Last year, there were barely any comic book movies. There were only two or three, yet whenever they came out they would get bad reviews and had almost silent release dates. In 2021 however, it seems like every week or so there's a new comic book movie to review and on this week's episode of The Geek Gossip, your hosts, Jack and Artie review Marvel Studios' 26th movie, The Eternals. We discuss our thoughts on this movie, going over our likes, dislikes and overall opinions on the ups and downs of the newest MCU movie. In Tales of the Dollar Bin, our dad joins us when we review all these awesome comics we grabbed at Rhodes Island Comic Con, including issues of Captain Marvel, Secret Origins, 1982's Marvel Superhero Contest of Champions, Batman ‘66 and Mike Mignola's Frankenstein Underground. Jack and Artie also break down and review the new trailers for Morbius and The Book of Boba Fett as well as the announcement of a new animated movie, starring Guardians of the Galaxy and LEGO Movie star Chris Pratt as the iconic Monday-hating lasagna-loving cat from legendary comic strip, Garfield.
