Dylan Owen, CISSP-ISSEP-ISSMP GNFA GCFA - Associate Director Raytheon Cyber Services speaks to Don Witt of the Channel Daily News, a TR publication about the current state of corporate security. The pandemic basically expanded the limit of the corporate perimeter, normally protected by the firewall, so much that some think it is the end of the perimeter. Others look at it as expanding the perimeter to areas not previously conceived. Yet, others look at micro-perimeters around locations, equipment, or other related components. Dylan Owen Dylan explains that due to the perimeter redefinition and flexibility, a Zero Trust solution needs to be embraced by corporate entities. Knowing where to start is key, even though some Zero Trust components may already be in place. Take a step back and identify Individual/Department/application needs. Company policies will evolve from the detailed assessment. Dylan and his team can help with the assessment and the implementation. Listen in, Raytheon can help with your security needs. Dylan Owen is a husband, father, teacher, and coach. Five years ago, he was recently married and starting his dream job. Dylan discusses with me just how coincidentally pieces of his life have fallen together. What seemed like a low point in college ended up guiding him to exactly where he needed to be. A baseball injury during this time indirectly led him to both his wife and his job. Dylan now shares the life lessons he's experienced during the low points to positively impact his students and players.

Dylan Owen has been one of my favorite Hip-Hop artists for years now, so it was great to have the opportunity to sit down with him on this episode of The Ben Steele Show. During this episode, Dylan and I talk about the underground Hip-Hop scene, his own growth as an artist, where he draws his inspiration, what drives him daily to share his music and about his new album "Holes In Our Stories". In addition to music, Dylan talks about his life in NYC, his daily routine, creativity and other aspects of his life that are important. Whether you have a love of music or not, this episode has value for everyone. Listen to Dylan's music on Spotify or iTunes.
the man. the myth. the legend. i can't tell you how long i've been waiting for this episode. one of my best friends and dopest artists/songwriters i know blessed me with this interview right before i came to thailand. he's the last friendly face i saw before taking the leap abroad, and there's a reason why. Dylan Owen has been one of my best friends since I was 19 years old. it's absolutely crazy to think about, i can still remember the day we met. you might say i have a bit of a man crush. and i'd say you're right. Dylan gave me my first chance at a real performance when he brought me on as his hypeman back in 2010. we opened for Mac Miller (RIP), Chris Webby, and did countless open mics together. we played everywhere from Webster Hall in NYC to the lunchroom in the dining hall at college. He is preparing to drop his most authentic and well crafted album to date, and i came to NYC to hear about it. in this episode we talk about growing up in Orange County, life at cornell, rap battles, his inspiration behind the new music, and what it takes to be this vulnerable as an artist in 2018. i can't wait for you all to hear this one, and i'm already excited for part 2. grab a coffee, prep for your road trip, or find a comfy seat in the subway and come have a blast with us on the LES. With spring truly making itself known you'd have thought this Fix would've been tinged with sunshine and ice cream. Well it isn't. Hopefully though between the refreshing honesty of unsigned rapper Dylan Owen, 'Rock & Rhyme' of Brighton's Icarus Youth and beautiful Canadian folk of Wake Owl, you won't mind too much. Oh, and with a brilliant track from Iwan Rheon, or as you probably know him, Simon from Misfits, surely all is forgiven?
