Oliver the 2nd is a rapper out of Fontana, CA (the I.E.) who's been honing his craft for years. He's been collaborating with his cousin Jeremiah Jae since before Jae was signed to Brainfeeder, he was featured in a Boiler Room episode with Jon Wayne, Zeroh, and Azizi Gibson, and he's had the opportunity to work with Alchemist multiple times over the last few years. Clearly he's in a circle with some of rap's elite, so why did he almost disappear for 6 years? He released his last project in 2014, only popped up on collaborative records and compilations, and then released the spectacular "Lingua Franca" EP in November seemingly out of the blue. After running across the record I wanted to get to the bottom of his hiatus, and how we knew so many of the same people without ever running into each other in the past. Hear us talk about battling at both lunch periods, working with Alchemist, and approaching his music with refreshed dedication. -Lee --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

We had a good friend of ours, Suntina, join us for this episode where we get into a conversation about the hook up culture in college these days. After that, we dig into Johnnie/Bennie sports talk because we've got it like that and everyone loves Johnnie/Bennie sports. To conclude the episode like we always do, a little new music for you guys from Rakeem Miles, the Chainsmokers ft. Illenium, and Azizi Gibson(explicit). Enjoy folks ~ **DISCLAIMER** There some pretty amateur audio work in this episode so bear with us a little bit please :)
Azizi Gibson joins Chuck Dizzle & DJ HED to reminisce on his first rap names, being exposed to hip-hop while living overseas, how that translates to his music, reality vs. social media, why he's a Xenophile and what his "F*CK IT" number is.
