What if the part of your life that looks like a mess is actually evidence that God is working? We love the finished product, the breakthrough, the growth, and the transformation. But when God is changing us, the process does not always look like progress. Sometimes things have to be inspected, removed, repaired, and rebuilt before we can see what He was creating all along. In this episode of She's Made to Flourish, we're talking about what it looks like to trust God in the middle of the renovation even when all you can see is mess.In this episode, we'll talk about:• The five stages of spiritual renovation: inspect, demolition, repair, rebuild, and finish• Why God may reveal things you can no longer ignore• What happens when God removes what cannot stay• Why strengthening the foundation may come before visible progress• How to stop using appearance as your only measurement of growth• Trusting the Builder when you cannot see the finished result• Why navigating change requires grace, grief, and gritYour Flourish Practice for this episode is The Renovation Check-In—a simple exercise to help you identify what stage of renovation you may be in, what God could be doing in that season, and one practical way you can cooperate with His work this week.Don't judge the renovation while God is still working. What looks like a mess in the middle may be part of something beautiful being built.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━JOIN THE GARDEN ROOMamandarosshardin.com/the-garden-roomThe Garden Room is our free community for Christian women, featuring monthly Bible study and a weekly podcast worksheet to help you apply the Flourish Practice from each episode.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━EXPLORE COACHING WITH AMANDAamandarosshardin.com/coaching━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━CONNECT WITH AMANDAWebsite: amandarosshardin.comInstagram: @amandarosshardin━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Subscribe to the She's Made to Flourish Podcast for honest conversations, biblical truth, and practical tools designed to help you move from surviving to flourishing.Let me know in the comments: What is one area of your life that feels messy right now, but God may actually be renovating?Hosted by Amanda Ross-HardinCertified Christian Life Coach and Director of Called Coach Institute

What if the reason your new season feels uncomfortable is because the old systems can't support where you're going? We love the reveal, the growth, the transformation, and the new beginning. But before something new can be built, something old may need to be dismantled. In Episode 2 of The Cost of New, we're talking about why your next season may require new habits, boundaries, rhythms, and systems. In this episode, we'll talk about:• Why what worked before may not work anymore• Giving God both your permission and your participation• Choosing what is necessary over what is comfortable• Why we're tempted to rebuild familiar patterns• How to create new infrastructure for your next seasonYour Flourish Practice for this episode is The Renovation List—a simple exercise to help you identify what needs to be demolished, what needs to be built in its place, and one practical step you can take this week.Don't mistake demolition for destruction. What if the new thing you've been praying for requires you to let go of something you've grown comfortable with?We love asking God for new seasons, new opportunities, new habits, and new versions of ourselves. But new usually comes with a cost.Sometimes the hardest part of transition isn't that we don't want what's next. It's that we want what's next without having to release what was.In Episode 1 of The Cost of New series, we're talking about the tension between wanting change and holding tightly to what feels familiar. In this episode, we'll talk about:• Why familiarity can feel safe even when it's no longer fruitful• How fear shows up when we don't know what a new season will require• What we may have to release to make room for what's next• Why staying where you are may already be costing you• Trusting God enough to move forward before the new feels comfortableYour Flourish Practice for this episode is Your New Season Bill—a reflection designed to help you count the cost of moving forward and consider what may be waiting on the other side. You prayed for new. What would change if you stopped criticizing yourself through every stage of your growth? The journey toward your next destination, a healthier life, a new habit, or a better version of yourself does not have to be filled with impatience and resentment because you have not arrived yet. You can give yourself the grace to grow. For years, I was my own worst critic. I was constantly trying to figure out how I could be better, do better, and arrive at the optimal version of myself as quickly as possible.Recently, an old friend told me, “I can see how you've really let go of perfectionism, and you're giving yourself more grace.”That grace has freed me. It has allowed me to be seen trying, make mistakes, recalibrate, and get back in the game after an intermission. In this episode of the She's Made to Flourish Podcast, I'm sharing three lessons I am learning about giving myself the grace to grow.In this episode, we'll talk about:• Almost everything takes more time than we anticipate• It is okay to be a beginner• You may not win in every area at once, but you always have winsWe'll talk about releasing unrealistic timelines, respecting the process, making room for mistakes, and learning to celebrate progress without pretending there is no more work to do.You do not have to ignore the areas where you still need to grow. But you also do not have to ignore how far you have already come.────────────────────JOIN THE GARDEN ROOMamandarosshardin.com/the-garden-roomThe Garden Room is our free community for Christian women, featuring monthly Bible study and a weekly podcast worksheet to help you apply the Flourish Practice from each episode.────────────────────EXPLORE COACHING WITH AMANDAamandarosshardin.com/coaching────────────────────CONNECT WITH AMANDAWebsite: amandarosshardin.comInstagram: @amandarosshardin────────────────────Subscribe to the She's Made to Flourish Podcast for honest conversations, biblical truth, and practical tools designed to help you move from surviving to flourishing.Join the Garden Room community to access this episode's Flourish Practice and continue the conversation.Let me know in the comments: What is one area of your life where you are ready to stop starting over?Hosted by Amanda Ross-HardinCertified Christian Life Coach and Director of Called Coach Institute
