The economy is crashing and the boomers are more furious than that time they found your marijuana smoking device in your dorm room and the markets are more red than your eyes. CHAOS, CONFUSION. Netanyahu came to visit the White House and we learned Hamas leaders didn't even offer their captives a wink. Animals! A new conflict is popping off in Africa, the whole continent is going to Sahel. Europe is STANing for Central Asia. Ukraine is claiming the Chiners are sending soldiers to fight for the Rooskies. Trump stationed some bombers at the Carlos & Charlies nearest to Tehran. The French far right are respecting the rules. Viktor Orban is doing anything but, and Israel is back to bombing Hamas/Gazan people. This is a fun one. We can not live happily without an assured future! We have no such assurance. Alan WattsOur problem is that we can not live total in the here and now and so we have to suffer!Imagine, you are in an extremely hopeless situation. When you would be totally in the here and now, you would not suffer. Because:1.) You would not have the time to suffer. 2.) You would be in the flow.3.) You could even enjoy your time! For instance, all these great heroes in the Wars,- they enjoyed their time because it was so exciting. Today we live more and more in an abstract world that our mind has created. And so we think that our thoughts are the reality and cannot discriminate between reality and our self-created world from our mind. Our mind can only live in the past or future. If we are in the here and now there is no space for the mind. Even the time stops, there is no time.Through our intellectual, we get tempted to live in the past or future. If our mind creates some problems and wants to solve them in the future our time is ruined. We waste our time for thinking instead of enjoying. For what we need positive thinking when we enjoy our time in the here and now?Our problem is that we are identified with our thoughts. Our mind controls our enjoying and we can't control our mind!If we worry: Solution 11.) Make a worry list. 2.) Prioritize your worries, sort the worst worries at first… 3.) Imagine and feel the worst outcome of your worries, and write them down. 4.) Find for every worry a solution.5.) And your worries are done or over!Solution 2The remedy is to meditate to enjoy our here and now and to drop our thinking.Solution 3Make Qigong for your spleen. On the left side, beneath the rib cage is the spleen. Sit down on a chair. We approach the rib cage from the belly and then grip with both hands under our rib cage as deeply as possible. Start to massage the spleen under the rib cage while making the sound 'Hu' (English: Who). After some time we alter the procedure then tap this area with one hand on the ribs and the other below the navel, while continuously making the 'Hu' sound. Make this for at least 5 minutes. Greetings! This recording is my first ever podcast for this website, and also my first solo recording in a long while. That is why I aim to keep my podcasts short, at least when I'm doing solo. So yeah, half an hour yapping and getting things warmed up. Starting, of course, talking about who I am and what I do and I did do as far as online presence is concerned. Did a small talk about Idols, one of the few instances that I will talk about in the show because I am not an Idol fan. Then talk about what's different this time around and what cool bells and whistles I bring to the table. Then lastly, smalltalk about Ozine and what I will do when it comes to event coverages. I'll be refining and doing more shows in the future. I'll also publish this one on anchor.fm since they seem to have a feature of publishing podcast content through all of the known aggregators that is relevant in the webs. Oh, did I tell you that this podcast is 99.9% English? Who could've thought, right?
4 students (but three new ones). 1 pack of children's Trivial Pursuit cards (actually trivia questions off the internet this week). What could possibly go wrong (well we've already lost the format and our regular host so maybe we shouldn't ask that question)? In this one-off, special edition of Insert Question Here we go all Halloweeny with three brand new panellists to cover all topics spooky and strange. What colour are pumpkins really? Why can't English students speak English? Who exactly is Geoffrey the ghost? Guess you'll just have to listen to find out! Mwahahahaha...
