the Anarchs is here, providing myriad new options for both factions. Not to break with tradition, Quinns from Shut Up & Sit Down joins Terminal7 to discuss these new developments. In this first of a two-part O&C extravaganza, the new acquisitions of the Weyland consortium are discussed. Replete with credits and infamous for their sometimes harsh measures, O&C sees Weyland aim for the stars with extraterrestrial facilities, ICE and initiatives, perhaps this is a more charitable, progressive Weyland. Then again, they're "liberating" people from tyrants they didn't even know they had, so perhaps not.
Our True Colours are revealed as Nels and Jesse discuss that latest data pack in the Spin Cycle. Additionally, the multi-week faction breakdown continues with the second runner faction and the third corporation. Much to Jesse's delight, we take a look at the indiscriminately destructive Anarchs along with the deep coffers and dubious ethics of The Weyland Consortium.
