WWE RAW 8/10/26 Review: Great Women's Segment, Bloodline BACKSLIDE, Sad Crowd!

Folks, last week's RAW was one of the best shows of the year. This week? Not the same level, and I always tell you the truth, believe me.We opened with Solo Sikoa standing in the crowd singing the Usos' music — genuinely great moment, tremendous natural charisma from Solo. Jey Uso came out and said the Tribal Chief called the play, time to fall in line. Solo fired back beautifully — did Jey fall in line, or just fall off? Jey won the Rumble, beat Gunther, made the kids happy, and now all of that's gone and it "sucks" to be Jey Uso. Solo said he's not coming back to the Bloodline because he loves where he's at. They agreed to a match — Jey wins, he delivers Solo to Roman. Solo wins, the Bloodline leaves him alone forever. Solo's "Pew!" mock warning shot was tremendous. Crowd, unfortunately, was completely dead.Penta beat Laredo Kid in round one of the Number One Contender's Tournament — winner faces Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at the Mexico City RAW. Penta Driver, inverted Michinoku Driver from Kid, Kid misses a tornillo, Penta hits the Mexican Destroyer for the pin. Fun opener, folks.Akira Tozawa versus Austin Theory went way too long. If you want to tell the Oba Femi/Bron Breakker story, do it in its OWN segment, don't bury it in a Tozawa match. Theory won, Breakker speared Tozawa, Oba's music hit and he did his FULL entrance instead of saving anybody. Adam Pearce and his gaggle of geeks jumped in before anything could happen. Tremendous staredown, ruined by the geek parade.Stephanie Vaquer addressed the crowd about missing RAW and, mostly, missing watching Judgment Day run from her. Becky Lynch came out, said Liv's reign is dragging the title back to the mid-2000s, but also said Vaquer gets injured too much to deserve a shot — the title's coming back to HER. Liv attacked Becky from behind, Becky blocked the Oblivion and suplexed her. Vaquer and Lynch had another cold staredown. Women's World Title scene is looking great, folks.Big Cass continues to be tremendous — Dragon Lee beat Dominik Mysterio clean, then Cass jumped BOTH Dragon Lee and Je'Von Evans, standing tall over both. Sol Ruca, with mystery partner Iyo Sky, beat Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez via Soul Snatcher. Fun match.Main event: Jimmy Uso jumped on the apron, Solo accidentally spiked him instead, Jey speared a distracted Solo and hit a top-rope splash for the win. Are we kidding, folks? Solo was FINALLY clicking with the audience on his own natural charisma, and now he goes back to the Bloodline? Who's bringing back Sami Zayn while we're at it?LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and tell me — was sending Solo back to the Bloodline a mistake?Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

And Oba Femi shocked the world, beating Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell!Night Two was even BIGGER: Kevin Owens crashed the Balor-Zayn match with Gunther and stole the win to become #1 contender. Baron Corbin dethroned Trick Williams for the US Title. Chelsea Green won the Interim Women's Title — crowd went CRAZY! Danhausen kept his $100,000 from Dominik Mysterio. Chad Gable shocked Penta to win the Intercontinental Title. What issues are facing young people right now? We got the answers from three La Crosse residents who represent different factions of the Young Democrats. Jake Williams (State Chair of the Young Democrats of Wisconsin), Hannah Dull (Chair of the La Crosse Young Democrats), and Grant Mathu (Vice Chair of the La Crosse Young Democrats & La Crosse County Board Supervisor) stopped by the studio to break down the political and economic landscape for people in their 20s. SHOW TOPICS: The Affordability Grind: Why rent, groceries (frozen pizzas) and healthcare make saving for a home feel impossible — and what government is (not) doing about it. Data Centers & 160-Acre Pickleball Courts: Mathu breaks down the La Crosse County Board's 28-2 vote to pass a data center moratorium, why the issue is uniting voters across party lines, and what happens to these massive facilities in 20 years. The Governor’s Race & Primary Politics: Navigating the Dem Party's primary neutrality, candidate dropouts, ranked-choice voting, and Francesca Hong’s viral stance on data centers. Local Headlines & Pop Culture: Reacting to a bizarre Zoom-hacking incident at a La Crosse Finance & Personnel meeting, local road and pool closures, and why Real Steel and Oblivion hold the answers to modern politics. Good Mythical Morning Hits Netflix, Toxic Fandoms & Would Your D&D Character Survive Real Life?

Geek Freaks

Frank and Jonathan are on vacation, so they dumped out a jar of ten random prompts and let the conversation run wherever it wanted. The result is a loose, funny grab-bag that swings from tabletop confessions to actual streaming news. They open by asking whether their D&D characters could survive a single day in the real world, which turns into a live rescue plan for Jonathan's volatile, faith-questioning gunslinger and a great story about the priest who quietly let a party member die. From there it is physical media versus streaming (with a Netflix boycott and a terabyte of movies packed for a cruise), the most toxic fandom corners (Pokemon card scalping, weighed packs, and Star Wars media literacy), the games everyone owns but never finishes, retro comebacks worth reviving, and the classics they think are a little overrated. The back half gets newsier with Good Mythical Morning heading to Netflix as a daily show, a debate about Emmy legitimacy versus chasing a new algorithm, and a closing round on which fictional universe would actually be miserable to live in. Timestamps and Topics 00:00 Intro and Vacation Filler Setup 00:24 Would Your D&D Character Survive Real Life? 07:03 Physical Media vs. Streaming 10:32 The Most Toxic Fandom Corners 17:11 Games You Own but Never Finished, Plus Retro Comebacks 22:05 Overrated Classics and Villain Redemption Arcs 27:07 Casting the D&D Campaign 29:11 Good Mythical Morning Heads to Netflix 34:36 The Fictional Universe That Would Actually Suck Key Takeaways Instead of retiring a chaotic character, Frank pitches turning Jonathan's crisis-of-faith gunslinger into someone actively fighting a chaos god, a reminder that a table can repair a character rather than shelve it. The physical media conversation lands on owning your favorites, fueled by climbing Netflix prices, Christmas movies that vanish from streaming, and a stack of downloads big enough to survive a stranded cruise ship. Pokemon card culture gets named the most toxic fandom corner, from pack-weighing and resale fights to Target reportedly cutting boxes open to kill the scalper market. Media literacy is the throughline for the Star Wars and Dungeon Crawler Carl "too woke" complaints, since both were anti-fascist and anti-capitalist from the start. Gaming talk hits the Oblivion remaster, cautious hope for Elder Scrolls VI amid Xbox layoffs and Bethesda leaning on proven IP, and one very honest Elden Ring skill check. Good Mythical Morning moving to Netflix drives the biggest debate: fresh cash and Emmy legitimacy on one side, the risk of chasing a new algorithm and turning away from YouTube on the other. Quotes "If you think it's too woke, it's been that way from the beginning." "We have to make our point with our wallet." "I return and tell him he was already dead." "I got my ass handed to me so hard I returned it within two hours." "Don't turn your back on YouTube after you literally built your success." Peso Pluma Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Peso Pluma has just lived through one of those weeks that end up as a whole chapter in a future biography. The biggest personal headline is the confirmed end of his relationship with Kenia OS, and the way it unfolded tells you a lot about how he manages his image. Entertainment outlets on Instagram report that in the last few days he quietly deleted every photo and post featuring Kenia OS from his social media, scrubbing their digital history together. According to multiple Latin entertainment accounts, Kenia OS then issued a formal statement on her main Instagram profile confirming that the couple had decided to end their relationship and emphasizing that it was an amicable split. She characterized it as a mutual decision, closing the door on fan speculation that they were just taking a break. Pages like Soy Grupero style gossip reels are calling it the definitive end of a romance that had become a pop‑culture storyline in its own right. That breakup moves the narrative of Peso Pluma decisively back toward his music and business. On TikTok, Pedro Tovar of Eslabon Armado recently played a preview of an upcoming collaboration titled Oblivion, tagging Peso Pluma and teasing a track that could extend the hugely successful creative chemistry that first put both acts at the top of the regional charts. Because this preview is coming directly from Tovar's own account, it carries more weight than the usual rumor mill, and it points to Peso Pluma continuing to bet on high‑impact duets as a core career strategy. In parallel, fan and media accounts continue to reinforce his status as a touring powerhouse and cultural reference point. The official Facebook page for Santander Arena in Pennsylvania resurfaced photos of his recent concert there while wishing him a happy birthday, describing him as one of the breakout forces in Mexican music with multiple back‑to‑back number one hits and now based in the United States, underscoring his crossover life and career arc. Sneaker and culture platform Complex Sneakers reposted a clip remembering when he “cashed out” on shoes at ComplexCon and got blessed with extra pairs by fellow star JLP, a reminder that Peso Pluma has become a fixture not just in music but in streetwear and youth culture. On the softer side of coverage, culture pages like CultrGio on Instagram are using his birthday moment to frame him as one of the biggest names in Mexican music of the last few years, reinforcing his rapid evolution from local corridos singer to global streaming figure. Commentators also keep invoking his appearances at major festivals and his placement alongside artists like Dolly Parton and the Beastie Boys in SXSW retrospectives as evidence that he is now viewed as part of the broader pop‑culture canon, not just a niche regional act. Social media remains the main stage for all of this. Over the past few days, the breakup cleanup on his profiles, combined with a steady stream of fan edits, birthday shout‑outs from venues and culture pages, and collaborator teases, paints a picture of an artist consolidating his brand after closing a very public romantic chapter. Unconfirmed rumors circulating in Spanish‑language gossip reels suggest that the breakup might subtly shift his setlists and onstage banter in upcoming shows, but for now there is no direct confirmation from Peso Pluma himself beyond the visual erasure of his past posts with Kenia OS. In biographical terms, the last few days mark a hinge moment: a very public relationship officially ends, his social feeds are re‑curated to center only on his art and image, and the next wave of collaborations is already being positioned. That combination of personal reset and professional momentum is likely to loom large when we look back at this period in his story. Thank you for listening, and make sure you subscribe so you never miss an update on Peso Pluma, and search the term Biography Flash for more great biographies. Thanks for listening. THE FIRST ALL-STAR GAME with author Randall Sullivan What happens when a botched assassination attempt on a president, the “Outfit,” the Great Depression, and the Legend of Babe Ruth collide in Chicago? Author Randall Sullivan reveals how the first so-called “Game of the Century” helped pull America out of its darkest era. Discover the untold history of baseball's first All-Star Game and the legends that shaped the sport. In 1933, an assassin fired six bullets at President-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt in Miami. Every single bullet missed FDR, but they fatally struck Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak. Out of the political chaos of that assassination, a city's desperation to escape the shadow of Al Capone's crime syndicate, and the darkest, most terrifying days of the Great Depression, an unbelievable gamble was born. To save the city's morale, a new mayor and a sports editor dreamed up the ultimate distraction: the first Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The Book THE FIRST ALL-STAR GAME: Babe Ruth, FDR, and America at the Crossroads (Atlantic Monthly Press, June 2, 2026) Summary Brian O'Leary sits down with three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee Randall Sullivan to discuss his new book, THE FIRST ALL-STAR GAME: Babe Ruth, FDR, and America at the Crossroads (Atlantic Monthly Press, June 2, 2026). Sullivan explains that the book was born from his discouragement over modern political polarization, leading him to research how the United States survived the Great Depression. The conversation traces the chain reaction of events that created the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and the first-ever All-Star Game. This includes a Miami assassination attempt on President-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt that resulted in the death of Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak. Throughout the episode, we dive into the towering mythos of Babe Ruth, noting that his absence in 1925 caused American League attendance to plummet. We also explore the cultural fallout of the 1919 Black Sox scandal, the iron-fisted rule of Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis, and the forgotten legacies of players like Chuck Klein and Lefty O'Doul. Key Takeaways The Origins of the All-Star Game: The 1933 game was staged as a one-off exhibition for the Chicago World's Fair. It was pitched by sports editor Arch Ward to Mayor Edward Nash to boost morale after Mayor Cermak's tragic death. Babe Ruth's Unmatched Stardom: Ruth's absence due to illness in 1925 caused American League attendance to drop by 34%. Furthermore, he holds the top three WAR (Wins Above Replacement) seasons in Major League history. That's just the tip of the iceberg of the Ruthian Legend (and reality). The Black Sox Legacy: The 1919 scandal resulted in a complicated trial where players were acquitted by a working-class jury. However, Judge Landis later banned them for life, restoring baseball's image in the eyes of the outraged American public. Overlooked Baseball Legends: Sullivan argues that Lefty O'Doul deserves Hall of Fame recognition. O'Doul not only hit .398 with 254 hits in a 154-game season, but he was also instrumental in bringing baseball to Japan and in developing it there. Chapters Introduction to Randall Sullivan and his new book, The First All-Star Game. Finding inspiration in America's resilience during the Great Depression. Unfairly judged players: The forgotten greatness of Chuck Klein. Why Lefty O'Doul deserves a spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Final thoughts on the historical significance of the 1933 All-Star Game. Memorable Quotes “If Michael Jordan had been injured in a season, maybe NBA attendance would've dropped by 3.4%… but without Babe Ruth, it dropped by 34%.” – Randall Sullivan “I want people to understand… that this was more than a game. It was a turning point in American history.” – Randall Sullivan Resources Mentioned THE FIRST ALL-STAR GAME: Babe Ruth, FDR, and America at the Crossroads (Atlantic Monthly Press, June 2, 2026). - Trump detonates global panic with a post threatening to wipe out Iran's infrastructure, turning the next few hours into a live test of whether this is high-stakes bluff or real escalation.  - The entire conflict is framed as hinging on one deadline, with a deal presented as victory and a full strike on bridges and power plants portrayed as a presidency-defining gamble. - Critics across media and politics call the rhetoric unhinged and dangerous, while supporters argue the threat is the only language Tehran's rulers understand. - The rescue of the downed U.S. aircrew is held up as a breathtaking display of American military power that deserves far more attention than the media is willing to give it. - Artemis II offers a sharp contrast to the war drama, with the moon mission cast as proof that America still produces awe, ambition, and world-beating achievement.
