Jason and Jared catch up after Gregg Berhalter announced his 26 man roster for the September camp... and then updated it even further due to injuries. The biggest surprise was at striker with Ricardo Pepi getting the call and Jordan Pefok being left at the top of the table in Germany. The guys debate why Gregg made this decision and if there is still a path for Pefok to go to Qatar. Plus, with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Chris Richards dropping out of camp with injuries - Mark McKenzie and Erik Palmer-Brown get the call up. The guys debate why they got the call over an in-form Tim Ream. Finally, Jared introduces a new game to the crew "Cap or Crap" to close out the show. Thanks to everyone who called in! Shades of Blue is back for the first offseason podcast and there is already plenty to talk about. A complete season wrap-up is coming soon, but first we talk rumors and renegotiations that are on the minds of Sporting Kansas City fans. FC Barcelona have joined Bayern Munich, among other clubs, with interest in youngster Gianluca Busio. What league around the world best suits the 18-year-old? How much money is he actually worth? Is it possible he leaves for free like Erik Palmer-Brown? So many questions. Sporting KC declined the option of their #10 Felipe Gutierrez, but he isn't gone just yet. The two sides are renegotiating the contract and we discuss the likelihood the Chilean will return for the 2021 season. Roger Espinoza is also in the same situation, although his contract had expired. This show is pretty confident a deal with get done for Roger, but what would the team look like without these two? In other earth shattering news, the MLS Re-Entry draft took place and Sporting picked up a goalkeeper after declining the options of Eric Dick & Richard Sanchez. Learn more about your ad choices. The Armchair Analyst is rested and ready for his return to the ETR lineup, and just in time too because there's plenty to talk about after an MLS weekend that saw David Villa hit the 50-goal mark, Josef Martinez make a triumphant Atlanta United return and the Fire establish themselves as the only real contender to Toronto FC. Oh, and there was drama, too. It's been a tough few months for Real Salt Lake. Three points via a Yura Movsisyan goal were huge, but it was the forward's finger-to-the-lips celebration that got people talking. Was it directed toward Mike Petke? The guys break it all down, and even dive into a few transfer rumors. Are Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris actually BFFs (best friends forever)? The answer, after sitting down the pair, is a resounding yes. You won't want to miss an exclusive interview with two of MLS's top young players, in which they discuss their sleeping habits on the road (it gets a little weird), what it feels like to be an MLS Cup champion and what they do to improve every single day. And while they're teammates now with the Sounders, both hope to link up when the US national team gathers for the Gold Cup this summer. Roldan takes you inside his decision to pursue a future with the US, while Morris explains how he deals with the pressure that follows him wherever he goes. In the mailbag, it's rumor time. Would Andres Guardado be a good fit for LAFC? What about Jakub Blaszczykowski to the Fire? And could Sporting KC lose Erik Palmer-Brown after this season?
