He began his career in basketball as a student manager at UCLA. Ludwig spent almost a decade at UCLA during different time spans having a variety of roles, including video coordinator, director of scouting, and director of player development. During his time at UCLA he coached plenty of current NBA players; this list includes: Russel Westbrook, Kyle Anderson, and Norman Powell.Ludwig is entering his 10th season on the Broncos coaching staff along with head coach Herb Sendek.
