POPULARITY
What if the very personality traits people called “bossy” in you are actually your most powerful gifts? On this eye-opening episode of Thrive Loud with Lou Diamond, we sit down with Andrew Adames—a Brooklyn native turned Floridian on a mission to empower others to become the best versions of themselves. Andrew's journey moves from humble beginnings and career uncertainty to personal transformation and purposeful leadership, showing how anyone can uncover hidden talents and harness their unique strengths.Key Highlights:From Rock Bottom to Empowerment: Andrew recounts moving to Florida with nothing but a suitcase and how his dad's leap of faith jumpstarted his journey.Spotting Hidden Leadership: Hear how an insightful supervisor at SeaWorld saw Andrew's potential, setting him on a path to discover his calling as a leader, trainer, and, ultimately, passionate coach. The Breakthrough Moment: Andrew shares a moving story of helping a woman realize her “bossy” side was actually raw leadership ability, triggering a life-changing perspective shift for her—and inspiring Andrew to dive deep into personal development.Built Unstoppable: Learn about the coaching mastermind Andrew runs with Nate Green, focused on helping people and coaches discover their core, long-term motivation (the “fire logs”), and personal “lighthouse” to navigate toward purpose.Coaching the Coaches: Why helping leaders and coaches clarify their own strengths and stories is key to their impact—and how lingering childhood beliefs often hold back even the most capable adults.Legacy in Action: Andrew reveals the deeper “why” that fuels his work: leaving a legacy that leaves a legacy, and finding meaning in every connection, big or small.Follow-Up Resources:Connect with Andrew Adames on socials: @theAndrewAdamesLearn more about the Built Unstoppable mastermind and coaching programs: successwithNateGreen.comRecommended read: “Suck Less Do Better” by Nate GreenIf you're ready to turn “weaknesses” into superpowers, lead with purpose, and start leaving a legacy today, don't miss this episode. There is no closer controversy! Our worrywarts break down the Brewers series (Birdsong! Doval! WILMER! Adames? Hicks? WALKER?!) and then ask the questions:Are the Giants fielding their best roster? What will it take for young starters like Hayden Birdsong, Kyle Harrison and Carson Wisenhunt to get a shot? Why are the Giants using Sean Hjelle to dominate washed up AAAA players? Will Christian Koss become our new closer? (OK, maybe not that one.)Our new cocktail podcast, The Perfect Sip, is on hiatus but new episodes are in production. (Yeah, it's taking a long time ... life, you know?) Teddy and Teddy break down all of this past weekend's fight action including Gervonta "Tank" Davis's fight against Lamont Roach on March 1, 2025, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn which ended in a controversial majority draw. The bout was marked by a contentious moment in the ninth round when Davis unexpectedly took a knee after a glancing jab from Roach. Referee Steve Willis initiated a count but then deemed it not a knockdown, a decision that significantly impacted the final scorecards. Two judges scored the fight 114-114, while the third had it 115-113 in favor of Davis, allowing him to retain his WBA lightweight title. Teddy talks about the controversy, the referee and gives an in-depth breakdown of the Championship Fight. Also, Teddy breaks down the undercard bouts as well as the Main Event from Belfast between Paddy Donovan vs Lewis Crocker. Another bout with the referee surrounded by a controversial ending.

On this week's episode, we begin by discussing the Giants landing their shortstop of the future by signing Willy Adames to a seven-year, $182 million contract, the largest in franchise history. From there, we discuss Luis Severino landing the largest contract in A's history, Clay Holmes signing with the Mets as a starter, Tyler O'Neill and Gary Sanchez heading to the Orioles, Shane Bieber heading back to Cleveland, and Aroldis Chapman signing with the Red Sox. To wrap up, we talk about the absurdity of the newly proposed Golden Bat rule,
Buster Posey, with one stroke of the pen, did more for the Giants in free agency than Farhan ever did when he inked shortstop Willie Adames to a 7-year, $182 million deal.

It's a post Thanksgiving edition of the show, as host T.J. Rives and insider Dan Rafael return to go over the one prominent fight of the weekend and hear from a muti-division world champ and more on the "Big Fight Weekend Preview Podcast."First, the guys talk Saturday's Matchroom Boxing/DAZN card in Birmingham, England as former world champ Sunny Edwards battles. Galal Yafai, for vacant WBC interim flyweight title. These two have history as amateurs that make this bout more intriguing.Next, hear Dan with Emanuel Navarrete as he defends the WBO junior lightweight title in a mandatory rematch with interim titlist Oscar Valdez in the Top Rank/ESPN main event Dec. 7 in Phoenix. The hard hitting Navarrete has had some struggles of late, but he does own a win over Valdez. Then, there's plenty of news as Dan broke the story of the probable lineup for the Feb. 22 "Riyadh Season" card: Heavyweight Daniel Dubois meets Joseph Parker, for Dubois' IBF title and also, light heavyweights Artur Beterbiev will battle Dmitry Bivol in a rematch for Beterbiev's undisputed title.Dan has also learned that junior middleweight Vergil Ortiz Jr. will likely fight Jaron “Boots” Ennis, for Ortiz's WBC interim title in what would be a compelling bout between the two unbeatens. And, middleweight Carlos Adames likely takes on top contender Hamzah Sheeraz, for Adames' WBC title.Plus, Dan is hearing of a possible Shakur Stevenson against top prospect/contender Floyd Schfield world lightweight title boutbeing added to card. The guys discuss Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions taking the rare step to address speculation and rumor that there were stipulations in the Mike Tyson bout like there would be no knockdowns, etc. We have more on Teofimo Lopez announcing on social media that Eddy Reynoso will now train him along with his dad. Dan is also reporting that Edgar Berlanga is slated to headline on a Matchroom/DAZN card March 8 in Puerto Rico, his first time fighting there and his first fight since the loss challenging super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez in September. Finally, some Nostalgia as on.November 26, 1982 -- 42 years ago on Tuesday – Larry Holmes brutally dominated Randall “Tex” Cobb In Houston to retain the WBC heavyweight title live on ABC in such a one-sided destruction that legendary figure Howard Cosell quit boxing commentating. And also, on November 27th 2004 – 20 years ago on Wednesday – Mexican legends Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales met in very close fight, as Barrera won the WBC junior lightweight title in the EPIC third fight of their legendary trilogy. Barrera goes 2-1 in the series and Big Dan was ringside at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It's all on the "Big Fight Weekend Preview Podcast" and make sure to follow/subscribe on Apple/Spreaker/Spotify, etc.!

From 'Play Tessie' (subscribe here): Gordo, Sammy, and Pat react to the news of the posting of Japanese pitching sensation Roki Sasaki and the unique situation he finds himself in this offseason. Just how wanted is Sasaki and the Red Sox chances that they can convince Sasaki to sign with Boston. Then, rumors surface about Boston's interest in free agent Willy Adames, but is that the right move for the Sox to make? Adames would be willing to make a position change, but the change might not be convincing for the guys.
We debate whether the Dodgers should pursue free agent shortstop Willie Adames. We also discuss if they should break the bank for a star pitcher or go bargain basement shopping like theyve done at times in the past

Hour 2: Why was Jesse Winker talking trash in Game 1?
The Brewers endured an ugly 2-4 homestand at home before a west-coast trip, and though their lead in the division is still safe, did we learn about any new cracks in the foundation? Brewers reporter Curt Hogg and host JR Radcliffe look at the forgettable showings against the Cardinals and Rockies, including some curious roster decisions to send down the team's best reliever to Class AAA and not promote Jacob Misiorowski. Are there any changes to the perception about what the playoff rotation could look like, especially after an amazing Tobias Myers start? Willy Adames keeps homering, Jackson Chourio calls his shot, and which wild-card opponent presents the best matchup? In Three Up, Three Down, they discuss the ground causing the fumble, Isaac Collins sharing a football backfield with an ex-Badgers basketball player and whether or not the three-run homer thing with Adames is really, like, a real thing to get excited about. Remembrew When goes back to 1982 for some September frustrations, and Curt Blanche revisits a personal triumph at Helfaer Field. Then, JR is joined by Brewers great Gorman Thomas and producer Kelly Kahl, the driving force behind new documentary "Just a Bit Outside," which examines the 1982 Brewers team that went to the World Series and became the apple of Milwaukee's eye.
